  • i heard alot about those days

  • I love old logo!!! It was year 1982 I became Canuck fan therefore I miss black, yellow&red uniforms

  • Comment removed

  • Supergreat brawl here.

  • Just what exactly WAS the old Canucks logo?

  • Cockran was a bad motherfucker !!!!!

  • it was so raw back then, nowadays its like a beauty contest sometimes

  • schultz vs twist.... i say twist by ko.

  • Love how the organist keeps playing on during the brawl... and those bizarre Flying V Canucks unis...

  • Love how the organist keeps playing on during the brawl...

  • Tiger always beating up on flyers

  • Clarke is still a disgrace to this very day. The only time Clarke was "tough" was when he was playing non fighting Soviet players in the Summit Series. Clarke is like one of those punks that start crap knowing that his buds will "hold him back." He'd always hide behind his goons. Tiger would've destroyed Clarke.

  • Main....I was a fan when I was a kid....as I got older - grew some morals - lol - I realized that you're right....his comment about Neilson really showed his true colours...."we didn't tell the guy to go out and get cancer".....what a jack ass.

  • Doesnt matter how you look at it, The Flyers are a tough ass squad.

  • @phillenation11 not really, sucker punches, and other...like moose jumping to save schultz when he get his ass beaten

  • the flyers should have never been in vancouver in the first place. i have never seen them out there. stay east, guys, because this looks strange to my eyes

  • Yah, monster V!!!!

  • pussy clark as usual...surrounded by his goons

  • that's so true he and Kenny Linesman always waited for the tough guys to come around to help them out

  • Watch the fight again??...I'd prb puke watching that pussy ass FAG Clark pretend he can fight....take on 5 guys?? WTF are you talking about? He couldn't take on 5 girls. Thats why his goons were always around to protect his sorry ass. So STFU!!

  • @ACDCmetilicaSLIPKNOT

Typical Flyers fan, I presume. I don't think you get the point. Though Clarke took on many players, he ALWAYS had enforcers/goons surrounding him. It's no wonder why Clarke was a fucking joke. He's always exaggerated on how he "can fight". Bull, Bobby, cut the fucking crap.

  • cant be from '81. flyers wore cooperalls during the 1980-81 and the 1981-82 season

  • @connorrulz I believe this was 1981. The Cooperalls came @ the start of the 81-82 season so this would have been early '81.

  • bob smautz and bob clark holding each other.

  • Long hair, beards, no helmets, no suspensions for leaving the bench. Man, hockey was great bak then.

  • @dstar1958 not to mention the dirty staches

  • @dstar1958 I remember this game (I'm from Phila) and GOD I MISS REAL HOCKEY!

  • @dstar1958 ya plus they used to play drunk and high on coke. gotta love old time hockey

  • go canucks go

  • Glenn Cochrane BEAT SOME ASS

  • Tiger and Behn wilson calmly standing and talking things over, CLASSIC

  • dude after williams retired he played oldtimers league against my dad and he got in a fight w/ him.. then he had to go to anger management classes ROFL

  • NO WAY!!! LMAO! Was your dad ok after the fight?

Anger management for Tiger? He should have go to it 30 years ago, lol

  • the good old days!

  • Where is Bob Probert when you need him?

  • in high school

  • I miss the Canucks old logo!

  • @RedemptionMn those jerseys wear god aweful....miss them tho!

  • When Williams was with Vancouver he got into a fight with a player whose name I forget. Williams kept his gloves on and started turtling while the other guy kept pounding him. The crowd wasn't happy with Williams but in the end the other guy got a 5 minute major while Williams got nothing. It was hilarious!

  • Nice! I would love to see that one. He once suckerpunched Tom McCarthy of the North Stars so badly I think Tom ended up with dozens of stitches. He's still one of my favorites to watch. A true mad man. The really funny part of this video is seeing Behn Wilson standing peacefully next to Tiger. Usually they would be pounding each others' faces in when in that close of proximity to each other! Let me know if you recall the other guy in Tiger's turtling escapade!

