You hav no idea who the Gurkhas are and what they did 4 this country. They are fantical soldiers who serve our monarchy very well. I should know - I work wioth them daily.
To say that they have no rights to stay here when other commonwealth soldiers can is a disgrace.
It's simply crazy that the tax payer will bail out banks and bankers but not allow people who have fought for this country and died for this country. It's unacceptable. 50bn to bail out Northern Rock but not the 1bn to let these Gurkhas live here.
Did my ears deceive me, or did the one eyed Scottish idiot say we couldn't afford Gurkhas to live here? Over the last ten years labour have allowed thousands of illegal immigrants to stay here. All on full benefits. Gurkhas are honest , honorable and proud men. They have paid taxes, and will continue to contribute to our country. What Brown is worried about is, they probably wouldn't vote labour!
Isn't it nice to see a more subdued a sensible PMQs? British politics irratates me frequently, but when once a week the legislature of the UK descends into a rabble and senseless shouting match I feel embarssed that such an institution is allowed to make our laws. Coincedentally I don't feel that Gordon Brown came out of this exchange too badly, contrary to what your video description suggests. Having said that, the Gurkha situation is shocking, as was our use of them as cheap-rate soldiers.
Wow Money is worth so much more, than a life.

Brown is so out of step with the UK people it would be funny if it was not so sad. We need a real leader not this nob.

Gordon Brown is a dead man walking - the house is quiet because it is a foregone conclusion, there is little left to fight for.
