  • Involuntary expansion...transcend...one possesses these rare qualities, although one must wake up the soul to fully comprehend ones potential...

  • DOWNLOAD LINK. I NEED. O^O

  • @Nayru41 Youtube to MP3 it like everyone else does

  • @heystupidopenthedoor Oh... How exactly do you do that?? ^o^;; (I know I'm an idiot when it comes to computers...)

  • @Nayru41 go to youtube - mp3 . org

  • @heystupidopenthedoor Yokay! Gracias! :D

  • Sorta wish this theme had been a remix of Song of Time =P

  • Theory/Spoilers:

Heroes get their hands on the Triforce: Wish for Demise's Death => Wish gets granted.

Ghirahim goes back in time and sets Demise free, thus allowing Ganondorf to take physical form. => Alternate timeline opens akin to Back to the Future, and the time-path where Demise is defeated never sees Zelda or Link again.

Altered timeline in which Ghirahim frees Demise becomes the timeline in which the Zelda games unfold.

  • I love this music in the game.. it's beautiful

  • nice music

  • I just replace tube by repeat (in the URL) every single time I develop the muscle in order to think I could become a hero. And I will.

  • i have a better way to get into temple of hylia ITS JUST TAKE A TIMESHIFT ORB INTO IT SH*T NOT KUST GET YOURSELF KILLED A MILLION TIMES FOR THIS F*CKING SACRED FLAMES

  • @counterkill3900 The orbs don't actually show the past, but what it was like in the past, you you still stays in the present.

  • groose so deserves a reward for being helpful

anything but something to ruin zelda and link (ZELINK)

  • I felt bad for Groose. But i felt better knowing he accepted he wasn't going to save zelda. instead he HELPED save zelda.

  • When this plays at the of the game.....wow.....

  • Ok before anybody gets pissed I want to say that I fucking loved skyward sword and it is a 10/10 game for sure, but about Groose...

    >>dick at beginning of game

    >>sees Link fight The Imprisoned and decides he's useless

    >>next time you see him, he's all like "OH HAI LINK I BUILT DA RAILROAD AND IMA STAY HERE WITH GRANNIE BECAUSE I'M NOW SUPER MATURE

Skyward Sword players: GROOSE'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS AMAZING OMG OMG OMG

  • Comment removed

  • @ComboLeafster that's kinda how it was with Luke at Tales of the Abyss, I think it's positively possible, but that's me.

  • @ComboLeafster In what way can one's character development get better?

To me I loved it because it was a natural development from being a douchebag to understanding what's really important and growing up. How can it possibly get any better? Just curious so give examples if you can.

And if you summarize things the way you just did everything can seem pathetic and meaningless. It's not cool in anyway imo.

  • @Deffpoised I love Groose, but I think that if you saw him more it would've been better instead of him just becoming... a pal

  • @ComboLeafster I think you're oversimplifying things - there's more events in the Legend of Groose. - Dick at beginning of game - Zelda falls to surface, Groose falls into despair - Blames it on Link and won't leave his room - Makes up mind to go to surface and dives after Link - Surface changes his idea of the world - Is told he is not destined to be the hero - Sees Link fight the Imprisoned and decides he's useless - Gains new respect for LInk - Inspired by Impa to play a role - Groosenator
  • @ComboLeafster I thought it was much more expressive than that, you make it sound like nintendo threw the story together at the last minute.

  • @TheBiggamer64 I didn't mean to, I know I was oversimplifying it a little, and I love Groose and I love the game and I love Zelda etc. but I get kind of annoyed by people sucking Nintendo's dick more than they need to in order to make themselves feel more emotional/sentimental about the game.

  • @ComboLeafster dude what do you expect? It may seem irritating but people grew up with nintendo. What makes you think they'd stop loving their games with a passion anymore than they were as kids? It has nothing to do with "sucking nintendos dick." Do you think people are stupid? Whats wrong with having a passion for a series and getting into the characters as though they were real?

  • @TheBiggamer64 I grew up with just nintendo too, and there's nothing wrong with a passion for the series, I have a huge passion for the series, it's just that people are exaggerating the emotions in order to make themselves feel more damn emotional about the game

  • @ComboLeafster he is likble that way. i like gaston a lot, bechose he is so lovable asshole.

