This is not because we are rude and unappreciative, it is because we are used to Charice's brilliance and already expect it from her. I must admit, we are a tough audience. @LifeLiving4 Tough love crossed with too much freedom. In the west, it's considered rude to eat while walking. When I was in NY, my mom said to cover my food with the brown paper bag. Here, we eat anywhere even in public transport.
@xbass02 I am a Filipino and I'm been a long-time Charice fan as well. Before you judge, you should know a bit of our culture and background of this show. It's a morning show, that is supposed to evoke a homey, relaxed and casual atmosphere. The magazine, I am certain was a prop given to them by the staff of the show. Notice how the camera man and the director even focused on them. Even one of the hosts can be seen perusing a magazine on the side and putting it back on the side table..
Actually, I did originally consider that. I am also a long time fan, but I would never get "used to Charice's brilliance and ... expect it from her". To me, whether it is a first performance or the 100th pergformance... an exceptional performance deserves an exceptional response... always. But then, that is just MY culture.

If you've seen this wedding performance, watch?v=5iK1VSnXjt8 I understood why people didn't seem to notice her, but I was still incredulous as to how they CAN'T hear how brilliant she is. These days, she simply takes over any stage she performs in and just claims her audience as her own. Can't wait to watch her on Glee!
Fantastic ! first time i seen this one and Charice is fantastic. when she sings i stare and rewind, pause, rewind and replay, etc.
