Hey guys....PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the "UNDER OUR SKIN" documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won't be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. OPRAH needs to hear about YOUR experience with Lyme disease. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !

I had three Internal Med doctors tell me there is no such thing as chronic lyme disease. After 4 weeks of doxycycline and your cured. BS. I can tell you that it isnt always cured and doctors lie about the disease itself. One of my doctors was a young female and when she told me that chronic lyme doesnt exist, she gave me the same look my wife gives me when I ask her if she bought anything at the mall! She's lying to my face and I want to know why?

According to ILADS, a bullseye rash is diagnostic of Lyme disease in and of itself (no blood tests were necessary in this case). Also, ticks are active all year round when the temperature is over about 40 degrees F...not just in spring and summer, and not just in rural areas. And many cases of Lyme do not present with these "classic" symptoms. For more info about Lyme go to ILADS(dot)org.
