Adam...I 1st saw you when you were arrested for dancing at the WM. You are a veteran who served his country proudly...and to hear you speak this strongly in favour of Dr. Paul, it helped convert me!! I am now an unwaivering Ron Paul supporter and I have you, and Judge Napolitano to thank for "waking me up" Now the rest of America needs to wake up to the reality of our country and its NEED for Dr. Paul! Thank you sir, respect to you, and keep spreading the message. RP 2012.
hyperbole never helped anyone get taken seriously. you know why not too many people dont take ron paul seriously? cause 90 percent of his supporters are completely insane.
Hahaha. As I predicted, RP is running outta gunpowder and will soon be EXPLODING no more. Then the "media" can actually ignore him. Something they should have always done. He will never gat elected as prez. NEVER.
@cydoniaquest I have received the misdirected hatred of most on this thread but I don't care. You all don't understand that the entrenched, 2 party system has protected itself from attacks by Ron Paul and all outsiders (RP is a Libertarian) You will NEVER force that system to change in a way that will reduce it's power and RP will NOT be nominated.Your only real choice is to elect,at the local level, Libertarian candidates as representatives and vote Libertarian at all levels.
@sillytweets How sad! Bush has faded into history and Obama, your messiah, has lied his way into utter failure. So now you favor Ron Paul? Hilarious! This is more proof that the internet, when solely depended on for information, fosters stupidity.RP will not even run because he will NOT be nominated by Repub voters. No vote rigging necessary.Try reading RP's writings;not internet cultism and idolatry. Do you remember what BOOKS are???
@sillytweets Hilarious. The Repubs rigged the election in 2004 but for some weird reason, didn't in 2008? You voted for Obama in 2008, but now you're for Ron Paul?
Has it ever occured to you that you just make bad choices? Do you really believe you are always right but can only be defeated by a conspiracy?
Dude it's already gotten to the point in which the GOP faces a dramatic loss of potential voters if they don't endorse Paul as a candidate to go against Obama. They will blatantly hand Obama the election and the curtains of a two party system deception will fall.
@ElBarto1193 The Republican voters will NOT nominate Ron Paul. One of the main reasons being a certain loss to Obama if they do. You have your poll numbers mixed up. There is little chance that Obama,a race baiting liar, will be re-elected.
@ElBarto1193 I don't depend on Googled blogs to infrom me about political matters. Neither will I insult your reasoning as so many on the net do. But 1) RP will not be nominated 2) He will not run as a 3d party candidate 3) Obama will not be re-elected. We will see.
@meemoonses I meant look at news reports dude. I agree with point 2 but not sure about the others. here nationaljournal. com/2012-presidential-campaign/poll-romney-paul-tie-obama-20120109
@ElBarto1193 Here's what I got: "Your search - nationaljournal. com/2012-presidential-campaign/poll-romney-paul-tie-obama-20120109 - did not match any documents."
Allow me as an old man who sees history and politics as his hobby to express an opinion. I visited the site and saw a poll that shows Romney as a clear statistical leader among the Repubs including RP. Repubs will not nominate RP based solely on his anticipated performance in a debate with Obama.
@meemoonses type in "vvvvvv." before the link, youtube won't let one post a full link. See the problem is that the GOP thickheads are too stubborn to realize that RP would convert all of the progressives who support Obama because he'd call Obama out on all of his transgressions against liberty. Romney won't argue ideological oppositions; not really, he's the same old centralist and therefore not really too different.
So we people who are familiar with Ron Paul and have watched him for over 20 years and don't see him as a viable presidential candidate are "thickheads"? Obama's "transgressions" will NOT deter Obama-lites but have chipped off a few supporters who have now flocked to RP (to his embarrassment).
I have discussed this with friends, neighbors, and family. RP will NOT be nominated despite the idolatry.
@meemoonses Sorry by GOP I meant the current ruling faction of Neo-cons who control the decisions. Why would Paul be embarrassed? Decentralization is a progressive idea, always has been since the inception of the federalist and anti-federalist parties.
@ElBarto1193 I don't believe for a second that there is an elite who "control" (your word) how millions of Republican voters vote. They have not in the past and won't now nominate RP. I don't KNOW that of course, but believe it to be a certainty.
@meemoonses Again I do not mean to indicate there is a "secretive cabal" faction within the GOP but there is a committee, I assume, which decides who the nominee will in fact be right? If so they are those to which I keep referring.
@ElBarto1193 Let me add this. I am assuming you are aware that whether or not RP runs is determined by the number of votes he gets in many state primary elections.so should we assume that someone or some people are changing the vote count? Do you have any rreferences that can support this notion? Wouldn't changing millions of votes in order to deny a well known guy like RP the nomination be a huge complicated task? I would say if the vote is close, maybe. But it won't eventually be close at all.
@ElBarto1193 no decentralisation is not progressive. decentralisation is libertarian. Progressives are mainly leftists who support big government. And its only been around for 100 to 150 years. Libertarianism has been around since the start of the USA and before.
@TheConnorian If that's the definition for progressives then I suppose you're right... an I know that, again I simply meant it has been a "forward" idea since this country began.
@TheConnorian Probably because progressives are distracted by other issues such as social freedoms; all of which might be solved with a smaller federal government; at least in part.
Oh my! I cannot understand why a woman like me who is not politically inclined, and was only expressing the hope that RP will get nominated/elected, should get bombarded by a douchebag grandfather who has nothing else to do than read every fucking heck of comment here in youtube and lambasting everyone with his "ample" knowledge about US politics. tsk tsk tsk...i guess he is just a plain henpecked husband or widower!
@scflyer55 I don't know what "DBMSM" stands for. I totally avoid minute by minute coverage but I can see that the media is,I believe, overdoing it. As for Obama, I'm waiting to see if his campaign slogan is gonna be "Vote for me! It could have been worse!"
I can only say that the only hope for mankind is the Kingdom of God which will be brought to earth & be ruled by God's appointed King, Jesus Christ. m not a member of any religious organization as i dont believe in religion, but i believe in God & His promised Kingdom will come to us as we pray for in the prayer that Jesus had taught us to say, The Lord's Prayer. All the temporary world leaders are just here to keep possibly as they can everything in order before the promised Kingdom comes.
@meemoonses whatever, your "gift of gab" is no longer a gift but a nuisance. (though i believe thats what you intend to do, to annoy people). Dont you have anything to do the whole day other than writing long comments & replies to even the most unassuming remark written here? you blab about RP being this & that, but when i sincerely asked you whom youd choose, you said you have no other choice but HIM!
then what is all your ranting about??? go & make yourself a productive American citizen!!!
( Jesse Benton,Campaign Chairman) “The campaign had planned to cover our normal degree of media interest, WHICH IS ALWAYS AMPLE" (caps mine)
“Mrs. Paul herself, attempting to campaign alongside her husband, was shoved aside by one reporter and told to ‘get out of the way.’
(There are over 50 registered candidates for president. What level of coverage should each get? THIS MUCH? Is the NWO slipping? Look up the report. Is THIS "disgusting"?)
(Jesse Benton, national campaign chairman for the Ron Paul campaign),“Dr. Paul has been committed to meeting...New Hampshire voters, and has aggressively campaigned at town halls, house parties, and meet and greets since early last spring. This morning, he attempted to...speak with patrons and supporters in the last push before the New Hampshire primary. Unfortunately, Dr. Paul (was) forced to leave early after over 120 members of the press created a mob-like atmosphere that was deemed...unsafe.

