I actually feel sorry for intelligent US Americans as they are forced to live in a country where most people still use an archaic nonsensical system of measurement which is only still used because of pure arrogance and because this old BRITISH system is somehow more patriotic to use.

I'm Irish and I can't comprehend why you think using measurements like kilometres is so difficult! 1km = 1000m whereas I just looked up what a "mile" is... 1609.344m??? How is that easier?

@Sabianstix85 English countries are arrogant, especially the USA. I love how asia and europe have way older cultures than the USA, but yet adopted the metric system so easily and the yanks make out that the imperial system is cultural.
