  • "and you're horse!"

    =

    And you are horse!

  • what a nice film!1 And the photo at 3:34 is great too! :)

  • OUTSTANDING video ... nothing to add , just to agree what you show in your video ... great work and useful info to all ... thanks for posting ... greetings from ... ...♥~NorthStar~♫♥

  • It's a good job that you did whit your horses. =) Keep training like you are doing it, it looks perfect! You created an amazing relation ship whit your horse. ''Horsemanship'' or not, your work is famous.

  • i'm sorry but the music is just gay. and all the typos make it really hard to enjoy the video.

  • I understand the concept in this video. I say if someone tries natural horsemanship and it isnt working..then they arent doing it right! You have to really believe its going to work and really want to do it to get results.Too many shows and judges are involved in the horse world today..too many have forgotten(or never knew how)to just bond with and ride your horse. They are truly magical animals and to think everything "has to be just so" is in my opionio..sad!

  • Lol, no offense, but it seems at the end you were advertising it like a cult. XDDDDDD "Natural horsemanship, the better way for you, and your horse."

Still a good video though, nice job indeed.

  • The blond riding the black horse is hot.

  • My horse was completely wild, she was at an auction going to be sold to slaughter and she was completely upset, i hopped into her holding pen and she reared landing inches from me, seconds later she put her head against mine, since the second our eyes met she was mine, i have never used a whip, a spur, reins or a saddle, not even a halter, im am called crazy every day, but i know i can trust her and she would never hurt me, and i dont need to use them. I love you Wildfire, my spirit of the wild

  • I just want to say great job! I train alot of horses with this! I got my horse that wouldnt go to any one and was never messed with and she is 6 years old, I trained her my own way and this girl is one of the best horses i have seen!

  • i've got a horse and i've tried natural horsemanship but it would't work, thats why i don't do it.

  • @MissBarcelon have you heard the saying "the horse is never wrong" they can only be a horse, it is your responsibility to understand and change yourself and ask why you are not communicating with the horse in a way he understands, you sound like you give up easily, unless your horse is brain damaged or has a serious physical problem the problem is probably you. Time and patience go a long way.

  • I wonder why so many words were spelled wrong. It really took away from the video.

  • I know, 2 years ago my english was HORRIBLE, say the least :P

  • @flequestrian horses don't spell so what's the difference. the idea of the film is the important thing.

  • @flequestrian um can i just say that you cant critise her in her spelling when both comments you put on here had words that were spelt wrong....

  • @flequestrian what is the matter if its not spelled correctly?! just enjoy the beauty of the video, i am sure you are one of eleven who disliked this video, why always there have to be people with negative energy, obviously he or she is not american or english like you are, but at least he or she tries to present the video on a international language... keep this in mind...dude...very nice video thumbs up from me

  • loved this but riding bareback well wouldnt it hurt the horse say if it had a boneier kind of spine?

  • wow this video was TRULY breattaking i ahd goose bumps the WHOLE time! :D

i always ride my horse barebakc and only believ in natural horsemanship and im int he process of trinign him to do the tricks shown.... well done :D

  • Natural Horsemanship is definitely the way to bond with your horse or any other horse for that matter. Good job on the video, it was beautiful!! :)

  • Hi,your video is amazing! good job! can you tell me name of the song: i have the voice....

  • Loooove it! :)

  • BEUTIFUL!!

Wow!! Im planning to buy my first horse soon and I am so excited.

Your vid has made me realy think about riding.

    AMAZING!!

  • The best thing about natural horsemanship is that any horse&rider partnership can achieve it. All it requires is time and for you to listen to your horse, for he or she can tell you great many things.

A toast to the wonderful wonders of a beautiful bond.

  • I agree but also I didn't se hardly any horses that were collected collection is a major part of riding that prevents swayback and other back problems

  • Horsemanship isn't riding, it is a way of handling your horse :) The footage in this (old) movie where collected because all the riders did NH and tricktraining, it wasn't about collection this time. But I agree with you, it is important indeed. I ride bitless as well, but collection is something that is standard when I ride :)

  • @jasperlover887 bit enduced collection damages the bone at top of neck. medical fact.

  • (I just realized I could enter another post...)

Another thing, notice the ears+bodies of the horses when they are running free. Add a rider to THAT, + you really have something! Just because you can make a horse do something, while you are smiling at him, w/o tack, doesn't make it feel good. Its dominance vs passive leadership. Look it up. Mark Rashid has a good article on it, +Leslie Desmond talks about it all the time.

Good luck to all of you, you have taken the right path! Good luck!!

