all that stuff that you said appeared, and the fridge.. theyre random events. so that place... next to rockopolis is a static spawn for the events.... if you save outside it and keep walking into the "plaza" youll eventually get the legendary alien explosion and you can get the blaster and ammo.

@ZodiarkSavior Its fine all you gotta do is go back to meresti trainyard with dogmeat (if you dont have him find him in the old scrapyard or look up a video) then go to the area you saw the explosion and tell him to look for a weapon eventually he'll find the firelance and give it to you. Same thing happened to me although i only heard the explosion and i randomly saw alien ammo all over the ground near tenpenny tower. make sure you stay near him so you dont lose him.

Indeed, they spawn randomly, but not near D.C itself. It's dangerous, cause a Deathclaw can spawn right at Vault 101 as you're leaving.

yea, i was playing yesterday (give it was 2:00 AM) i was tired about to hit the sack but i had a bunch of loot so i fast traveled to my tenpenny suite( yes i was a deuch and blew up megaton ^_^) and there was 2 deathclaws at the main gate!!! idk how the hell they spawned there but they did. i know that the metro tunnel by tenpenny (used to get to roy phillips) has a bunch of gouls with those blue pass cards and red ect. well there was a random firelance and a D-claw there as well.

Enclave officers have them. You can find the officers with small squads or with an eyebot and a deathclaw. Just kill the officer and take it.