nancy.tellem@tvc.cbs.com
LISTEN UP SOLDIERS FOR THE NEW WORLD! IT'S SPAMMING TIME NO MORE LIES! NO MORE BULLSHIT! CBS DIDN'T EVEN MENTION RON PAUL IN THEIR LATEST POLLING RESULTS! FIGHT FIGHT SPAM SPAM SPAM FILL THEIR EMAILS AND VOICEMAILS AAAHAHAHAHAH!
I know that the example I cite below does not directly correlate to the nat'l debt, but a home loan lasts 30 years and is a fixed amount. You don't keep borrowing more on your house. If you did, your house payments would quickly be more than your ability to pay.Greece did this and is bankrupt.Spain,Portugal, and Italy have done this and are begging for Loans.More debt to pay debt.Even if you can't elect RP,don't forget this.Obama MUST be stopped!
I know I'll get yelled at here, but I see this as important.
Today, our debt hit $15.2 trillion. That is = to our GNP.
Why worry when it's OK to owe 2 1/2 times your yearly income on a house?
Because it is NOT OK to be required to pay 2 1/2 times your monthly income in monthly house payments.Obviously, you CANNOT do that unless you rob banks.
Ron Paul's exact policy statements are a matter of record and doom his candidacy. He will do better than I expected in NH at anout 20% but no matter. That will be his last "hurrah". He will continue,as I said, because he has a message he will insist on delivering and people keep sending him money. Most totally unaware that he can't possibly be nominated, much less win.
@TheCultivatedMind i am an Asian living in Germany working on a 400euro job, and supporting 3children back home. But if in your saying i or the rest of the world have to "chip in" you mean I have to support the Ron Paul campaign by giving money,.. in a small way i can manage, i will by all means--- but how and where?
thing is, no matter how much financial support Mr Paul gets, it is the electorate that decides who the rightful President should be by writing the right name PAUL on the ballots!
@tessabela Before taking money away from your family and giving it to Ron Paul, you need to look deeper into how our system works. Ron Paul will NOT even be nominated, much less elected. I have no problem with seeing people in this country donating to his campaign since his voice needs to be heard. But by who? Europeans? One last warning: RP CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE NOMINATED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT!
@tessabela You have my profound respect for your efforts as regards your children. I wanna offer you this: RP is running as a Republican. In 23 years of his career,he sponsored 620 bills in Congress, but only ONE was passed.Just ONE. Despite the adulation you may see here, his policies have been totally rejected by his Repub constituents. He will never appear on a ballot in the general election and it is too late for him to legally change his party affililiation and run as an "Independant". (more)
@meemoonses Wow! you have an incredible gift of gab! :)
i am just amused about why it is you who's responding to that reply i wrote to TheCultivatedMind's response to my simple comment...where is that guy, by the way? :D
@tessabela (more) 3)Obama has added $6 bill in debt in just 3 years, is demanding more, and must be stopped. RP does NOT have the political resources to do that, the Repubs, acting together, can. 4) Also, too may (not all) here are "paulistas". They know little about RP's Libertarianism but adore him the same way they adored Obama. Thanks for the "gift of gab" comment.
@tessabela (more) As you note,a voter may write in his name, but he doesn't have, and cannot gain within the time limitations, the necessary support he would need to be elected. It's not even close or feasible. Espouse his policies and ask his questions by all means, but don't waste your money on a man who has plenty of campaign funds and cannot be elected. RP himself knows this but will run until the bitter end because he will insist on being heard.
@tessabela (more) You ay it will be a pity if RP is not elected. Why? What do you know that the millions of Republicans who have dismissed him don't know? Do you believe these many millions are "brainwashed" and senseless? Do you not understand that RP's notions are familiar and understood by us? Obama got elected by a credulous electorate and we don't wanna see this disaster repeated.
@meemoonses, this remark above is i think the most unassuming remark written here based on just watching videos in youtube, and still you bombarded me with provocative questions... no wonder the world will never be at peace... this world is so full of hatred.
@meemoonses :)) i think you should direct your words to all the ones who are posting videos like these in youtube or to all others who support Ron Paul... I was just trying to say something about what i think and i was just responding to TheCultivatedMind's answer to my previous unassuming comment.
so if Paul will not be elected, who do you believe should the people of the United States of America choose so that the same "disaster" will not be repeated? its a sincere question I ask by the way-
@tessabela 1)Why my response? My mom raised my bro and me as a single mom in a time 50+ years ago when there were no gov't programs for her at all.I would hate to see these zealots induce you to send one penny to a politician that does not need it. 2) As much as I am dismayed to,yet again, vote for a "lesser of 2 evils" I will do so. If Ron Paul could actually appear on a ballot,I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY vote for him.Bush doubled the debt from about $4 bill to $9 bill in 8 years. (more)
@tessabela Though I'm sure donations help him quite a bit, I wasn't necessarily talking about monetary donations. I was mainly referring to just helping get the truth out about Paul. This can be done through the internet.
The media in this country is so biased that most US citizens are misinformed about both the candidates and the world at large. So just doing your part by talking to US citizens about Paul can help a great deal because most only repeat what the US media tells us to think.
@TheCultivatedMind You wrote: "I was mainly referring to just helping get the truth out about Paul. This can be done through the internet" Since you seem to have no frame of reference, you are unaware that most internet sources are questionable at best. Our media is the most open and verifiable in the world community.Like all liberals, you hate your country and don't hesitate to smear our reputation. Disgusting.
@meemoonses What is with you and logical fallacies? That wasn't even directed at you in the first place and you're already throwing around ad hominems?
The internet does have questionable sources, indeed, but you're actually able to find more information on the internet than you can from the US media. The US media has already been confirmed biased regarding our current presidential elections by multiple independent studies; including one from the University of Minnesota.
@tessabela You wrote that you are a 400 euro a month worker in Germany supporting 3 kids in the Phillipines but wished to support the RP campaign. I took your words at face value. I never thought you were a "die hard" supporter. Those types quickly indulge in hysterics and profanity. You didn't.
@TheCultivatedMind it is alright.dont think about it. honestly, i pray that Paul would win...i do help in my own small way by posting videos of him on my facebook wall even if most of my friends are from Germany & Philippines. I know that what happens in the US affects the whole world. I dont really know much about politics but i have been watching videos of his speeches he made in 1988 up to the present & he is consistent and does have a point & the US citizen must listen to him this time.
@TheCultivatedMind by the way, i want to mention about the videos I saw here where the tv newscasters, well, the media for that matter, had deliberately ignored Ron Paul. They purposely not mention him being on third of a census made there at some city, and mentioned Bachmann instead though she came only 4th!!! amusing but also disgusting.
@tessabela At a "meet & greet" appearance by RP this morning,so many reporters showed up,his office said: "The press created a mob-like atmosphere that became unsafe for the candidate". RP,on video said "It's a little bit chaotic;I'm used to a little bit more calm and delivering my message in a more calmer fashion..it is exciting". Mymymy. One wonders just how much RP needs MORE press coverage. This will NOT be reported in the foreign press.
@meemoonses well, i reckon, the press after realizing there is no way to stop him from being heard, had decided to go for it... i might as well make money out of it if i cannot make him shut up or make him invisible...dont you think so too? :)))
@tessabela No, when Jesse Benton,RP's Campaign Chairman, says “The campaign had planned to cover our normal degree of media interest, which is always ample", I feel no need to assume he is lying. I don't get on the internet and share and build conspiracy theories I need to defend. If RP's guy says coverage is adequate, it is.
@tessabela "I (a member of the press) might as well make money out of it if i cannot make him shut up or make him invisible"
I do not understand this.I have questions.
Why would the press be determined to make RP "shut up"? How could the press act so concertedly and for what possible reason?
How do reporters or their schedulers make more money by covering RP more? Doesn;t that mean they made LESS money when they,as you allege, covered him less?
@meemoonses i do not have to answer your questions because i think even the simplest simpleton knows the answers.
and i do not have to show "evidence" whatsoever because im only referring to videos i saw here about RPs result in the polls being ignored (Jon Stewart, etc)...you should know this, you live there.
money? reportage? what about ratings? or newspapers selling like hotcakes on the newsstands?! do not pretend to be too naive just so you can whiplash me with your provocative words.
@tessabela Hahaha. I'm not going anywhere. I was a productive American citizen before you were even born. Now that I'm retired, I enjoy poking holes in internet gas-bags.Please continue to base your views on blog-crap and Jon Stewart,a comedian! Hehe. Whiplash you??? You mean the truth hurts that much? The only choice in Nov will be,as I posted, anyone but Obama. Oh,was he your messiah? So sorry! Hahahaha.
@meemoonses by the way, you said "anyone but Obama"...so why do you still argue against all these RP supporters! if you are against Obama then look for a video supporting Obama and pour all your rumblings there instead of here!
@tessabela You aske: "why do you still argue against all these RP supporters! if you are against Obama"