  • Really open your minds+think about this one! Like there are many differences in religions+food, which catergory of natural horsemanship does this video seem to follow? Don't quite get it? Change the music to something more dark, add a bridle + saddle if you need to, +maybe even a frowning rider. THE HORSES' EARS ARE BACK IN ALMOST EVERY PIC! There's tail swishing going on, tightness in their backs... Its not about the "freedom", or lack-of-tack. Its the friendship+will, foremost.

    No whips.

  • fucking agree with @ HeleneElskerFalkis :)

  • I love this video ;)

what is sad about it is that there are some (DUMB) people who see it and still thinking bits and etc are better...

    * sorry for my english *

  • i'm so glad you make this video !!! I think EVERYONE who is riding horses should think just as you do ! I am totally agree whit you ! <3 I dont have words for how people change horse from a free, lucky and happy horse to a horse who always have to do what the rider wont the to do! Jumping over fences whit saddle and a bridle whit so much metal in his mouth ??? What a F*** ?

Some people dont think about what the horse want's to do, only the rider self !.. I'm getting so angry !!!

  • u made it like a move and should be it was awsome

  • love this video!!! and the music! My horse Gallardo and I have just started the whole natural horsemanship thing and it is very encouraging to see other people doing it, some even as young as I am. I am only 15 and have been riding bareback and bitless for a while. We have been working on more of a connection though with ground work. So far it has really been working.

  • woderfule video

  • How could peoples think just for one second that so much metal your is good to your horse. Peoples just think that the horse like it because they don't dare fighting anymore. It depent all from the training, if they do something wrong they get a pull from the reins

of corse you can ride with a bit to,but then you may never draw at the reins

So why training the horse longer like the most peoples doing if it could be much much better way.

    beautifull vid.

    (sorry for my bad english)

  • This video is one of the most beatiful vidios i have seen about horsemanship and belive me i have seen many!!! I love how you think about horses!!! <333333 =D

  • I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen :)

  • I think you video is very great and put together very nicely, but I think you should check you grammar. It was incorrect quite a few times.

  • I think you video is very great and put together very nicely, but I think you should check you grammar.

  • i would love to do this... if only i had a horse :(

  • I reali <3 horse minship!! <3

  • goede muziek eva!

  • siete malati

  • Love this video!!! Love the music, everything!!! I do a little bit NH by my self and my two horses!

  • woow..greaaat !! i love it ..<3

  • beautiful ;) good job!!:D

  • so wonderfull and nice..love this Video and the music..

  • Thanks for sharing. As a long tern Natural Horsemanship student and very recent convert to the addition of click-treat training, I am excited about the possibilities to come. looking forward to more videos from you.

  • Beautiful video!!!! Great song!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!

  • I love this video so much!!!!!!!!! I hate dressage, etc.

  • Oh, well I actually love it! It can also be done bitless, without forcing, without pulling.. Dressage is actually made for the horse, not for the human and their competitions....

  • @AlwaysHorseLove Yeah, I know! But I just meant the version of when the horse has all that metal in it's mouth, and equipment on it's back. But it is beautiful!

  • Oh, in that case; I agree! This video is showing the many different ways of working with horses, you don't need all the equipment, the spurs, the bits... people can perfectly work without, if they would just believe :D

  • @AlwaysHorseLove Exactly! :)

  • @AlwaysHorseLove Is dressage humane with a bit? My barn only rides with bits, but we are trained to use them nicely and gently, always leg before bridle!

  • When a rider knows how to handle a bit it's fine with me to be honest. But, if a rider decides to use the bit in a harsh way, blegh.... so wrong! But, you are trained to use the bit with respect and a soft hand and thats REALLY good! :D

  • @AlwaysHorseLove that's good, because I was slightly nervous after this video about my barn's bits. Thanks for replying so soon!

  • Ah, don't be! People think that bitless riding is much better, but even bitless you can damage or hurt your horse. It is the riders hand that makes or breaks your horse, not the bridle itself. It is so important to respect every single bridle, with or without a bit, and I can see in your comment that you do so :D

  • Thats amazing video, I love it very much <333

  • What song is at 3:50ish to the end I believe? I'm in love with it! :D

EXCELLENT video by the way! :)

  • Wonderful!

  • Holy snap that was magical! If I ever come to own a horse, this is the way to go! You're wonderful at making videos... I hate how some people sit and act like horses are just toys placed here for our enjoyment. Kudos to those who engage in the natural and respectful methods of horsemanship!

  • could you please tell me the music you used with this video?

  • what is the song at 5:27 ? It's beautiful!

  • wath its a songs ?

