i remember playing against TSG when we were like 2100 rated and they were like 2600, and almost getting em the first time we ever played em... and then just getting stomped out every other time lol

TBH though, this TSG was r1 for US the whole season (which I think was s6), and was the first to basically run the comp at a 2.7k+ level, and all the players on the team now are high ranked as of today (except not sure about Veex, but he got glad on his warrior and lock). But w/e.

TSG is probably much harder to play than RMP the only time it takes less skill and i wouldn't even say less cos they sacrifice control for burst is against a priest healer.... What does RMP do? Lock down 1 dps, sheep the healer and it's like 1v3 . Not rly that hard beating someone 1v3

TSG is like shadow cleave, only in SC they go shadow fury,charge,mortal strike, bladestorm,GG. this is badly played since they attacked the priest in the first round,they should've gone for the mage like in the second,but RMP is much harder because u need very good team coordination,for the Blind, polymorph, PS,etc..TSG vs RMP- the warrior attacks the rogue,DK-mage,the priest won't be able to heal the mage,and the rogue will eventually die bc of the bleeds.

Just because a comp is good, doesn't mean it's easy to play. RMP certainly seems OP because it has so much control but it scales with skill because of that. So many teams overlap CC and show how it can be a HORRIBLE comp if played badly. When things are timed, burst and CC, the comp is at its best and it takes some ability & coordination to do that. TSG just farts on a target in comparison

@aTolkeinfan What's so hard for RMP to beat tsg??? It's an epic faceroll. Just sheep / Fear the paladin nova warrior and dk and lock down one of them with cheap/kidney/deep and burst him down. Melee play is always harder than Range play on higher level cos the lack of control melee classes get, also rogue is certenly the best melee dps in pvp hands down cos of the great control this class can do and also it has great survivability with the the prep talent and double use of every cd.

These tournaments would be a lot more interesting if the players were given random classes to play as and had a few minutes to improvise a strategy on the spot, instead of being allowed to play whatever the FOTM comp happens to be. Some classes & comps have inherent advantages over others and one or two comps always end up > than all others each season. That does not make for a good tournament.. to really be fair everyone should either be made to play the same comp, or be given a random comp.

Tip for SK as RMP vs cleave combo: Go warrior, make the paladin trinket as early as poss, time stuns as chains, disarm warrior, win... allso if the DK uses Lichborn u Shackle him at the same time as polymorphing on paladin <-- forces trinkets pretty much, when warrior uses Shield Wall u just make sure not to CC the paladin for DRs and just play defensive.. after Shield Wall is gone, put pressure on the warrior again and time all ur millions of CCs

It is usually, but live servers and the tournament games differ on the fact that tournaments use deadly gear.

TSG in live server gear is alot more effective.

Still, counter comps don't always win, RPM can turn the tables if played very very well.

@luide12345 because rogues have many defensive cd's they can just vanish while your dpsing him and that forces you to untarget him, esp if ur playing a rogue with almost 10-20ms latency a vanish can really give u enough time to throw a cheap shot on an attacking target, and their paladin will end up with 0 mana if they do not pressure the priest because the priest will mana burn the paladin and the mage will have more then enough time to cc 1 of the dps to peel it off the rogue,
