i see that some programs aren't compatible with MAndriva Linux (i am new on Linux) / how can i delete folders ? & hou can i copy a folder from a partition intoo another ?

THEJERICO246 I THINK U HAVE TO GET COMPIZ FUSION THEN DO CTRL AND ALT AND THEN HOLD LEFT CLICK IN THEN MOVE THE MOUSE TO THE LEFT

Ubuntu is....crap....to say the least :P. im not a linux fan but i saw this one on campus today and am getting it as a second OS for my laptop :D.
Ps. I tried ubuntu, and got rid of it within a day

can you tel me whats the difference between mandriva 2008 and ubuntu? Im not a gamer, i like to just surf the net, but im looking for an OS that gives good eye candy.

ubuntu is more user friendly. He is an ideal OS for the first use of linux. The graphic component is equal. :D