  • @ComboLeafster I agree. When Link battle the Imprisoned, Groose knew Link was no longer a wimp and what he really was a hero. As for himself, he was wrong and Groose had helped Link afterwards like he is a friend to him. If it weren't for him, we would of never defeated the Imprisoned by now.

  • @ComboLeafster I feel the same way about Fi. She spends the entire game living the life of a robot then at the last possible moment she discovers emotions... and then we kill her.

  • anyone else think the gate of time was EXTREMELY trippy?

  • I cry when I hear this song

  • @ChaosChicken200 It's understandable she would be formal, she had just regained all of her memories of being Hylia in her previous forms, and what with her being THE goddess, she couldn't exactly take it lightly.

But I do get we're you're coming from though. She did appear slightly cold towards Link in that scene, considering she had known him since her childhood. -shrugs- Oh well.

  • This is such a simple song, yet its the simplest of songs such as this that truly has indescribable power. Beneath the surface, you can see a world of hurt, yet the means and hope necessary to dispel it; both in-game and relativity to real life. Another Zelda song that reminds me why I love the series as much as I do. Thank you, Nintendo, for the new tears shed for this game. Even now, this brings tears to my eyes.

  • This music gives me so much hope...even in the worst of times. Gotta love Skyward Sword!

  • There is so much wonderful music in this game but this piece in particular is absolutely sublime.

  • Why do some people hate Fi? SHE'S AWESOME!

  • @BlueDragon507 i think that too, i dont really like midna....

  • @ACMilanW960i It's not that I don't like midna I like her but tome Fi was 10x better! Because something like hr had not been done befor. An emtionles robot-like characer...I LOVE IT! =D

  • @BlueDragon507 casue people just like to hate hate hate. I know, I love her too.

  • @TheBiggamer64 Haters otta hate hate hate! DOn't now why towards Fi though....Th can just go and pla their COD..=) and we can enjoy this msterpiece! =D

  • @BlueDragon507 exactly

  • @BlueDragon507 She's really awesome, but sometimes she is a bit annoying, and she states the obvious.

  • At first when I beat this game, I was unimpressed at the character development, but listening to this now has changed my view.. there's so much emotion put into it. But the characters ending didn't impress me as much as midna's goodbye in twilight princess. Idk, I guess I'm more connected to that game more. But this piece is amazing!

  • I'm so glad I found this--it's probably my favorite track in the entire game. They did such a great job getting that overwhelmed feeling with this subtle march. It's really got that feeling of 'it's so much, but I have to do it.' Makes you really feel for/relate to what Link's feeling at that moment.

  • @LSelkiegal that is a brilliant way of interpreting this music. <3

  • "Zelda, wait for me ... I just have to find three flames. Then, i´ll be there. I promise!"

  • This game did have some amazing characters like Groose, Ghirahim, Impa, but I found Fi to be a major super utterly terrible disappointment. You go from Midna to Fi lol!

  • @LordVerdo Yea, Fi felt like a huge downgrade in partners after Midna.

  • @tehsourmango Yeah we need a partner with a personality.

  • Am I the only one who liked Zelda more when she didn't yet know she was the living embodiment of the Goddess?

She wa sso much happier when she didn't know. She got too serious when she found out about it. She did not show many emotions and only talked in a formal way. I didn't like it. As if she represented a child before and after a war.

This story has partly ruined her character. To me, that is.

  • @ChaosChicken200 well, no emotions? Well in the cutscene when she seals herself away, she was CLEARLY sad.

  • @bouchandre Indeed, she was. That's all, sadness.

  • @ChaosChicken200 sadness is an emotion i believe :( something i felt when i finished the game :(

  • @haribo41296 i think Fi was really "whatever" through the game, in personality she will never be like Midna or Talt. But when She's sealed you really feel the sadness, like you was saying goodbye to a good and dearly friend. This game is a master piece in story, you really feel connected with all the characters.

  • @ChaosChicken200 So you dislike that she matured? lolwut.

  • @dddddd4236 I did, yes. If that is her being a real woman, when she shows little emotion and can't smile even once, then yes.

