Very Cool... I have wanted to see this song put to images of Bette Davis for years. Usually these videos are laughable or poorly put together. You manage to give us images that highlite the song without being to repetitive in your selections. I have seen moves with Bette Davis but have never been a great fan. Ms. Davis, as you have captured, had a range of disturbing performances that make me glad I never ran in to her in person.

@ohnoyouaint I think it has to do with her mannerisms and her voice. Her character in All about Eve is a good example. Gay men may be into that, they like over the top and colourful and hands moving. Gays also like baby Jane, I don't understand the connection, but Joan Crawford also starred who was a big gay icon. I don't think Bette is that big of a gay icon though.

Bette and Joan weren't really rivals until they worked together on "... Baby Jane", which was filmed in the early 1960's. They'd each had extensive careers before that, and they didn't actually meet until they were onset for "... Baby Jane". Anyway, much of the rivalry was built up by the media. The didn't like eachother very much, but that was all. This mutual dislike was turned into a rivalry by reporters.

A lot people don't know that "Bette Davis Eyes" is only the song in chart history to hit #1 twice the same year. It enter the Hot 100 at #80 on March 28 1981 and reach #1 on May 16, 1981 for 5 weeks and then slipped to #2 and then return to #1 on July 4, 1981 for an additional 4 weeks. I don't think thats ever happen again.
