Hi There! Loved the video!

I bought some nyx glitter eyeshadow and was wondering if there's any way I can apply it on my lids and keep it from transferring above my crease. I love the look for new years, but I really want to keep the glitter confined to just my eyelid, but it keeps rubbing off above the crease area. Any suggestions?

I am not going to use a $30 blush brush on a damp splotch of hair spray.

Why not put it on first, then spray? Using a mascara brush (with clear mascara) you can put a little bit in without looking like a sparkly-painted kiddie ride at the carnival.

With this method, it can be brushed under your hair. Been doing it for years now.

I found the combo in a ready-made product at Sally's Beauty Supply last week. Same effect. You want SMALL glitter, too, or it looks ridiculous.

I have a jar of MAC glitter lying there and I never know how to use it. I should give it a go with one of these tricks. I was also thinking of applying it with eye gel as mixing medium (from thebodyshop) because it is quite sticky. Glitter is fun :-)

but you can use a NOT sticky clear lipgloss if you want, on lips and lids .

well brow gel would be kind of odd to put into your lids, and using a clear lipgloss is cheeper . its a trick that ive seen some gurus use before .

I just went out and bought a silver lose glitter from hard candy. I think i perfer pigments though, because for eyeshadow it takes a little more to get it to stick. But its still adorable. I tried the hairspray in the hair with glitter, it works sooo well!

heres a great tip i use!

after I put glitter on my eyes or face i spray that area with hairspray. I KNOW it can be unhealthy or dangerous for your eyes but it works so well!

I have a mac pigment sample of glitter that I love using with nail polish. You just mix the glitter with a shiny topcoat and you have a brand new, fun, sparkly color! my favorite glitter for this is the 3d silver. i got mine at the beauty sampler for like $2!