If you can not understand that, then why do you even respond -.-

  • @ChaosChicken200 kinda in wind waker when tetra is a total jerk to the entire game but when she finds out she's zelda she gets all serios and nice lol

  • @VideoGamez11 Indeed. Tetra's personality was far more enjoyable, BUT her Zelda character was still pretty reasonable. I mean, she still wasn't as formal as SS' Zelda.

  • @ChaosChicken200 that's right dude, The girl Zelda was in the beginning is adorable, she makes you love her like it's supose Link does. But in the Epilogue you can see she's her original self again, when she invites Link to stay in the surface with her.

  • @RyusukeAkami That indeed is true. But the thing is, SS' Zelda seemed so different when I first played the game. Even when I encountered her at the Ancient Spring and the Gate of Time, she seemed to be still that nice little girl.

But then I was allowed to talk to her in the Sealed Grounds. She was so formal, her eyes only represented sadness and she talked in a way which I found far too annoying to be true.

It is my opinion, that is all.

  • Am I late?

  • it's amazing how something like a video game or a sountrack can really hit you more than alot of things in real life.

  • If a game can make you cry, you know its a great game ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @MyBebopBlues or a really bad game??

  • @jaxkel22

Lol true true but not a Zelda game!

  • God I can't listen to this one anymore...it just breaks my heart.

  • I love how this song mimics the ticking of a clock

  • This game will be remembered forever.

  • this legend of zelda game is one of my favourites. it truly is an amazing game and the way everything fits together is so brilliant! the game play is brilliant, the collecting spoils and bugs is fun, collecting all of the gratitude crystals for batreaux is fascinating, and the whole story is so emotional in every possible way. congratulations nintendo, you truly did create the best legend of zelda game yet!

  • @madsoniczelda13 don't forget the Goddess Cubes

  • @TheBiggamer64 well, at least Fi's dowsing ability comes in use when searching for gratitude crystals.

  • @madsoniczelda13 and Goddess cubes and treasure and hearts.

  • The first i heard the music, i almost cry... It's just so beautiful. Nintendo we love you ! I'll save zelda !

  • This game is a rollercoaster of emotions. It's sad above all. I cried at least twice. The satisfaction of the ending credits rolling is the most emotionally overwhelming experience I have ever had playing a videogame. This game is a masterpiece, and proves that Nintendo is still the best developer of them all. The music and storytelling in this game is above most motion pictures. It's pure magic.

  • This song is so depressing. It maintains the same depressing melody, and only adds and adds more instruments, the song sinking deeper and deeper... Jeez, Zelda, where's mah Saria's Song, life isn't supposed to include sad tunes.

  • @dx619hey Actually, I find this tune to be uplifting, but that's just me. But I do agree that this game has it's emotional moments. ^_^

  • @MynameisP57 Yeah? I dunno, P57, but I was pretty sad while listening to this on youtube. I can't remember how I felt with it during the game though. I think it I didn't feel anything while playing, but maybe because I was sad, it just intensified the sadness, over time!!! Eh, so were you feeling uplifting while listening to this?

  • @dx619hey

Uh yes that can work also lol

  • @dx619hey Well, I guess the same thing could be said for most Zelda songs. But, actually, I was kind of tearing up when I discovered that I could FINALLY meet Zelda after all the things I've been through at this point of the game. It could be the "snare drums of triumph" that made me think of the word "uplifting," but two each his own, right? xD

  • @MynameisP57 Yeah, I re listened in a better mood, and thought the snare drums felt triumphant as well.

  • I actually felt worse for Groose here than Zelda. Talk about swallowing pride and really sort of accepting what a little twerp people like him (and the rest of us) really are in this world. It's always harder for those who of us who are the biggest dickbags. Adjustment is a blunt instrument and the world uses it liberally on such people.

  • @Jinggley thats a bold statement. I completely agree.

  • Nintendo doesnt realize that they didnt just make a game, they made a game that will be played and remembered for years to come. they made a classic legend.

  • I'm cried ///_O,

  • Must. Find. Sheet music.

  • @sunnyydelight18 me too. please pm me if you find any for this and I will do the same when/if I find it. thanks.

  • @Technito20 Sure thing.

  • sense of duty in this music :)

  • @Nenie It's the drumroll. Makes me think of soldiers. LOL!

  • i cry with this song!!!

  • tear up listening to this cause it reminds me of that cut scene with Link and Zelda before Zelda seals herself away......