1 1/2 years ago,the RP supporters I conversed with were conservatives like me.They said I was too liberal and most claimed to be Libertarians.NOW,these RP guys appear to be mostly former Obama-lites and foreign nationals. They HATE "Rethuglicans" and have latched on to RP.Futility! So if If I can convert just ONE to a reluctant Repub supporter, just for this election, GREAT! (more)
@meemoonses so there is no use lecturing me because even if you do successfully change my preference over RP, that would not do any good because i am not a member of the US electorate! i have only high hopes that your countrymen will choose the right person to be President because like i wrote somewhere, what happens in the US affects the whole world.
@tessabela All my postings have been directed directly,or in your case, indeirectly, against the notion that RP will be elected. My two most previous posts have described this effort and purpose. As you two responded to me,I reesponded to you. There is no reason to get upset. If my posts don't apply to your sentiments, just ignore them.I wish you and c-mind no ill will at all.
@meemoonses you make it sound like i "responded" to you first! you reacted to my sarcastic-sounding response about donating money to C-Mind's reaction to my comment.
(and the comment about donating money to the campaign which was meant as a sarcasm actually, i did not say 'I wish to donate money'..tsktsktsk, you should understand it, or is my English so poor you do not get what i was driving at?!)
better you go to sleep, than trying to make a problem out of my comments!
@tessabela (more) As for folks like you (foreigners)...I was in Blackpool for a week after Obama was elected, and saw the mindless adoration of Obama. It was ceazy! Obama got a Nobel Prize for...WHAT??? They need to be shown the details of Obama's ineptness and the dishonesty of his actions compared to his promises. Unity indeed to STOP Obama before he borrows the USA into permanent debt we can never repay. You non-USA folks have been misled by an adoring press.Check the facts.
@meemoonses The DBMSM loves this election cycle doesn't it? If they don't have any candidate news to pick apart and spin up to a frenzy. They are eating up RP like crazy. Sounds like they took a page from Rush and have mounted "their own" Operation Chaos.
Any excuse to not shine the lights too brighlty on BHO!
@meemoonses i never liked Obama for anything, who told you that?! i was already an RP admirer in 2008 & I was sad that he lost altho I i knew he'd lose anyway. when i learned he is running again i am excited about it especially I see he has got a lot more of support now from the people... i just PAID ATTENTION to what RP is trying to say, I watched videos of his speeches in 1988 up to the present & he does makes sense. you have your own views & I dont question them! they are yours!
@meemoonses, First I was not trying to say anything about MY views here, I just COMMENTED on this video. and expressed my hopes that RP will win. If you want your views to be heard, you have your own youtube account SO WHY DONT YOU MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEO & SCREAM ALL YOUR VIEWS THERE then we can comment on it & then you can lecture me! CultivatedMind does not attack me like you do even if I reacted sarcastically to his reply to my comment. you just turned out of nowhere & interferred...
@tessabela (more) You don't live in this country and don't see what we see.You seem to believe some crackpot theories you have been exposed to. They don't make any sense! You need to ask simple questions and accept the simplest answers (Occam's Razor)
WHY would the press ignore RP?
What evidence have you that RP has not appeared as often as the other candidates? We see him every day and he is in all the debates.
We CANT forget about Dennis Kucinich he has the same beliefs as Dr. Ron Paul. We also have Matt Gonzalez from California. BUt the time for Dr. Paul is here n we need to make him our president.
@aguafinatv Hahaha. (Wiki) "Kucinich has attracted attention for consistently delivering "the strongest liberal" policies.."
Amazing. Kucinich is a BIG GOVERNMENT liberal and is for just about everything Ron Paul is against. Sheesh. This, for some people, will add to the notion that RP is so libertarian,he has become a liberal. Hmmm. So why is RP running as one of those awful Republicans? Personally, I see RP as unique.and it explains why he has accomplished nothing.
@meemoonses I dont think youre right about Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich has been fighting for the rights of the people for decades. He does not flip flop or is a hypocrite. He alo wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve. Do youre reasearch on this gentleman before you go smearing him.
@aguafinatv I posted what I found at Wikipedia. Are you saying they are smearing him? How about doing some research yourself before accusing me of any goddamn thing. You're so typical of your "type". If someone posts something you don't like you accuse them of lying. FUCK YOU.
@aguafinatv What a piece o'work you are! About this user: Hello sexy girls . I am a mature outgoing, down to earth str8 male. Pics/Vidz coming soon. Hometown: Madrid Country: US Occupation: " I go harder than Viagra mix with Vodka!!!" Schools UCLA Interests: cute butts.
You can name 5 other presidents? You're smarter than most Republican Tea Tards. But seriously, maybe you can name 5 other presidents but you can't name even one who was better than Obama. BTW, Obama created 200,000 jobs in December alone...ended the war...ended pre-existing medical condition clauses....killed Bin Laden...and he ain't finished yet. He stll has another term to save your sorry ass from your tea tardedness.
@TheAmericanMoron Hahaha. More "moronicisms"? Every recent president since Carter has been less harmful than Obama. How can Obama claim to have added any jobs when we are entering our 4th. year of unprecedented 8+% unemployment? Obama, like all other presidents, dragged the war out until he HAD to end it. Obamacare was so grossly misrepresented and lied about,it will likely be repealed.BTW, RP enjoys much support from TP people. Is that "tarded"?
@TheAmericanMoron I voted for Obama in 2008. Guess what? Fuck Obama. My eyes are wide open now. In my eagerness to punish the Republican party I completely overlooked Ron Paul and I am ashamed of my failure as an American Citizen. This time around I am doing the right thing.
@guitarwiz420 Your "eagerness to punish the Republican party" will have the same results as all such useless actions. Your vote will be wasted and help Obama possibly get his 2nd term. That may be what you want anyway. Hatred doesn't elect good candidates.
@titteringfiend1 Bwah ha ha ha ha...the sky is falling. You should hide under your bed before they come and git ya. LOL Poor little teatard. The big ol' boogey man is comin' after ya. Tell the world about it. Scream it from the mountain top, then throw yourself over the side. I can see you now goin' bumpity bumpity bumpity all the way to the bottom. By the way, did you know that most of the poorer states in the USA are Republican run states?
@titteringfiend1 Do I have to explain it to you? *SIGH* I'm trying to tell you that you're paranoid. You're an alarmist. You're like the crazy old people who got all outta gear because Sarah Palin told them that Obama was trying to create a death panel. Grow up. The sky isn't falling so settle down. When the day arrives that the Teatard Republican Party takes control of the White House; that's when the sky will fall. Now stop asking me to explain things to you.
@Ladyrumer Hahaha. I'm older than Romney and I don't like him anyway. But, to issues: One of the great joys of posting now are the opportunities to see dreamers hold on to deflating baloons as we stick needles in them. Most of the people here are the same dreamers and hopers who sold us Obama and they are mortified to see the results. Now ya'll wanna sell us RP??? Hahaha. After NH and RP's fall, I will attack liberals with equal zeal. This election will be FUN!
To those who so recently have become RP fanatics (paulistas):
Adult, sober, thoughtful Americans have been watching RP for 30 years. And have seen just one idea of his pass Congress;ONE outta 620! There's no "NWO" involved. No secret powers at work. RP simply does NOT propose anything that will be useful. RP's new supporters are mostly liberals totally disgusted by their loser-hero,Obama and they are at it again. This is not the time for dreaming cultists and hero worshippers.
@meemoonses Hello again. I can agree that the GOP establishment is very narrow minded a selective, but I do not agree that Ron Paul is not electable. I think a vast majority of republicans want less war and to restore their money supply. Many are waking up to the fact that the democratic party and the republican party are very similar nowadays. They are almost exactly the same. Obama has kept Bush's foreign policy. Democrats are seeing no 'change' came under Obama. The people will elect Ron Paul
@meemoonses Sorry, still gotta disagree. The people won't allow RP to be denied. He has too much influence. Any other candidate would just further drive the economy into the ground and lead us down this path of peril. People are waking up to that. I guess this is just where we flat out disagree with each other. But hey! There is nothing wrong with that :)
That's cool. But if you know some way that is not magical, for RP to be elected to anything, you'd better QUICKLY tell the paulistas. After the New Hampshire primaries, it's all over for RP and they will be left with their loser/hero, OBAMA.
@meemoonses im sorry but dont you have better things to do than to troll and hate on Ron Paul. I personally like Ron Paul and will be voting for him this year. Alot of people who didnt like him respected him because unlike the others running, he sticks to what he believes and doesnt flip flop on issue. Cant really say that about the others... The media says his ideas are out there. How so? whats out there about ending a war we the people dont want?
@GBOveRatEdGB You ask: " whats "out there" about ending a war we the people dont want?"
You have it wrong;most people, including me,wanted the Iraq war to end years ago.But that war as well as the Afghan war, will end anyway and soon. I like RP and recognize his unparalleled integrity, but you good folks don't seem to understand that RP has been in Congress for 23 years and has accompliched NOTHING! His "do nothing" policy on Iran is DANGEROUS and will deny him being nominated to run. Reality.
@meemoonses His popularity is growing and the media doesnt like that. Ever see him on the news as often as romney and santorum? Of course not. Voting for him would be like voting for the founding fathers. I didnt vote for obama. i didnt vote last election simply because I didnt want to vote for the lesser of two evils. Im commited to Dr. Paul and will be supporting him till the end. Have a nice day
