I was wrong. The composer is Shim Hyun Jung. She is extremely gifted. I wish she received more credit for her compositions.

I was comparing this piece to Prokofiev's Symphonic Suite of Waltzes Op 110 (Mephisto Waltz) as performed by Hans Schweiger and the Kansas City Philharmonic in 1959 (out of print). An extraordinary recording of a challenging piece of music that has many similarities to the The Last Waltz. Not typical Prokofiev... is anything of his typical?

U see, for many years Spielberg has tried to acquire the rights to remake Oldboy, but ParkChanWook kept refusing. So he now claims he will adapt the manga but Park created almost 90% of the concepts in his movie, yet Spielberg is gonna feature many of Park's concepts in his "adaption".

Initially, I thought this music might have been written by one of my favorite composers, Serge Prokofiev as there are many similarities with his unique style of composing. It is a superb compliment to be compared with Prokofiev.

Bravo Jo Yeong-Wook for a spectacular piece of music that touches the innermost soul of the listener!

Perhaps one day this will become part of your everlasting "Symphonic Suite of Waltzes"..
