  • Luks lyk taymiyans Hav mouthed off

  • Hammad wasn't weak the was a mixed response some said reliable (Ahmed), sum said trustworthy others said he mixed his narrations or was confused, but the bottom line chums to us he is reliable but most if not all say when it comes to fiqh and narrations of ibrahim nakhai he was trustworthy as ibrahim himself said after him take from hammad

  • Isnt Hammad bin Abi Sulaymaan weak, and most of the narrations that abu hanifah narrated came from hammad bin abi sulayman.....can you clarify that please.

  • To All,

Please note that I made a mistake when I used the word "Body" for Allah. May Allah forgive me for that.

I have no right to use a word for Allah which Allah and Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi WAsallim never used.

Allah has what He said for Him (Hand (يد), Face(وجه), Hearing(سمع), Sight(بصر), Love(حب), Mercy(رحم), Anger(غضب)) etc. and we know the meaning of these words but we don't know the actual Kaif (كيف)(how they are). I'm sure I'm keeping it simple and clear.

  • Leave this debate

    We have pressing matters

    The Islamic ummah has awoken

    Get up with us

The defence of the Muslim lands against the physical and ideological attacks

  • The Mu'tazilla adopted their way of thought and poisoned the Muslim minds.

Even If you ask the Sheikh above, he will not deny any of what I have stated.

  • They affirmed seven attributes literally ( and anything connected to them ) and did Ta'weel of the rest of the Sifaat. This was not the way of Imam Abu Hanifa and the other Salaf. They affirmed all the Sifaat and did Tafweedh of the Kayffiah ( the how / or the reality).

This argument of the direction and space etc, it comes from Aristotle and Plato, the Greek philosophers ( the Shayateen ). This is not an Islamic principle.

  • This method of understanding the Sifaat Of Allah SWT was a rebuttal of the Mu'tazilla. They succeeded in defeating them but as a result, errors were made in the process.

  • The above is not the Aqeeda of Imam Abu Hanifa, but the Aqeeda of the " Mutakallimun " ( Theological Philosophers). Imam Abu hassan Al Ashari and Imam Maturidi.

Imam Ashari, who was the founder of this type of Kalaam, abandoned it in the latter part of his life and accepted the creed of the Ahlusunnah. See his final work " Ibaana " in which he submits to the creed of the Salaf. It surprises me why this important fact is never mentioned regarding him.

  • This is a wishy-washy explanation of Aqeeda. A lot of dodging the real issue. Imam Ibn Taymia exposes and demolishes this type of argument and traces it back to the Hellenistic philosophers. He covers around two thousand pages of evidence from Quran, Sunnah, Ijma of Salaf. Read Majmu al Fataawa.

  • @TheNightsky10

Don't forget many Ulema have also refuted Ibn Taymiya (RH)'s beliefs on aqeeda.

  • @TheNightsky10

Also, it is the Aqeeda of Imam Abu Hanifa.

  • brother firstly the hadith about abdullah ibn masood regarding giving ta'weel regarding the shin of Allah is in Bukhari and you need to finnish the hadith off to get its real meaning and that is when he gave that ta'weel regarding the shin that it means on the day of judgement it will be a dreadful day then the same sahaba that asked the question about the shin of Allah went to Muhammed(s ) and Muhammed(s ) said no on that day you will see the shin of Allah.

  • @revengeoftheturnip bring me salaf saying that "when Allah says His Hand it doesn't mean His Hand it means Qudrah, or saying that when Allah says His Face, it doesn't mean His Face it means something else, and when Allah says Istawa it doesn't mean the Istawa (presence) we know in arabic it means something else like Istaoola that your devient scholars have coined.

  • @tamimihayat Bro, u do knw Imam Abu Hanifa (Rahimahullah) was from among the tabi'een. He met at least 1 sahabi and that is Anas Ibn Malik (Radhiallahu 'Anhu). His tutor was Hammad ibn Abi Sulaiman (Rahimahullah); Hammad, student of Ibrahim al-Nakhai; Ibrahim, a student of Alqamah; Alqamah, a student of Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Mas'ood (Radhiallahu 'Anhu). So just as revengeoftheturnip said, Abu Hanifa's Al-Fiqhul Akbar says "whoever attributes Allah with an attribute of the creation is a kafir".

  • @revengeoftheturnip Abu Mansoor Maturidi, was the 2nd man who deviated from Salaf and didn't get in his so called "aqal" the idea of Allah having real hand and real face so he rejected salaf- how can you accept his words... the first scholar was Abu Moosa Ashari who at the last part of his life returned back from this devient belief that Allah actually means something else ... and not that what He say or we know....

  • @revengeoftheturnip There is no space or place above the throne - get this point in your aqal... the creation end at Arsh... what is above that is only and only creator my and your Allah

There is a direction of Allah with referrence to us...the creation .... i.e. UP... above or on top of creation. ... there is no direction in referrence to Allah ....

  • @revengeoftheturnip Do you reject Allah has attribute of Mercy, Anger, so on and so forth.

