I used to eat xr 75's for lunch with my 79 kx 80. but i still love your bike and thought xr 75's were great bikes. very reliable.my kx was pretty reliable for an mx bike. but i remember being broke down and waiting for parts while my buddies xr 75 ran and ran. he had it for 20 yrs and never had to tear it apart

well i don't doubt it. But unless your into vintage motorcycles ALOT, then it will be easier and cheaper to just get like a yz85. Could that thing keep up with the intermediate 85cc motocross class?

cheeptorque says its outta his depth when im 12 years old and have a 1978 honda xr75 in mint condition and it doesn't put out half the power of what i need.

Yours is Stock ,Mine is Race Ive got the other half and a couple more .You need a bigger piston a cam a pipe lots of time and money and the old XR will have all the power you need .Goodluck .Drakey