@GBOveRatEdGB Fine, Now all you have to do is find a place to vote for him. He will NOT be on any presidential ballot we know of. I guess you could write him in and I would suggest you do that rather than vote for someone you don't want in office. News orgs make money and will not waste a bunch of air time on a candidate who will soon fade away into oblivion. Sorry.
@meemoonses exactly why he should be voted in. new organizations just want to make money. All these "news media" say they are fair and but your claiming he will fade away and so does the media. your only making paul look better not worse. Im not trying to make you vote for anyone YOU dont want to, but the fact is hes got what it takes to turn it around. HE'S the only canidate who stands a chance at beating obama. If the GOP write him off for romney or santorum then they'll lose to obama.
His fate does NOT lie in the hands of the Repub party directors or the "media". Don't you understand that? The voters in the Repub. primaries will NOT vote in RP as their candidate because they don't want him,and that's that. You cannot elect him to anything with enthusiasm. It will be, in 2012, Obama or whomever the Republicans nominate. No conspiracies, just the voters saying "No".
@meemoonses there is a saying its not the people who vote that decides an election but the people who count them... Ron Paul's numbers are going up. There are lots of people who want him in but sheep like you just write him off. Just quoting you. Im tired of Arguing with you, I was trying to point your ignorance out but your doing a better job at that your self. Agree to disagree and with that said. Ron Paul 2012!
@GBOveRatEdGB You wrote: "Then they can blame themselves"
This goes for everybody. We conservatives will deserve 4 more years of this Obamination if the Repubs nominate the wrong guy.Romney is an ego driven rich guy who will say whatever it takes to corral some votes. But I think he can beat Obama and I will vote for him. At least Romney is NOT out to "fundamentally change" America. We've changed enough for the worse already.
@meemoonses Hola, you think Ron Paul is done after NH? That is another area I gotta say nope. He is the only other candidate to qualify besides Romney in Virginia. He is speculated to take Nevada. He virtually tied for 1st in Iowa (he received the same amount of delegates), why would he stop after NH where he will probably take 2nd place? I'm not understanding your logic. Is this speculation on your part? Are you looking at the statistics?
Yes I am.RP will not quit and I never thought he would. He is running to deliver a message;an important one,and he has plenty of money. But he will NOT be nominated by Republicans to run. His plan to reduce the military and ignore Iran and N. Korea will make him unacceptible to Repuibs. Now,you can reject my reasoning all day long,so I won't burden you with that task. Just do some reading of sources NOT dedicated to promoting RP
Where things get really bleak for the Representative from Texas is when Rasmussen asked the respondents “Which Republican presidential candidate would be the weakest opponent against Barack Obama in the general election…. Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry?” – the results: 5% Romney 5% Santorum
@meemoonses That's because the media tells people to think that. And those who aren't astute will do so. Poll numbers are rarely anything but demonstrations of the ignorance of the masses.
My IQ was measured at 129 and I was invited to join MENSA (declined). I am sick of your egocentric ramblings. Get a mirror and argue with your equal: yourself.
That's what I love about phonies like you;you can't stop. I invite ALL who read this to check this out.You receive your MENSA invitation if you score in the top 2% of those within your tested group regardless of your previously tested and documented IQ. It is true that your established IQ must be (I believe) 130 or better to sidestep the test but I had no docs so I took the test and scored in that top 2%...(more)
@TheCultivatedMind (more)...on National MENSA Day, Oct 18, 2003. Perhaps I should ask myself why I bother answering posts by people who spout off about subjects with which they are unfamiliar. Irony? Yep, it is ironic you should question me why I should post my IQ when you interjected it into the conversation.I have much morte reason to question your words than you do mine.
@meemoonses When did I ever question why you posted your IQ? I know why you did it. Remember, you're the one who said his was IQ below the accepted Mensa minimum, then said Mensa wanted you to join. That type of language raises red flags to people.
BTW, didn't you say you were done talking after your last attempt to insult me? Why should I suddenly believe you now?
@TheCultivatedMind I took the MENSA test at others' urging and knew nothing about their qualification parameters. My IQ score was measured in 1967 and was no longer aqvailable to me,so I took the test. You inferred that MENSA membership was strictly based on IQ level which is misleading. No matter. Any points made or missed here will be mooted very soon by events in NH, SC, and subsequent primaries. Our words are here for anyone to read, It's late, and I'm tired.
@meemoonses Also, I think the vast majority of what you call 'paulistas' would not support any candidate if Paul drops out of the race... Obama is just as bad as Romney, or Santorum, or Grinch, or Huntsman. I guess the question is who do you support? I see anyone supporting anyone but Paul just lost in oblivion.
@Ihateregistrations1 You wrote: " I see anyone supporting anyone but Paul just lost in oblivion"
I think anyone who sees others with whom they disagree as "lost in oblivion" is just practising an elitist policy of "I must be always right".I can assure you,you will NEVER be "always right". If you can be wrong, you can be wrong about RP and I may not be "lost in oblivion". I will not share my preferences with anyone lost in their own ego.
I'm fully aware that most we see here will NEVER vote for Romney or any of the others, but these same people were basically Obama-lites anyway. I share their disgust at Obama's dishonesty and failures but I will NOT throw my vote away. Since 1791, many thousands of Americans died so I can vote and I am damn well going to do so.
@meemonses stop wasting your time lingering in ron paul videos telling people how bad he is. nobody listens to you. No record is better than a devaluating currency and dead soldiers on your report.
@3rdsidewalker I haven't spent any time telling people how "bad" RP is.I've said what is true: Ron Paul will not be nominated to run for president.Being an old man,my dreaming days are over. RP being elected president is a mathematical impossibility. Most of the people I see here are liberals and foreigners who have abandoned their former "messiah", Obama, and I thoroughly enjoy bursting their RP bubble. And I'm not gonna stop because foreigners love him so.Ya'll loved Obama too, didn't you?
PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.
IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.
IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION ! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE ! PLEASE !
WE NEED EVERY LAST VOTE ! Copy and paste and vote up this everywhere.
@meemoonses You have already used that insult. If grammar is an issue then you have some editing to get to. Interesting that I typed your SN wrong and yet you were fast to respond. It appears that most of your time, at least today, has been spent on heckling nearly every person to comment here.
@Matclip You wrote: " your time, at least today, has been spent on heckling nearly every person to comment here" That's not far from the truth. I plan to be here when Ron Paul starts to fade away. I wanna see the disappointment in the words of the liberals here who latched on to RP as quickly (and vacantly) as they latched on to Obama. Using the same trite expressions and lurid conspiracies. I have no real differences to fight over with you,I don't think. Just ignore me and I will do so too.
"There Will Never Be Another Ron Paul in Human History."
Not that he is that great, but with all the others there is a good chance we will be enslaved forever, condemning our species to die on this rock we call a planet.
Anyone who runs dogmatically under an ideological banner ie "libertarians, democrats, republicans" is short sighted and susceptible to manipulation. I can't accuse Ron of that at the moment.
He is considered many things. It depends on the agenda of who you ask. You proved my point of the danger of sticking to labels. He holds on to many ideas held by many self proclaimed libertarians. But ask 6 libertarians what it means to be libertarian and you will get six different answers.
Also if he is the father of the "tea party" then why is "their" common response to nonintervention is "We got to go Bomb dem AyeRAB Iraners." Maybe they are the stupid child?
@nustada (AP/Jay Root) "Paul, a native of Pittsburgh, is both a spiritual father and actual father in the tea party movement. His son, tea party darling Rand Paul, won a Senate seat in Kentucky last year... As far back as 2007... Ron Paul was hosting a 'Tea Party Fundraiser' aboard a shrimp boat near Galveston"
(Wiki) "He campaigned for President of the United States twice before, first during 1988 as the nominee of the Libertarian Party and again during 2008....for the Republicans"
Again you are proving my point. As I said in a way the "Tea Party" has been co-opted by chickenhawk liimpwristers, and the party system is a chronic disease of the republic. It's still "we the people" right?
@nustada I have proven nothing and have made no effort to do so. You have shown that one can always be right if one is free to re-define all the components of his argument to suit his version of the "truth".
@nustada " "We got to go Bomb dem AyeRAB Iraners."
To cite this crap as attributable to the TP people is as valid as saying the "occupy" movement supports bombing government buildings just because one of them was arrested for making that threat. My agenda is to avoid hype and to expose facts as best I can find them. You and all are welcome to report alternate facts. To deliberately slander the TP people exposes a hateful bias. I have nothing against RP.
@meemoonsee Is there not something better for you to do? Trolling on YouTube is what a real "monitor-moron" and "intellectually challenged" child spends there time on.
@Matclip I am retired and live in the middle of nowhere. I actually spend most of my time downloading music and playing chess. I am not any kind of "moron" but will use that insult when someone here starts insulting me. And it's "their", not "there".
RP 2012.