  • hey can I borrow this video for a school project on horsmanship it would be so nice way I may borrow it for my school project i love the video

  • Ofcourse you can! =D

  • @AlwaysHorseLove thanks so much thanks

  • @AlwaysHorseLove thank

  • sooooooooooooo cool

  • Amber(L)(L)(L)

  • Who ever made this video is my friend. Not only did you make a video on horsemanship, but you ALSO used the Narnia soundtrack to make it! you are automatically awesome

  • ♥ Omg loved this video=) ♥

  • i have just started working my horse at liberty and she is amazing i also love riding her bareback

    Great video

  • BORINGGG......

    i just drool

    ya noobs

  • Omg this is a great video! I love it.

I work with same principles and I really think its the best way. You get to know your horse so much better this way... *Bidless, Bareback and Barefoot - thats my team :D*

  • sweet ^^

  • hello my name is chelsey and i need advice on how to train my pony to be not so pushy and and bosy because me and my pony soda were the best of friends unntil she started walking over people feet and pushing me about and she just not her self anymore wat can i do ??

  • Really really nice. Nice songs and good explained. You know were you're talking about. (:

  • Started horsemanship with a rescue problem horse some time ago and wonder why not more people do it. For me it is the only way now. Why would you want to scare or force a horse to do thing when you can just ask him nicely and get even better results.

  • One of the reasons we love horses is for the wings they offer to us and yet how can we experience that freedom if the horse is not free?

  • wonderful the picture at 3:58!!!!!!

  • wie heißt das lied bei 3:00?:)schöön*.*auch das video?

    [i can't english very well :D]

how is the song called by 3:00 minutes?

    the video is wondefull:)

    please write me a message:)

  • Hallo erstmal sehr schönes video wirklich toll dann wollte ich fragen ob ich ein teil von deinem vid für ein vid von mir verwenden darf?

  • Hi, (I can't speak German hihi) ofcourse you can! =)

  • hey @AlwaysHorseLove can I borrow this video for a school project on horsmanship it would be so nice way I may borrow it for my school project

  • haai,

    Echt super mooi gemaakt!!!!!

    Maar ik heb een vraagje:

Hoe kan jij de filmpjes van andere ook gebruiken zoals bijvoorbeeld Lotte en Babba?

    Maar echt superrrrrr mooi!!♥

  • horse at 3:53 is overweight but great horsemanship really good

  • at 2:35 what song is that i know its from prince caspian but what is the song called?

  • this film was added on my 14th b-day :D lol

  • Hallo, ein sehr schönes Video hast du da zusammen geschnitten.

Bin selber Fan vom Natural Horsemanship und finde es immer wieder toll Videos von Leute zu sehen, die ebenfalls damit arbeiten.

    liebe Grüße

  • Danke schon!

  • Hello, I own some Haflinger horses and I have a favorite named Belle. Where did you learn natural horsemanship? I would like to connect to my horse in this way as well. Good work girls! Annette from Canada

  • There are many many choices that you can look for, I would say stacy westfall is just awesome, check her video here on youtube. The big big thing is good ground work, building a relationship. Respect is #1, then they must have a job, a horse needs direction, needs responsibility . If you dont trust them, then why should they trust you? Message me if you have any questions would love to help or direct you to someone who does know. From a fellow Canadian

  • I'f seen vid's of her, really good!

  • @MrAnnettemurray It is lovely that so mny people are interested in horsemanship i was talking to this one girl who claimed she had a stallion 2 geldings and a colt i asked her how she felt about horsemanships and bonds she said i hate it dont believe in it and my horses arent here to be loved they are here to be used...i was apauled and hope she doesent have horses

  • @MrAnnettemurray It isn`t difficult you must see what your horse like and look videos from Pat Parelli or Honza Blaha .Buy a Rope and give your horse a chance to live a horse live!..look at my video about oure horses

  • @MrAnnettemurray You could try Parelli, but Monty Roberts is my fave :) just google them :)

  • @MrAnnettemurray I do parelli natural horsemanship, and I have got my previously over exciteable horse to calm down and really connect. Now he can stand on a pedestal, back up by the tail, lay down confidently, let me ride him at the walk, trot, and canter purely off leg cues and a neck string.

  • @MrAnnettemurray there isnt any way to explain it, no special techniques...just do it. and it all falls into place

  • I <3 this video!!!!!

  • How do you teach you horse to rear? Want to teach it to mine as well, but don't really know how to start..

  • Well, you could teach your horse to rear when you are playing? When you are running around, wave your hands up en JAHOO! Thats how my horse learned it.. I have a site but it's Dutch... =) Not very usefull! Uhm.. Teach your horse to stand on a block or something and build it up, higher and higher and then he will eventually jump on and of/rear? (sorry, my Englisch isn't that good)

  • I ám dutch, and I think I know what site you mean (let's keep this conversation english, for the ones who like to add some things). I do play a lot with my horse, but he doesn't really rears at me, because he's too carefull. Sometimes, when I wave my hands he does it, but that's once in the two/three weeks - not enough to let him get the point of rearing. So I'm gonna try to let him stand on something and 'rear' off, by stepping backward.

