Live is likely very hard fo rhim. He has stated that he has Asperger's Syndrome ( a form of Autism ) which makes social interaction very very uncomfortable.

Especially when there is a lot of pressure involved. So really, his drug issues and discomfort live is no shock.

Still a very talented musician. No surprise, as most people with Asperger's also tend to be ecxeedignly smart and focused.

I know people have compared Travis to Jim Morrison ever since DOTN's debut, but now that he's got the beard and the kind of harsher vocals workin' he really reminds me of Jim during the Doors' blues days. Really awesome!
