@Noahshollow they're for making sure that the ball does not get stuck in the corners.

@Terran156 If you have a real football table there is a small lift in the corner so the ball cant stuck in there.

why do you guys wiggle the back two defenders back and forth? why don't you set up the angles? seems like wiggling them leaves to much to chance

I don't get why they leave their men down when the ball is behind them... that's a disadvantage because you're blocking your own shots if you hit your own men in the front.... Always leave your guys up when you're on offense and the ball is downfield, and then always switch them to down position when the ball passes so they are on defense and block opponents shots.

In tournaments, your goal is to pass from one line to the next. If their guys are down, they can 'catch' the ball, but if they're up then the opposing team gains control.