  • my NH "teahcer" told me she teached her horse do it by holding its head down so it had to pull it up doing that alot of times makes it go higher and higher up and eventually rear :)

  • I use targetting, you basically teach your horse to touch a target (my target stick) he gets rewarded every time he touches the stick and so will go to any length to touch it, which mean when you raise the stick, when he builds up the correct muscle in the rear end he should eventually be able to reach it, then click and treat. Just be careful!, your horse must respect your space and have spacial awareness down to an art before you even attempt it!. Hope this helps xx

  • welk programma gebruik je ervoor :)?

  • @mandytjuh29 Moviemaker!

  • I fully endorse creating partnership with our horses and violent free training. We do however need to educate ourselves regarding the romantic notion of bareback riding, as our seatbones actually damage the horse's back, when we ride without a saddle. A well fitted saddle is absolutely crucial to the horse's well being and long term soundness. Check online for master saddle fitters who will help you find a correctly fitting saddle, there is a lot of great information and help out there.

  • Do you have a source for this? I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, don't get me wrong, I'd just like to see a source with some hard evidence.

  • i want to do stuff like that with my shetland pony without the riding part just dressage but he just hates me i think. He bites he tries to kick me down and he rears at me. I really love him and don't want to loose him because when i do sell him he will and up in the slaugherhouse i know for sure. He can be nice but when i doesn't want to work all bets are off. He turns from sweet little pony to a little fighting machine. I tried everything even 2 adults couldn't help me. T.T

  • trust me i know what its like to be in that kind of situation when i first go my horse we bought as BROKE but every time some1 got on he would throw them off and i wanted 2 get rid of him but we ended up working with him everyday 4 about 2 and a half months but kicking and rearing are serious things and could easily get you hurt seriously and i hate to recommend you getting rid of him but one serious kick to the head or chest and you could end up dead or seriously hurt

  • i don't ride him he's almost 3 so... and i'm 1.69m and he's just a 1m so i think its cruell to ride him (no i'm not that girl who hates people for riding shetland's but i just don't do it). I don't know why he does it... but i know now that he is going to his puberty so i'll just sit it out for a while if this doesn't change within a month i'm bringing him to a specialist to give him a strick training hopefully that will stop his dangerous behavior

  • wonderful !

  • great video.. :)))

  • lotte en babba!!!!! jaaaaah !!!:D

  • The whole point of a rope halter is to train a hose to be light. It's made of polyester, which is stronger than nylon idiot. If a horse pulls, the rope puts pressure on the horses face, thus the horse gives. Webbed halters are too comfey, create ignorant horses and horses learn to evade because theres no pressure! Anyways, dissagree if you want, because I have lead webbed ignorant horses and they're a nightmare to handle.

  • yes agreed i swear i trake mi horses ground maners granted i mean i know she trys 2 dominant people but i notice weneva i lead other peoples horses that even ellies pushy days seem easy 2 handle and those 2r just the 'school master' ponys :S

  • met welk programma maak je dit?

ik met windows movie maker, maar krijg er geen normale filmpjes in,tussen de foto's:(.

    kan je me uittleggen hoe?=)

    Groetjes

  • Hoe heet dat voorlaatste liedje?

    Prachtig gewoon weg!

  • Night Elf music - World Of Warcraft!

  • Heel mooi filmpje!!

    Lotte en Babba:D

  • That is not natural horsemanship. Its traditional cruelty. Its where horses are treated like mindless puppets. Why are you even watching this????? Oh and by the way some of the most famous riders use parelli. How would you feel having one of those bits in your mouth?? Wouldn't feel good would it? How about being beaten every time you do something wrong in a different language?? I am sure that would feel great! Oh and incase you haven't noticed horses are a living creature!

  • I agree. At first I thought you where talking about the clip, haha, I already thought; bits? Where the *** do you see them? :')

Why does everyone think that you need a bit to control your horse? That you need painfull equipment to make your horse a .. well, SLAVE? 0.o

  • Rope halters arent actually that different. Using a chain may just cause the horse pain and it would behave out of fear. And thats not what people want surely?!?!?!

  • a bit is? No, if a horse will flee no peace of metal in his mouth will stop him. Its between your ears that a bit is better dan bitless..

  • Agree!!

  • Zo Goed <3

  • My favorite video ever!

  • Echt supermooi!!!

  • Mooi gemaakt! 5*

Natuurlijk leuk dat jullie zo werken met paarden, al doe ik het zelf niet.

Maar heel mooi met de muziek en andere beelden in elkaar gezet.

Met welk programma maak je dit filmpje?
