@SuperLightning123 final fantasy 7 was the first ff I beat and so has nonstalgic, important overtones, but everyone knows cloud's angsty personality sucks compared to bartz, tidus, and alot of other ff characters with better personalities. Mostly the supporting cast of ff7 makes it look better.

Don't expect the story to be "in-depth", they're made to have fun with other people, not an individual story. The only "MMORPG" which seems to be focusing on storyline is Guild Wars 2, which isn't even out yet, so until then, keep your judgement of MMORPG's out of Western and Japanese RPG's.

@AndroidPhone1 Skyrim/Fallout have no story? Lol. Try actually playing them without your delusional bias, as anyone with a brain cell can clearly see the time and effort put into the storyline. There may not be as much depth in any one particular storyline, but the fact that there's MULTIPLE stories is what makes it feel more life-like and less of a one sided game. Skyrim, in particular, has an extreme focus on these different storylines, they're not quickly slopped together.

I decided to pick up an play the game again, I've just obtained the air ship.

...And I have to say, the graphics are pretty amazing for a PS2 game. From a technical view it isn't as good as Shadow of the Colossus or Metal Gear Solid 3, but it is still the best from 2001 easily. The art design blows away any other game too.