@sillytweets Hilarious. The Repubs rigged the election in 2004 but for some weird reason, didn't in 2008? You voted for Obama in 2008, but now you're for Ron Paul?
Has it ever occured to you that you just make bad choices? Do you really believe you are always right but can only be defeated by a conspiracy?
meemoonses 3 weeks ago
Dude it's already gotten to the point in which the GOP faces a dramatic loss of potential voters if they don't endorse Paul as a candidate to go against Obama. They will blatantly hand Obama the election and the curtains of a two party system deception will fall.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 The Republican voters will NOT nominate Ron Paul. One of the main reasons being a certain loss to Obama if they do. You have your poll numbers mixed up. There is little chance that Obama,a race baiting liar, will be re-elected.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses Dude google "Ron Paul Obama" Paul makes a strong bid, stronger than Mitt.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 I don't depend on Googled blogs to infrom me about political matters. Neither will I insult your reasoning as so many on the net do. But 1) RP will not be nominated 2) He will not run as a 3d party candidate 3) Obama will not be re-elected. We will see.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses I meant look at news reports dude. I agree with point 2 but not sure about the others. here nationaljournal. com/2012-presidential-campaign/poll-romney-paul-tie-obama-20120109
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 Here's what I got: "Your search - nationaljournal. com/2012-presidential-campaign/poll-romney-paul-tie-obama-20120109 - did not match any documents."
Allow me as an old man who sees history and politics as his hobby to express an opinion. I visited the site and saw a poll that shows Romney as a clear statistical leader among the Repubs including RP. Repubs will not nominate RP based solely on his anticipated performance in a debate with Obama.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses type in "vvvvvv." before the link, youtube won't let one post a full link. See the problem is that the GOP thickheads are too stubborn to realize that RP would convert all of the progressives who support Obama because he'd call Obama out on all of his transgressions against liberty. Romney won't argue ideological oppositions; not really, he's the same old centralist and therefore not really too different.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 I thought we dropped this
"GOP thickheads"?
So we people who are familiar with Ron Paul and have watched him for over 20 years and don't see him as a viable presidential candidate are "thickheads"? Obama's "transgressions" will NOT deter Obama-lites but have chipped off a few supporters who have now flocked to RP (to his embarrassment).
I have discussed this with friends, neighbors, and family. RP will NOT be nominated despite the idolatry.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses Sorry by GOP I meant the current ruling faction of Neo-cons who control the decisions. Why would Paul be embarrassed? Decentralization is a progressive idea, always has been since the inception of the federalist and anti-federalist parties.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 I don't believe for a second that there is an elite who "control" (your word) how millions of Republican voters vote. They have not in the past and won't now nominate RP. I don't KNOW that of course, but believe it to be a certainty.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses Again I do not mean to indicate there is a "secretive cabal" faction within the GOP but there is a committee, I assume, which decides who the nominee will in fact be right? If so they are those to which I keep referring.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193 OK, but I don't see where "they" have stopped RP from seeking the nomination. Obviously, he is.
meemoonses 1 month ago

