Home defense is not guns it is keep the bad people outside long enough for you to call the cops and for them to get there (50 minutes). That also mean when you are not there. So you don’t have to shoot them and have nightmares the rest of your life. Only after you set up you first, second, and third line of defense do you worry about a stupid gun. But do get a stupid gun so you can shoot the bad people if the cops don’t show un in the 50 minutes.
Well if you did not live in cracker box he would not have need to get the gun. I am glad he knew how. No one will kick your door or your windows in two seconds if it is build the right way it will take hr. It seems Most people buy cracker boxes even if they paid half a million for it.
I don't agree with most american laws/sentences, but being able to shoot someone who breaks into your house is a good one! in england, if someone breaks into my house I'm expected to hand my stuff over and pretty much make them a drink while they wait for the get away vehical... anything i do besides that will land me in court
@omnissient - you MUST knock to be invited in; failure to do so will result in a very nasty response. I had a German Sheperd, which I trained and he nailed a guy in the crotch for NOT knocking before entering. Don't enter unless invited - if not invited LEAVE immediately. Maybe you should make an appointment.
@grapefruitm00n Not just should...You DO have the right to shoot them. Once somebody steps into your house you pretty much own their life to do with as you see fit.
@jlf2032 Well it depends how its done, if you shoot em in the back as they run away that's murder, if they come at you its self defense. Plus even if a state says something, its up to that local department to file the charges at their discretion, which in most cases doesn't happen.
@pac6010 Yeah. In Florida where I live, the cops aren't going to do anything if you shoot an intruder. They don't even have to come at me or be armed, or anything. They just have to be in your house, or trying to get in, and I could shoot them point blank in the face with a 12 gauge.
