You should read up on where the risks lie, how to avoid them, what steps need to be taken etc so that you are confident if something bad happens then its easy to deal with :) generally though its all pretty low risk :)

u put codes into a cheat coe manager on pc which ten go onto an SD card which goes into the wii...load the game through an app on the homebrew channel and then press the code combination during gameplaay to activiate or deactivate the cheat

you have to specifically use PAL codes like the ones in the description

codes from america or anywhere else wont work

if you are certain the codes your using are PAL codes then i would check the method of how your applying the codes to the game

are the codes in the right directory on your SD card?

did you boot through homebrew channel? etc

How Do You Enter The Codes ?

get the wii homebrew channel, get the homebrew software (cheat manager in other words) and put codes into the cheat manager on PC....it will generate a file.....put this file on your SD card in the right place and load your game through your homebrew software.......wiibrew(.)org explains it all

then this is a good indication of something wrong with ur SD card maybe? perhaps make sure the SD card isnt locked? by that i mean the little slidy thing on the side

yh i saw this a while ago as well....its called HDLC which stands for hacked downloadable content...when you asked i did some reasearch and it turns out its DLC made by people other than nintendo....everyone is saying its safe so it looks fine...i dont know much about getting it...couple of sites said that you have to visit someone who was HDLC over wifi and pick up the stuff so its in your catalog...but some others just said its easier to just restart your town and hack it yourself

and just so that i can catch up with how far you are: have u managed to generate the cheat code files?

do that and once you have your gct file put it on your SD card in the proper place, load game via homebrew channel with cheats and enjoy

you mean when you boot animal corssing using ocarina? do you have any cheat files in your SD card already? try booting from something else other than ocarina and the wii channel to see if this problem happens with other code managers

all this i provided is for the PAL version i was annoyed at the amount of american tutorials as well :)

any codemanager as long as they produce the cheat file if you have ocarina i would recommend that just becuase i have it as well :) you dont put the text files onto the sd card you use the codemanager on the pc to make a cheat file and you put this on the sd card which depending on your codemanager on the wii could be in different folders

u have to export your animal crossing save using a special tool(cant remember it but i remember you cant just copy it normally) then on your pcu mod the save using another tool(also cannot remember its name) and then load the save back into your wii....google for custom animal crossing town

put it on a SD card and the twilight hack(google it) after downloading and installing all of this on your wii you then get a cheat code manager...i have something called ocarina but any should do...put your text file into the cheat code manger to get you cheat file load all of this on your wii and your good

to open notepad goto start then run and type notepad.exe copy and paste the block of text in the video description from RUUP01 all the way down to (Press C+Up/C+Dwn Wiimote) then save it somewhere

then using a cheat code manager which you can find very easily with a google search convert your .txt file that you saved into you cheat file and you done...presuming you know how to get the cheats onto the wii ofcourse

well there is a money cheat i.e "max money in the bank" but i think if u dont earn the money then you dont appreciate it as much and therefor the game will likely become boring

to get the golden fishing rod you have to catch every fish in the game at least once. you might as well donate the fish you catch yo the muesuem to fill it up as well
