  • Absolutely phenomenal collection and music selection very appropriate! Fantastic work!

  • @sleepless1ca TYVM!

  • Deus e grandioso d mais !

  • why green ?

  • @iceman36143

green is for oxygen. Oxygen gives off green color when the suns partciles travel across the earths magnetic field.

  • Perfeito *-* Deus é realmente maravilhoso!

  • Which part of Canada are these photos of?I'm planning to go to Iqaluit in this December to see these lights, but the price is expensive. So it would be great if there's a cheaper location that I can consider without compromising the quality of light.

  • it's another sign of the end of the world. the sky is on fire and nobody can do anything about it. maybe it's time to stop polluting the earth and letting the gayness of Disney rule our imaginations. God help us all.

  • @bedwettingliberal you do realise this has been happening ever since the earth existed and has nothing to do with polution right?? its because the radiation from the sun hits the earth and from the angle at which it hits the earth it evcites particles in the atmosphere (namely the ionosphere) once the particles are excited they emmit light, different gases giving off different colours tha why you see green, red, blue, yellow, and orange

  • @guitartutorials482 Nice theory, but everybody knows it was caused by nuclear testing and landfills. I live really close to the equator, I think, in Illinois, and I see these lights over my town all the time. People come in from the countryside and they have auras from the landfills out there. It's time for Obama to practice what he breaches and put a stop to the auroras, and the auras.

  • @bedwettingliberal lmfaoooo you are actually retarded illinois isnt near the equator i live in the UK and know that and no it isnt caused by landfill how could it be caused by landfills?? and how could it be caused by nuclear testing when radioactive rays (alpha, beta, and gamma) are invisible to the naked eye?? you really need to brush up on your basic science, failing that google it dumbass

  • @guitartutorials482 Nice try, but I am immune to your British hypnotic techniques. Did you really think that just by quoting several Greek letters and the word "naked" you could con me into believing such a passle of rubbish? BTW, how did you know to go straight for Greek letters and "naked", the very words/topics I am most susceptible to?

...becoming afraid...your British hypnosis might be working after all...so...sleepy...starting to...believe it.

  • @bedwettingliberal so what you checked google?

  • Comment removed

  • @bedwettingliberal While they're Greek letters, they're also types of radiation. He is right; radiation is invisble and cannot be seen with the naked eye. Do you not know what naked means? It doesn't always mean nude. In that context naked means without help or the eye by itself. Just because you're a rambling fool doesn't mean everyone has to be. This isn't even advanced science; these are very simple concepts that you are choosing to ignore at your own intellectual expense.

  • @CptSchmidt Careful, careful. At some point the satire becomes so blatant that he who is taken in by it might start to look like the ignorant or unsophisticated one. All my posts are well past that point.

  • *WARNING*

    Prepare for Smooth Jazz

  • Please tell me what kind of music is it !!!! I love it !!!!

  • Tina tonight I saw them in Tennessee irl( in real life ) beautiful amazing

  • @nagato123ful Wonderful - what colors and patterns can you describe?

  • @GloVermont2 i saw them in pennsyltucky back in 02 , they were straight up and down columns of light purple blue to redish orange pulsing upward from the nothern horizon to the middle of the sky..i was by myself and couldnt believe it ..thought maybe only i was seeing it but turns out so did many more...

  • I wish I could come to Alaska, to experience Aurora borealis!

  • @tina123470 It's not like it happens every day, it's still rare and unique :D I liked there for 14 years and only experienced it 3 times :P

  • really love the show Nature presents, love your video of it; i am wanting to know about all the wild colours one sees, are they produced w' filters? is there really cosmic far out colours like this i heard there are in outer space: or is it edited--it seems that many are untouched, so what is the deal? i saw NL in 70's & 80's big blues-pale greens-silvers; nothing like what i included in my own piece; real curious to know this if you do? do you have any real time footage i hope to get some*

  • whats the music ??? its pretty cool too

  • Was just out photographing the lights a few minutes ago but my shots just not as spectacular as yours .maybe i;m not far enough north and they were not as bright as they could be.Maybe I;ll have better luck tommorrow night.

  • this year som strange shit hapened. i saw the polar light in my town but i thout its inposible hear. my town is next to russia

  • Yes, looks very well but are very toxic. This little particles from the sun can burn your skin or you can get other disease so no mather how beautiful they are .

  • Just love this video! Thanks!

  • Cool - glad you enjoy it.

  • Your video is wonderful, thank you for sharing. :-)

  • TYVM for watching etc... I'm visiting your channel today.

  • I took in a dog sled expedition last winter in Yellowknife and we stayed an overnight at a cabin off a lake outside the city. The experience was very beautiful and the northern lights display was awesome! Dog Sledding AND Northern Lights... exceptional and highly recomended! :-D

  • I've actually seen the Aurora twice in Norway.....it's the most stunning, impressive , amazing sight one ca ever get to see. Tks for posting it

  • Awesome! Thank you for sharing your experiences in Norway. I understand that Norway is perhaps the most spectacular place to view the spectacle from. Lucky you classicallady!

  • Actually Aurora Borealis

  • amazing i hope one day i will get to see them

  • is it possibal to see the northern light in the late summer? because i was hoping to see the midnight sun in the northern lights all in one big trip to the arctic circle next year with my brothers =)

  • My research indicates that it would be extremely unlikely to observe the northen lights in the arctic circle area during summer.

The Arctic Circle also marks the approximate southern boundary of the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis which can be observed on clear winter nights.

  • what about the fall is that a good time i heard thats a great time to see the northern lights im wanting to travel all the way up to beaufort sea to the top of canada and alaska if possibal it doesnt matter if we have to skip around to different places

  • In fact it is possible to see northern lights displays anytime of year. It's simply less likely to see them in that part of the world outside of winter. I think it's reasonable that you may just see some along the way.

Alaska boasts displays in summer. Especially late August.

    Happy trails :)

  • very good.. I haven't seen them yet and hope I do..

  • You will.

  • hope someday

  • I live in toronto? where in Canada do you see the northern lights? and what time of the year? thanks!!

  • While the northern lights can be seen year round in Canada, they are best viewed in fall and winter when the nights are longer. The aurora borealis appear frequently at the more northern latitudes of Canada, however they regularly appear north of the ~53rd parallel as well. Escorted tours to view the aurora borealis are available from several northern communities, such as Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Fort Simpson, Muncho Lake, Flin Flon and Churchill.

  • Beautiful! I added it to my play list! (one of them) I saw the Aurora Borealis several times in the 80's in Vermont.

I would love to project this video on the tipi. My cover is white, not painted and it would look so good at night! Earl could watch too from his pasture.

Wonderful job on the video! Thanks so much for posting it,

    Patty

  • Hey Patty - TYVM.

In 2003 we saw a Northern Lights show right here in Glover.

  • Beautiful!

    Nice colors and music.

  • Ty for your kind comment.
