@Universal247 sounds like a miss-configuration.. did you make sure that the APN and more is correctly typed in settings..?

@mcnovy I got it. The problem with it was that my SIM Card from my HTC Aria was old and couldnt handle the speed of the actual phone. Getting a new SIM card fixed the problem.

text bubbles can only be customized in handcent or gosms, not in default messanger app.

Play a bit with handcent.. it's quite easy..

There are lot's of great phones out there, and the G2 is one of them,

so I am sure you won't regret it.. but.. new phones are just around the corner (3-4 month)

I currantly have the Samsung Wave ... but am thinking of buying this one. I don't like the conversation text messaging though. On the wave you can use either.

samsungs own message app have 3 presets..

you have the ability to install 3rd apps like goSMS or handcent, in which you can customize everything for yourself.. even have themes for specifik users..

When i get a message or a call.. at firtst there's the notification sound/ringtone and then a voice says.. "You got a message/call from 09123..."

Can i not remove the voice somehow.? It's really disturbing.

i just got my phone, and i dont get how too erase messages, and see messages u have sent and stuff like that:S help?!

@1c54 if you want to delete a singe message, hold your finger on the message, untill a popup menu shows, where you select delete..

the messages is showed as a conversation between you, and the other part.. so both the messages you sent, and receive is shown in the same list.. it should be farely obvious

That is fixable with another keyboard.. well.. this is android.. so everything is basically changeable..

I would be glad to give you a more direct answer, but I am not sure what you mean..

@mcnovy yes, i know i could use another keyboard but like even on much simpler phones when you type :) or :-) it immediately turns into a smiley (a yellow face) whereas ,here, it stays the way you type it. it kinda sucks :/

though, if you choose the smiley, instead of manually "typing" it.. then the smiley will show..

atleast when using handcent.. I am sure that some text message app's can convert as you type..

but.. hey.. it's still a great phone, and I have yet to regret that I bought it..

@mai567 hey, i got the s2 a few days after, i think and i keep forgetting to comment on here again ^^ you really need to explore that phone a bit. it has none of the issues you showed in the vid. when you want to see the conversation/msg thread you just tap the back button. as for smilies, they work too! you go into msgs -settings-input mode -automatic and they work :) they're fun too. the only things is you need to use the whole smiley - with the nose ^^ i.e. :-) . not just :)

you can use Skype or similar to video chat..

but you want be able to make a facetime chat between an apple product and this phone.

Skype should work on both iPhone's and this phone though, but I am not sure, havent tried.

Nogle fungere bedre en andre, jeg har dog ikke testet så mange, og det er ikke alle tastatur som tilbyder 3x4 tastatur. Om der findes et gratis tastatur til 3x4 som tilbyder temaer ved jeg ikke. @OfficielBitch Du kan installere alle de tastatur du har lyst til, så ingen problemer i både at have swiftkey og 3x4, jeg har selv flere, og nej, når først du har valgt 3x4' så vil det være valgt i både sms'er og internet, det er ikke lykkedes mig at finde en løsning på dette. Har dog heller ikke prøvet så meget, da jeg kun bruger qwerty..

Hvis man nu ikke bruger ordbog, eller Keyboard dictionary som du siger hva gør den så? Jeg har nemlig en Htc Desire (den første der kom på markedet).

det er selve besked programmet som er sat til at fylde hele skærmen når man taster en lang SMS..

det er så vidt jeg ved gratis.

Man kan skifte imellem sprogene og keyboard'sne ligesom jeg viser man skifter mellem de 2 keyboards jeg viser i videoen, så det er jo rimelig hurtigt..

@Blas6000 Jeg kan godt vise det med afsendelses rapporten, selvom at der ikke er så meget i den..

og jeg har nok skrevet det forkert.. det er hvis man SELV skriver en lang roman, så kan man ikke læse modpartens SMS'er, det er den del jeg fremviser til sidst, inden at jeg skifter over til handcent, for at vise at handcent ikke har det problem.

@Blas6000 man mister genvejs knappen, men tilgengæld bruger handcent en pop up istedet, så når du låser op, så er der en pop up på din skærm, hvor at du kan læse sms'en, og besvarer direkte..

Har læst at der er problemer når man sender og modtager MMS. Kvaliteten skulle simpelthen være overkomprimeret og pixelret. Er det noget du har oplevet, og vil du evt. lave en video med det?

@MoVeii Hej, MMS kvaliteten vil nok være lettere at vise med rå billeder, og ikke i en video (mit video kamera er ikke af nyeste generation, så jeg tror ikke at resultatet vil bliver særlig godt.

men desværre, så ligger jeg ikke inde med særlig mange telefoner at teste imellem, lige nu står valget mellem en HTC desire, og denne, og ingen af dem gør et særlig godt stykke arbejde..

Jeg vil gerne hjælpe, så hvis der er nogle som har nogle gode MMS telefoner, så kan vi jo prøve at teste lidt.. :)
