Really quite impressed. I don't have Phone 7 yet (I've just ordered an Omnia 7 though, so I'll have it soon), so I'm only going by what people have said and what I've seen of it, but it seems a far more integrated and user-friendly OS than Android and iOS. Although I have to say thatI think that 3rd-party multi-tasking and custom ringtones should have been part of the original release...

Whatever the outcome, I'm sure WP7'll beat my current four-year old k800i any day...

Apple was the best when they initially launched iPhone but have recently lost their touch. They are no longer the same innovative Apple they once were. MS has done it at last. I really quite like Mango. A few weeks ago I sold my iPhone and got a wp7. Sure enough, there are a few things that are a bit annoying (like trying to search for a karaoke bar in Maps and ending up with a town in madagascar ... wait, what?) but these are mostly minor issues. And the Mango announcements really confirmed my decision for wp7. Hopefully, whatsapp will come, too ;) And ... please, do bring Joe Belfiore back. :)

A suggestion to Microsoft: market the phone strongly to women. People centric, easy to use, fully integrated experience. It's definitely the phone to strike that target. Do not remain stuck to the professional and nerd market. Office, XBox are cool for guys and professionals. But those are (saturated) niches. Women are half of the population! Love the simple and straight-forward metro UI. Love how features of traditional third party apps such as music detection, barcode scanning, mapping etc is built right into the phone. Keep the features coming. Hope to see the metro UI in Windows 8.

I see some hiccups for the demo. The HTML5 is too much for the browser to handle? The deep link for booking the concert ticket when open Best Buy is not working as it is showing the TV again? They should have demo how threaded emails look like and what's more for multiple emails account in a single tile.

Only shortcoming for me is that it doesn't integrate with Google services such as Picasa using the built in pictures hub ex.

Where is the landscape support? Ability to use as a USB drive? Local USB Outlook sync? Teathering via USB or wi-fi? My Windows Mobile 6.5 phone can do all of these things and WP7 can not! Windows Phone 7 is a step backwards in core functionality for my usage until all of these can be fixed. #fail
