i really hope Shawn decides to go to London in 2012. She is my idol and role model so seeing her make it to the olympics again and claiming another gold medal would just make me so happy and proud
Shawn did not 'defend' her all-around title at Beijing-because she has never won an Olympic All Around before. She was the reigning 2007 WORLD All-Around Champion-and no one can take that away from her. Sure-she did not defend her World title in 2009-but perhaps she'll be back after some time off.

wow bro, id have to say that i no if she met you, she would fall in love with you because your so passionet for her. unlike most of the other guys here are so perverted about the gymnastics girls, you see, i met Courtney McCool of the athens games about 4 and a half years before the games and she changed my life. I respect Shawn so much what she does for gymnastics and in my opinion she embodies what a true athlete should be she won three silver medals still she smiles and congrats her competitors than the gold on the beam with a smile that lit up the entire stadium.
