“Tea bagger” is a vulgarity that Obama uses to describe a white majority group. That uncivil vulgarity, especially by a President, factually makes Obama a racist. For example, if you were to use a similar vulgarity to describe Asians, you would be a racist too. And should the President use that vulgarity, he would tilt towards fascism. Check out the background have these people that work on Fox, non of them have studied journalism, they're basically what I call "news actors" with a very precise agenda, as a liberal I'll admit that MSNBC takes shit to far sometimes but at least they back their claims up with facts and not with "a lot of people say", MSNBC is a counter channel for Fox, if you want news and not just your opinion aired on TV, CNN is pretty much the closest you can get in non bias news.

Most racists in America are right-wingers, but not all right-wingers are racists. It's sad to pin it on them, but you will have a very difficult time finding a white left-winger who is racist. Maybe some black ones, yes, but I'm sure they are greatly outnumbered by the right-winger racists.

Marxism can be summed up in only a couple of phrases, "class struggle" and "victims vs. oppressors." Obama is clearly not interested in the ideas of Milton Friedman and Adam Smith.
However, racial Marxists, like Obama, use race and gender as proxies for the victimization class to promote economic envy, class warfare and racial hatred in order to facilitate their progressive redistribution schemes.

@islandmuffin I am well aware of "Marxism" and Keynesian economics as well as the views of Adam Smith and Milton Friedman. I'm an economics major at a top level university in the U.S. and I just spent a good chunk of last semester learning about the economics and politics of the Soviet Union. Obama is nothing like those so called Marxists. He is what's called a pseudo-socialist. Most societies that follow such economic views as this economically thrive.

The most important aspect of a free market is private ownership, with absolute control over your property.

@TBAL285 Excessive spending (by Bush first and then exponentially increased by Obama) along with Government distorting and interfering with the housing market facilitated the recession.
Government agencies and programs like Fannie, Freddie, the CRA, and the Fed all contributed to the housing bubble.
Government did it! Obama has made things far worse, and has possibly destroyed the USA with s Keynesian deficit spending.

2nd they may have added 2 the problem, but not very much and very late and the reason they contributed was because they were only quasi-governmental so were able to have a government guarantee but still fight for a market-share, which makes competitors out of the rest of the private sector thus not helping the economy
3rd the spending actually saved the economy just like it did in WWII

Obama's dogma is based on the principle of conducting business in a responsible way (something Republicans are bad at) and protecting the US from threats both foreign (something the US is great at) and domestic (something we are not so great at but we are improving).

I don't know about you but I'm an economics student attending a pretty prestigious school (I'll be a senior this year and I'm going for my MS in Finance right after) so I think I may just know a thing or two about economics (especially macro/international economics which happens to by my focus. I'm not a huge fan of the micro stuff; it's boring and not very useful for the field I intend to go into). Thanks!