  • @olivethemonkey me too man .

  • Its funny how you see throughout the game how all the characters develop and mature. I mean, earlier on, I was comparing Zelda at the start to when Link first went through the gate of time. And even Groose! He irritated me initially but now he's grown on me, he especially matured. With Skyward Sword I felt you could just connect with the characters, and feel their happiness and unhappiness when they did.

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy "The Legend of Groose, mature? Give me a break :P.

  • @AlphaRamo Alright. That may have been A, slight, exaggeration XD I just really ment his personaility towards Link nearing the end.

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy Yeah I got what you mean, but I had to get that out xD.

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy Yeah i feel the same...and i feel like one of the only other characters they ever gave depth into in another game was midna from twilight princess....but other than that, you can actually connect with the characters of this game. And yeah I really hated groose at first but now he's sweet.

  • @MapleAndAnimeCrazy shut up man..it's a game

  • @kiwi649 you shut up. He can say what ever he wants. He's right. The characters in this game are amazing. I feel sorry for you for not realizing that.

  • @kiwi649 I have my own opinion, you have yours. It may just be a game to you, but doesn't mean anyone else can't think differently.

  • I love the rest of the series as much as everyone else, but I was so impressed with Skyward Sword. This was the one time I actually felt connected to the characters. I cried during the (one-sided) conversation between Zelda and Link, and when she asked him to wake her up for once. I love the other games, but Skyward Sword made a huge impression on me. It was amazing.

  • This song means so much to me. It makes me reflect on everything and makes me remember fond memories. Skyward sword has become a part of me now, i just connected with all the characters. Love this.

  • everytime I hear this I miss a close friend of mine...

  • Man this game is incredible....I've never felt so sad and happy at the same time while playing a game. This is so worth it.

  • Actually my favorite song on the whole game. Thank you for posting it, i spent a long time looking for it:)

  • I just got to this part yesterday and all I can say is wow. Skyward Sword just keeps getting better and better. One minute I'm laughing my ass off as Groose attempts to catch me skydiving, the next I'm fighting off a huge monster, the next I'm accepting my destiny as a savoir, as well as shedding a few tears for Groose. I haven't been this into a game since I first played OoT.

  • FINALLY I found this song. I've been searching all over youtube for it. It's my favorite out of the whole game.

  • @SincerelyKenzie I was specifically looking for this one as well, and the first video I chose was this one. haha!! Looks like I have a good judgment in finding a song based off a title. :P

  • Groose scene = tears ...even if I do think Groose is the ancestor of Ganon. Either way, I dug Groose and he made me all emotional.

  • @cimetiere that cant be posisble, because groose would have to be able to get laid...

  • i teared up but my mom was watching me play so i didnt, but man oh man did i want to

  • @SouthParkPerson012 haha same for me. this game gave me so many feels that i teared up on multiple parts. this game is so awesome i can't even explain.

  • I think I might have cried... when I saw one of those scenes.

  • I hummed Groose's theme along with this song, and the two lined up perfectly. Wonder how much of that is intentional, and how much of that is just because songs tend to do that sort of thing.

It really does go with anything.

  • This makes me feel sad. I miss Skyward Sword already. I hope the next Zelda game has an art style similar to this game.

  • Me and my friend: We did it! We can go get Zelda!

We go through the portal. She traps herself in the sleeping state. I stare at my friend.

    He yells, "BOB SAGGIT!"

  • yo llore con esta parte del caset =(

  • this is by far one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard. I just wish it were longer and had more to it, but otherwise, damn this is beautiful

  • Still kinda wishing they kept the good old Song of Time for the Gate.

  • Even though I loved Groose, I feel like the story should've had him get killed off. What I mean is, (SPOILER BELOW) remember the part where he tries to stop Ghirahim from taking Zelda? What if Groose actually got killed in the process by Ghirahim? and as he's lying there, big bad Groose did the most selfless act ever: Sacrifice, for a woman he loved.

As his breathing finally stops, this music is playing.

Then, Link goes into an angered frenzy and rushes Ghirahim full force.

  • @datsikjammer Oh man as much as I'd hate to see him die that would be so powerful. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.

  • @phazon0taste0nice dude me too, I'm choked up just thinking about it.

