@robokopo To easy, way to easy, it's a great song and Anthony heard that, and there are many more examples like that nowadays, if you had a good ear for music you would know that many pop songs have great compositions, you're just being pro-Anthony to be "out of the box" funny thing is it's puts you right there.

It's like going back 40 years and calling Otis Redding cheap and than now you say: "ooh he is so wonderful", I'm not a big Beyonce fan neither, but she's a great performer, period.

Both of the performances are great - they both sing with great emotion, but Antony sings with a different type of passion. Beyonce's is a lot more frantic, but it's still emotional.

And obviously Antony liked (if not loved) Beyonce's version. No need to be so hateful.

It is not generic, it is in no need of being explained, it's just plain expression of core emotions. He really touches many people's souls whit his music, not because he sells good or has contributed to a genre in a certain way. A good example of how the power of interpretation is so much more important than the song itself. Beyonce is an artist that leaves me totally indifferent and I did not even now the original before.