TheConnorian 1 month ago
@TheConnorian If that's the definition for progressives then I suppose you're right... an I know that, again I simply meant it has been a "forward" idea since this country began.
ElBarto1193 1 month ago
@ElBarto1193
yes its a progressive idea but progressives do not support it. They are kinda weird imo.
TheConnorian 1 month ago
@TheConnorian Probably because progressives are distracted by other issues such as social freedoms; all of which might be solved with a smaller federal government; at least in part.

I know that the example I cite below does not directly correlate to the nat'l debt, but a home loan lasts 30 years and is a fixed amount. You don't keep borrowing more on your house. If you did, your house payments would quickly be more than your ability to pay.Greece did this and is bankrupt.Spain,Portugal, and Italy have done this and are begging for Loans.More debt to pay debt.Even if you can't elect RP,don't forget this.Obama MUST be stopped!
meemoonses 1 month ago
I know I'll get yelled at here, but I see this as important.
Today, our debt hit $15.2 trillion. That is = to our GNP.
Why worry when it's OK to owe 2 1/2 times your yearly income on a house?
Because it is NOT OK to be required to pay 2 1/2 times your monthly income in monthly house payments.Obviously, you CANNOT do that unless you rob banks.
Ron Paul would try to end this
The Repubs will try to end this
Obama wants to borrow even MORE
Please remember this in Nov,2012

