I am a vocalist for a Heavy Metal band and I do not believe in Christian Metal. Because just listen to it. That voice does not represent an Angel. Nope, but it represents Satan. That is why Heavy Metal is what it is. Lets not use this kind of excuse to make a Christian heavy Metal. that is just .... not cool.

okay i know i'm not a heavy metal head , i listen to but there is some heavy metal that is sorta cool and this isnt it and if you can't tell what the words are, how do you know if it's saying christian words?
what i've noticed that if the guitars are really distorted, but you can understand what the singers are saying, then it's heavy metal. but if you cant understand what they're saying then it's either grindcore, death grind, stuff like that. this is the latter.
I actually don't think that is black metal or death metal, I believe that is metalcore, or deathcore... not really metal actually. I'll check the metal archives for this latter.
Todays mainstream Christian pop/rock bands all sound the same. We need a Christian band with "Lynyrd Skynyrd" sound or maybe an early "Electric Hellfire Club" type sound. Something different that goes against the grain... Something that does not sound like the same old stuff on rotation at the Christian radio stations...

I am a vocalist for a Heavy Metal band and I do not believe in Christian Metal. Because just listen to it. That voice does not represent an Angel. Nope, but it represents Satan. That is why Heavy Metal is what it is. Lets not use this kind of excuse to make a Christian heavy Metal. that is just .... not cool.

praise to god doesn't represent an angel, but us giving praise to god. if the people singing, playing, whatever, and are worshiping god full heartedly, then they will be heard, and god will be graceful and smile upon them.

I see pastors even drink and they say well, jesus drank and as long as I don't get drunk it is okay. you have to relize we are in trouble. the screaming thing needs to go. It just represents evil. and we are christians we are the salt and the light. and we shouldn't do things that are worldly but Godly.

what i've noticed that if the guitars are really distorted, but you can understand what the singers are saying, then it's heavy metal. but if you cant understand what they're saying then it's either grindcore, death grind, stuff like that. this is the latter.

Todays mainstream Christian pop/rock bands all sound the same. We need a Christian band with "Lynyrd Skynyrd" sound or maybe an early "Electric Hellfire Club" type sound. Something different that goes against the grain... Something that does not sound like the same old stuff on rotation at the Christian radio stations...

LOL people realy do not have a clue what metal is. True metal is a better influence on children than country music. True heavy metal does not use curse words, its not depressing it dosent have to do with love other than for god, it never goes into sex or drugs. True heavy metal is a music reenactment of a great historical event in most cases a war or battle. In others mythological battles,wars,heroes. A example of true metal is Manowar, Iron maiden, Iced earth. Slipnot,disturbed ARE NOT METAL!!

Rock and Roll of hall of fame said "There are 4 kinds of rock Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, and Heavy metal if you dont fall into one of those groups. Its alternative. Thanks bruther, that was really nice of you. You know, i've just had an eye opener. I watched a documentary "Jesus Camp" it seriously influenced me to be more christian & start going to church again. Sabbath was the first metal band to exist. Tony Iommi found the diminishing fit on the blues scale which is the "tri-tone" before then you couldn't use the note...anybody that knows anything about metal history knows Sabbath was the first. i know my shit. christian metal sucks cuz they don't have a deep understanding of it, it's something they just can't grasp, and i've heard it all before

Rock and roll hall of fame says 4 typs of metal Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, and Heavy metal, Saboth is actualy considered hard rock and roll by the rock hall of fame they also recognize helloween as the first metal band and manowar as the first heavy metal band . They did write a song called "The gods made heavy metal" And that is were the term derived from. Saboth is about 15 years to early to be metal and about 18 to be heavy metal. Also the term metal refers to metal armor worn in battle.

Sabbath is not considered hard rock. i don't know why you think that even if someone said they are. watch a metal documentary. there are 24 sub-genres of metal out there. also the term "metal" has DIFFERENT meanings. manowar was not the first heavy metal band and when they made the song "the gods made heavy metal" they weren't talking about themselves but Judas Priest,Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath etc. like i said Tony Iommi started it

Well if you knew dates at least you would know that demao wrote the song "Gods made heavy metal" 3 years before maiden existed. lol and look on mano's website they do not recognize priest as metal or a influence. Your info is wrong THe rock and roll hall of fame says saboth is hard rock they are the athority on it not you. Maiden 1981 "Killers" Mano was 4 years before them. Also phd Archeology yea its not music but it is history and its a phd compared yo your high school diploma lol.
