The largest Tank Battle ever took place in Ukraine during WWII. The battle of Kiev. It is true that Ukraine has been hit by this financial crisis though just like the U.S. The seasonal flu vaccine was available there but they ran out. The Swine Flu Vaccine was not available.

Barclays BAnk London,Hackney has had longer and longer queues during the past two weeks. After queuing for over half an hour the cashier, there were only two on duty, began to survey me for interest in insurance. I would say that they are trying to slow the business at the counter. I just received a call from my wife telling me that in Whitechapel at 6:30pm sh saw a great queue out of the door onto the street and the staff seemed to be making efforts to control people.

Still a puzzle what was happening At BArclays Whitechapel Rd. There was a mass of activity in and around the bank when it should have been closed an hour earlier: 5:30pm. My local branch was training a new cashier today so there were three windows open. Sometimes there are about fifty people queuing in the bank with only two cashiers on duty and they will detain customers at the counter with questions about personal financial arrangements.

It almost did collapse.
The finance minister of my country, Finland, said that the European Union was on the brink of a complete collapse on the 8th of October last fall. But that we averted the disaster by issuing the stimulus packages and bank bailouts.
This however has just postponed the problem and as far as I see it, we haven't changed our course.
The US also bailed out many European banks, such as Deutsche Bank, btw.

Just to make it clear, while I don't forsee a collapse at this time, I do anticipate a bursting of the current bubble. The runup since March has been too fast. This plays into a theory I have about 401K plans. 401K plans created the runup of the 80's and 90's and the subsequent bubbles including this one that started in March. Watch for people to pull out of 401k plans as their accounts hit around 80-85% of the 2007 peak. Dow 11,800-11,900 then pop. You only get one second chance, right?

I have to say I agree - Cliff made it sound like Oct 25 was HUGE for SEVERAL months he talked about it - then as it drew near it was no no 10 days starting 10/25, now its no no a turning point or whatever. He is now fitting headlines into the prediction; he made it seem like the whole world would know by the end of the week what happened - uh well, its the next week and there is nothing you can point to. i have alot of respect for FeverIAm and enjoy watching his videos but for anyone thinking a collapse is immanent you are sorely mistaken, government s will just keep on pumping in money until inflation starts to run rampant, this will probably happen next year some time, the jitters we are seeing right now are because volumes are low, the stock market is rising because banks are borrowing at almost zero percent and they have to stick it somewhere.

That is less than 0.005 percent of the US population.
Wake me up when Swine Flu gets to about half a million deaths in the US. That would still only be about 0.16 of the US population.