Ron Paul's exact policy statements are a matter of record and doom his candidacy. He will do better than I expected in NH at anout 20% but no matter. That will be his last "hurrah". But if in your saying i or the rest of the world have to "chip in" you mean I have to support the Ron Paul campaign by giving money,.. in a small way i can manage, i will by all means--- but how and where?
thing is, no matter how much financial support Mr Paul gets, it is the electorate that decides who the rightful President should be by writing the right name PAUL on the ballots!
tessabela 1 month ago
@tessabela Before taking money away from your family and giving it to Ron Paul, you need to look deeper into how our system works. Ron Paul will NOT even be nominated, much less elected. RP himself knows this but will run until the bitter end because he will insist on being heard.

TheCultivatedMind 1 month ago
@TheCultivatedMind You wrote: "I was mainly referring to just helping get the truth out about Paul. meemoonses 1 month ago

@meemoonses BTW I do love my country and my world. That's why so many of us support Ron Paul. I am not a liberal either.

@TheCultivatedMind it is alright.dont think about it. honestly, i pray that Paul would win...i do help in my own small way by posting videos of him on my facebook wall even if most of my friends are from Germany & Philippines. I know that what happens in the US affects the whole world. I dont really know much about politics but i have been watching videos of his speeches he made in 1988 up to the present & he is consistent and does have a point & the US citizen must listen to him this time.
tessabela 1 month ago
@TheCultivatedMind by the way, i want to mention about the videos I saw here where the tv newscasters, well, the media for that matter, had deliberately ignored Ron Paul. They purposely not mention him being on third of a census made there at some city, and mentioned Bachmann instead though she came only 4th!!! amusing but also disgusting.
tessabela 1 month ago

@meemoonses by the way, you said "anyone but Obama"...so why do you still argue against all these RP supporters! if you are against Obama then look for a video supporting Obama and pour all your rumblings there instead of here!
unity and not disparity!!!
tessabela 1 month ago
@tessabela You aske: "why do you still argue against all these RP supporters! if you are against Obama"
1 1/2 years ago,the RP supporters I conversed with were conservatives like me.They said I was too liberal and most claimed to be Libertarians.NOW,these RP guys appear to be mostly former Obama-lites and foreign nationals. They HATE "Rethuglicans" and have latched on to RP.Futility! So if If I can convert just ONE to a reluctant Repub supporter, just for this election, GREAT! (more)
meemoonses 1 month ago

@meemoonses To recap my words in my last two posts Tue eve: "They need to be shown the details of Obama's ineptness...(THEY, not YOU)
"You non-USA folks have been misled by an adoring press" (I believe this and stand by that statement)
"these RP guys....They HATE 'Rethuglicans' (Clearly,I was not referring to you personally)

@meemoonses you make it sound like i "responded" to you first! you reacted to my sarcastic-sounding response about donating money to C-Mind's reaction to my comment.

You non-USA folks have been misled by an adoring press.Check the facts.

tessabela 1 month ago
@meemoonses, First I was not trying to say anything about MY views here, I just COMMENTED on this video. and expressed my hopes that RP will win.
Personally, I see RP as unique.and it explains why he has accomplished nothing.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses I dont think youre right about Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich has been fighting for the rights of the people for decades. He does not flip flop or is a hypocrite. He alo wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve. Do youre reasearch on this gentleman before you go smearing him.