  • @datsikjammer I feel that Groose living was a good thing. Impa died, there didn't need to be two deaths. Plus who would help Link and Zelda build homes on the surface? Groose is a good builder! :D

  • @datsikjammer no if Groose died like that I'd have such hate for Ghirahim. And I like him as a character

  • When I heard this song the first time, it immediately became my favorite song in a video game ever. This is perfection.

  • the intro reminds me of the ticking of a clock... "The flow of time is always cruel... Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days. It is something that grows over time, a true friendship. A feeling in the heart that becomes stronger over time. Time passes, people move, like a river's flow, it never ends, a childish mind will turn to noble ambition, young love will become deep affection," Sheik/Zelda

  • I thought i was really sad when zelda has to go into her slumber for thousands of years and she ask link to wake her up:'(

  • this part was amazing:)

  • Yesss finally found this song. It's hard to find them when there are no lyrics.

  • i definitely cried during this scene. it's so beautiful.

  • @uboaful you're not alone made tear up as well

  • the most epic, emotional game i have ever played... i dunno what it is about zelda that just makes me attached to it, i love it :')

  • Best Soundtrack, best gameplay, best story, I am sorry but this is the best Zelda ever, this song made me shed a tear in one of the scenes

  • Did anyone else catch and/or think that the shape of "Grannie's" large red hat was Impa's timeless tribute to Groose for coming back in time to help out? I mean, it's the same shape of his hair. At least to me it looks like it. Am I the only one that caught the resemblance?

  • @ermiretrek I see your point. It's an intresting idea.

  • @ermiretrek Well done! I never thought of that was why her hat is so odd shaped!

  • @ermiretrek Very good, after reading your comment I feel like everyone should catch that but hardly anyone does, apparently (myself included)

  • @ermiretrek Or it could mean that the two are in the same bloodline, just generations apart.

  • @ermiretrek lol thats what I thought too :D

  • @ermiretrek i see what you mean. so shes gronnie

  • @ermiretrek OWWWW I thought I was crazy when I think that :'D you're totally right!!

  • If only I heard the gears turning.

  • Love this song. There's a slight melancholy in the melody that I can't get enough of.

  • When I told my older brother I cried while playing SS, he punched me in the shoulder and scolded me.

What he doesn't know is that a video game can be more emotional than a movie, because you play as those characters, you don't just watch them.

Funny thing is... he cried in that movie "Hotel for Dogs".

  • @thedivinity24136 And you've also grown up with those characters and to see how they came to be and where their origins took place is equally as engrossing and emotional.

  • @thedivinity24136

If someone punched me for crying at an appropriate time, I would probably retaliate with twice the force.

  • @KingdomheartsII Yes, well, unfortunately, my bro and I are pretty equal in punching strength. Then again... I'm three years younger, so that probably makes me the stronger.

  • @thedivinity24136 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!

  • The most exciting part about playing this game is that feeling you get when u walk into a new area or temple and you discover a new amazing song like this. Been a Zelda fan since i was born as well, and all my credit for being musically talented goes to them.

  • ... "Ah, forget about it."

  • Comment removed

  • WHO WAS THE MOTHERFUCKER THAT PRESS THE DISLIKE BUTTON?!?!?!

  • @Guii641 Demise :(

  • @Guii641 Gannodorf Because Groose has orange hair like him.

  • @Guii641 cod fan boy

  • I cry and I beg the Goddess to let me have my best friend back, my Zelda back. I trudge through unknown lands, battle terrifying evils, all in hope of finding her again. I weep as I realize that I still have so much farther to go. Then, iron determination, the goal in sight, the feeling of "I have to do this, this is my burden to bear and I must do this and I will do this" fills me. I have to do this for the people, it is my fate to hold the world on my shoulders. And I will do this. For Zelda.

  • The music in this game is like no other. They put feeling into every note. I really do love Zelda. It makes me feel like I myself are on an adventure. To everyone at Zelda thank you. I've been a zelda fan sense I was born, and have listened to alot of music---No music has ever made me feel so relaxed, but better yet happy.

  • Yessss!!! I finally found this song! (it was surprisingly difficult) :) Definitely my favourite piece in the game.

  • When this song came on while playing the game, i didn't do anything for 5 mins just so I could hear it :)

  • @aggieprinces Same here, and i started tearing up ;__;
