i think trump is great... but this win in the uk-champs... a little to mutch luck for me. he had to loose against dale... and ronnie... he played well... but dale and ronnie played better - i think! i didnt watch the rest but... im not sure what i should think about this

@askbob Ronnie lost through no fault of his own. At 5-4 he split the pack and looked good to win but cueball went in the worst place it could. Second frame, a huge kick.

@DLPBurke he missed a easy opening red :(. I get very upset when he goes out. No one really compares to his break building. I live in New York now and play 9 ball, play that game you will understand what luck is. I haven't played Snooker in 5 years since i left England, No tables here. :(

@DLPBurke Out of all the matches Judd played at this Uk championship, the one with Ronnie was the hardest.In my opinion , Ronnie played better than him in that match , but he was unlucky.His onlymade 2 important mistakes : he should of played safe after he potted that brown and didn't get a good position for the blue at 5 - 4; at 5-5 he had a red to pot after a poor safety by Trump, but he used right english on the white to develop the black.He should of just potted it.

@DLPBurke Ronnie has had a good season so far, although he was unlucky in the match against Judd.His long potting has improved,his attitude also.But in my opinion his break-oof shot is very weak.He always leaves a pot on.That is carreless.Maybe he does it on purpose , but he shouldn't.He should break the pack on the other side , to vary his game. And he should pay a bit more attention to safety shots.

If he wins a big event, hopefully the Masters , he will get his confidence back.

@DLPBurke Yes I agree. Judd is the best single ball potter but in the break building department he still can't be compared to Ronnie. But Ronnie needs to win a world ranking title this season because otherwise I think,he could retire. It makes him sick to lose in the early rounds of a tournament and if he thinks that he isn't able to win a tournament anymore,he will retire.

Wanted Mark Allen to win. Was having a good comeback. Was totally right about Hearn. He had a legitimate complaint and got pissed that Hearn called him a silly wee boy. Got Allen riled up so he looks like the dick.

Trump played the best the whole tournament though. Wee deserved win.