Obamacare was so grossly misrepresented and lied about,it will likely be repealed.BTW, RP enjoys much support from TP people. Is that "tarded"?

Adult, sober, thoughtful Americans have been watching RP for 30 years. And have seen just one idea of his pass Congress;ONE outta 620! There's no "NWO" involved. No secret powers at work. RP simply does NOT propose anything that will be useful. RP's new supporters are mostly liberals totally disgusted by their loser-hero,Obama and they are at it again. This is not the time for dreaming cultists and hero worshippers.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses Hello again. I can agree that the GOP establishment is very narrow minded a selective, but I do not agree that Ron Paul is not electable. I think a vast majority of republicans want less war and to restore their money supply. Many are waking up to the fact that the democratic party and the republican party are very similar nowadays. They are almost exactly the same. Obama has kept Bush's foreign policy. Democrats are seeing no 'change' came under Obama. The people will elect Ron Paul
Ihateregistrations1 1 month ago
@Ihateregistrations1 Wrong.
1) Ron Paul cannot be elected. He would need to be nominated by the Repubs and that WILL NOT HAPPEN.
2) Yes,we are sick of the wars but we are already withdrawing
3) The Repubs want the torrent of borrowed money to STOP.
4) There are no differences between the Repubs and Dems to those who are politically blind
5) The Demo's have seen this nation indebted beyond our ability to repay because of their "messiah", Obama
6) We cannot elect RP;he won't run.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses Sorry, still gotta disagree. The people won't allow RP to be denied. He has too much influence. Any other candidate would just further drive the economy into the ground and lead us down this path of peril. People are waking up to that. I guess this is just where we flat out disagree with each other. But hey! There is nothing wrong with that :)
Ihateregistrations1 1 month ago
@Ihateregistrations1 You say:"I guess this is just where we flat out disagree"
That's cool. But if you know some way that is not magical, for RP to be elected to anything, you'd better QUICKLY tell the paulistas. After the New Hampshire primaries, it's all over for RP and they will be left with their loser/hero, OBAMA.

Reality.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses His popularity is growing and the media doesnt like that. Ever see him on the news as often as romney and santorum? Of course not. Voting for him would be like voting for the founding fathers. I didnt vote for obama. i didnt vote last election simply because I didnt want to vote for the lesser of two evils. Im commited to Dr. Paul and will be supporting him till the end. Have a nice day
GBOveRatEdGB 1 month ago
@GBOveRatEdGB Fine, Now all you have to do is find a place to vote for him. He will NOT be on any presidential ballot we know of. I guess you could write him in and I would suggest you do that rather than vote for someone you don't want in office. News orgs make money and will not waste a bunch of air time on a candidate who will soon fade away into oblivion. Sorry.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses exactly why he should be voted in. new organizations just want to make money. All these "news media" say they are fair and but your claiming he will fade away and so does the media. your only making paul look better not worse. Im not trying to make you vote for anyone YOU dont want to, but the fact is hes got what it takes to turn it around. HE'S the only canidate who stands a chance at beating obama. If the GOP write him off for romney or santorum then they'll lose to obama.
GBOveRatEdGB 1 month ago
@GBOveRatEdGB ou say: "he should be voted in"
You just DON"T GET IT!
HOW is he to be voted in?
By WHO?
WHERE?
His fate does NOT lie in the hands of the Repub party directors or the "media". Don't you understand that? The voters in the Repub. primaries will NOT vote in RP as their candidate because they don't want him,and that's that. You cannot elect him to anything with enthusiasm. It will be, in 2012, Obama or whomever the Republicans nominate. No conspiracies, just the voters saying "No".
meemoonses 1 month ago

@meemoonses Hola, you think Ron Paul is done after NH? That is another area I gotta say nope. He is the only other candidate to qualify besides Romney in Virginia. He is speculated to take Nevada. He virtually tied for 1st in Iowa (he received the same amount of delegates), why would he stop after NH where he will probably take 2nd place? I'm not understanding your logic. Is this speculation on your part? Are you looking at the statistics?
Ihateregistrations1 1 month ago
@Ihateregistrations1 You ask: "Are you looking at the statistics?"

@Ihateregistrations1 This is from a blog but it's Rassmussen poll numbers:
Where things get really bleak for the Representative from Texas is when Rasmussen asked the respondents “Which Republican presidential candidate would be the weakest opponent against Barack Obama in the general election…. Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul, Jon Huntsman, Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry?” – the results: 5% Romney 5% Santorum
11% Perry
12% Gingrich
19% Huntsman 36% Paul
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses That's because the media tells people to think that. And those who aren't astute will do so. Poll numbers are rarely anything but demonstrations of the ignorance of the masses.

@meemoonses Says the person who tried to judge someone because they tried to judge someone. Or didn't you see the irony there either?
BTW, an IQ of 129 is below the 98th percentile requirement of MENSA. 129 is within the 97th percentile. So your claims are quite questionable.
Perhaps you should ask yourself what the minimum IQ of someone within the 99th percentile is. Then add 12.

That's what I love about phonies like you;you can't stop.

Irony? Yep, it is ironic you should question me why I should post my IQ when you interjected it into the conversation.I have much morte reason to question your words than you do mine.
meemoonses 1 month ago
@meemoonses When did I ever question why you posted your IQ? I know why you did it. Remember, you're the one who said his was IQ below the accepted Mensa minimum, then said Mensa wanted you to join. That type of language raises red flags to people.
BTW, didn't you say you were done talking after your last attempt to insult me? Why should I suddenly believe you now?
TheCultivatedMind 1 month ago
@TheCultivatedMind I took the MENSA test at others' urging and knew nothing about their qualification parameters. My IQ score was measured in 1967 and was no longer aqvailable to me,so I took the test. You inferred that MENSA membership was strictly based on IQ level which is misleading. No matter. Any points made or missed here will be mooted very soon by events in NH, SC, and subsequent primaries. Our words are here for anyone to read, It's late, and I'm tired.