Do you reject Allah is Noor

Do you reject Allah is above heaven

    Do you reject Allah smile

Do you reject Allah comes down on the Heaven of this earth (first sky) on every night in the last thrid part....

How can He come down when he is not above....

if you reject all this then it means you reject that Allah has existance... you belive that there is no one and nowhere who you think as GOD....

  • @revengeoftheturnip Salam to all, Lets start with what we both agree that Allah is above the heavens... which Allah clearly mentions in many Ayat of Quran that He is above His throne.

Ok lets simplify your concern ... i.e., how can Allah be confined in limited space--There are two basic failure of understanding / misconception when you think like that,

  • @revengeoftheturnip 1- You think, that we think that His body is like every material body of flesh and bones, or other material object --- well we don't think like that --- His body, as i already mentioned in prior post, but repeating in case you didn't get it right, is a body suitable to Him as being a creator, we know He is Noor, we know His direction, we don't know His shape, position (standing or sitting), Size and even nature of that Noor....

  • @revengeoftheturnip how can you reach Creator till you go ahead of creation - you rightly said - THE LIMITED CANN'T CONTAIN THE UNLIMITED - so i can extract from these words that He has to be out of creation and not within it..... You also know that comparison of the whole of universe in front of His Chair (Kursi) is ring in a desert - means nothing - So we can't even compare His chair to His actual body as it is a waste of time and you can't have a measurement as there is none....

  • @revengeoftheturnip - So how can His body come into what is soooooooooooooooooooooooo limited..... Let me simplify all this - We believe He created time and space - He didn't need part of His body to create something when there was nothing, this too is a limitation of Creation that they need something to create another one- WE BELIEVE IN ALLAH, WHO CREATED EVERYTHING FROM NOTHING.

    WasSalaam to All.

  • Mashallah beautiful Lecture.

Indeed there is no doubt Imam Azam Abu Hanifa RA was the geatest Mujtahid.

  • simple as that, so when you believe Allah Subhanahu Wataala is All hearing and All watching, and we too see and hear so would you just deny His attribute cuz we hear and see.... cuz Laisa Kamislihi Shai, nothing compares Him... so He hear and see as is suitable for Him as Khaliq and we see and hear as is suitable for us as being Makhlooq, He is Noor... so would you deny this just as angels are also noor.... No way...

So His hand and face are as suitable to him as being Allah. we believe in it.

  • People who take Ayat like " He is closer than our Jugular Vein" must read full text, which goes like this:

And indeed We have created man, and We know whatever thoughts his inner self develops, and We are closer to him than (his) jugular vein, [50:16]

this is the evidence of him being All knowing and is an attribute of all hearing (Al Samee' and all wathich ' Al Baseer' - So with reference to these attribute He is closer than our jugular vein... and relating to His presence he is on Arsh.

  • Abu Dawood quoted this narration adding that the Slave Girl named Jariah Radiallah Anha, pointed towards Sky,

"Do you feel secure that He, Who is fis-sama (above the heavens), will not cause the earth to sink…Or do you feel secure that He, Who is fis-sama (above the heavens) will not send against you a violent whirlwind?" [67:16-17]

"To Him ascend (all) the goodly words, and the righteous deeds lift them."[35:10]

why deeds go up and do you think Allah didn't have right words. nauzubillah.

  • @tamimihayat --misinterpretations....the slave girl couldnt speak, and it was said :

fa asharat ilassama waha datun zeeh..meaning in arabic, is transcendence, ALLAAH has no place..........

then she pointed at The Holy Prophet saying in sign language, meaning you are the messenger of Allaah...the moral of this miracle is that Prophet Muhammad salallaahu alaihi wasallam taught people who cant speak the Shahada with sign language..

  • @kaka2278600 can you gimme reference of this narration as i read in Sahi Muslim and for Abu Dawood's reference i heard a lecture...

I will read the text and explanations as well. and i will see what had imam said about this narration in terms of authenticity. Can you throw light on other parts of comments as well.

    WasSalaam....

  • she answered "Messenger of Allah" so Prophet Muhammad declared her Momina and she was freed.

Arabic text is "Fis Sama" . in Arabic Fee (in) is alternatively used for Ala (on) in quran and sunnah on some occasions and this is one of them.

So if according to this learned speaker this is that an irrelevant question and doesn't indicate about existence of Allah then why would Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallim ask such a question as a test of Eeman for a slave girl..not an Alima. WasSalaam

  • he took 48 mins and surely 500 words are not sufficient to answer his blames and his basis of deviant Aqeedah he and his elders has.

I will just quote one thing Inshallah which will suffice in breaking the shell of misunderstanding he tried to create around us:

Sahih Muslim, Kitabul Masajid, Wa Mawadius Salat, Bab-Tahreemul Kalam Fis Salat = part of hadeeth says "Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallim Asked the slave girl "Where is Allah" she answered "in heavens" and then asked "Who am I"

  • IMAM ABU HANIFA IS THE GREATEST SCHOLR TILL TODAY

  • jazakallah for shareing

  • I had to reupload this video, because the last time i uploaded it, youtube messed up the dubbing of the sound, but alhumdulilah it is fine now.
