Some steam the leaves and sandwich between 2 pcs of bread with some jam I think :). One popular method is boiling a bunch of the leaves with some red dates and kei chi (wolfberries, the red small oval berries) for at least half an hour. Your kitchen with be filled with the fragrance of the herbs.