  • we lost but Ohlund cleared Hartnell twice, was pretty sweet.

  • The Flyers are in Vancouver tonight. They brawled in 1980 and 81, Round 3 tonight 27 years later?! Always has been a rivalry there of sorts.

  • Frank Bathe, what a character! He looked like a viking attempting to board an enemy vessal!

  • Knob-Job Bobbie Clarke is the guy who instigated fights with cheap-shot chops to the backs of guys legs and then hid behind his goon teammates - this guy is a gutless maggot puke - should be hall of flamer, not hall of famer, what an embarrassing nappy-eaded perm boy...

  • you've forgotten more hockey history than i'll ever know? that really makes a lot of sense there dickhead

  • I miss the Canucks playing at the Pacific Coluseum back then....GM Place is nice, but its has a cold and corporate atmosphere...

  • I hate GM place.

  • this is great, gotta love the music in the background.

  • this is Hockey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i could see mel bridgeman looking for a dance partner. this guy was one of the toughest flyers ever. maybee the toughest. doubt if tiger williams would mess with him.

  • Williams would have had no problem fighting Bridgman. Williams had a pretty good fight card over the years..he fought a lot of tough dudes.

Toughest Flyer EVER would probably be Dave Brown, followed closely by Behn Wilson. Others would include Cochrane, Holmgren, Brashear, Schultz, etc. Bridgman was a pretty good fighter, but not in Wilson's league. Wilson was a beast. Brown was extremely dangerous as well.

  • never said he was the best fighter, just one of the toughest as far as brute strength, fearlessness, physicality and aggressiveness. and a pretty good fighter at that. can't remember seeing him lose a fight. as for Williams, yes he took on a lot of tough guys over his career but i've also seen him take some poundings. and when you say he would have had no problem fighting Bridgeman, do you mean fighting him or actually beating him? would have been a decent go. i'd put my money on Mel.

  • @ProbertFire Really? I thought it would have been Schultz. He held the Flyers (and NHL's) record for PIM in a season with 472 in 74-75. I do remember Dave Brown being a goon but I don't know how many penalty minutes he held. I don't seem to remember it being more than the Hammer's.

  • @albertarn Brown didn't have the penalty totals Schultz had, but he was probably the most feared pure fighter in Flyers' histroy. Behn Wilson would have to be ranked up there too. Schultz fought some tough guys and deserves some credit for sure, but Brown was dangerous and rightly feared. Schultz gets a lot of disrespect here, but that's usually by idiots who don't know how TOUGH it is to FIGHT for a living. I didn't like Schultz, but I give him tons of credit..he was tough.

  • Tiger would take on anyone. He was fearless

  • yes he was fearless, no doubt. but he probably lost at least half of his fights. so what the fuck are YOU talking about. or do you know what you're talking about. sorry but you don't you're hockey history. so shut you're fucking trap asshole

  • Pardon me, but I have forgotten more hockey history than you will ever know.

OH, if that sounds like boasting, it isn't. You are nothing but a loudmouth who hides behind a keyboard to cuss at people.

  • You have no idea what you're talking about...and watch the asshole comments..but I guess it takes one like you to spew the shit that you're farting out.

  • That's got to be Doc Emrick in his early telecasting career along with Ed Van Impe doing color.

  • too bad they didn't let Tiger finish with Clarke - typical for Clarke to start something in a crowd where somebody could step in for him

  • Ain't that the truth.

    Biggest cunt that ever played.

  • ur a fag. clarke was a great player. what the hell did tiger williams ever do? nothin.

  • what did Tiger ever do? 3,996 pen mins. 116 pen mins in a playoff run. Tiger would kick your pansy ass.

  • Two seasons with 35 and 30 goals. a few with 20 goals, and Tiger could upset a whole team and get them off their game. You don't know what you are talking about, so best to shut your mouth and open your ears instead

  • You are rude AND full of shit.

  • wow
