Thanks for posting this. Unfortunately, decades of hardcore propaganda by the Chinese, and non-action by Japan has led many in the world to accept this fabricated massacre as "truth". The U.S. helped in this too by letting this pass @ the Tokyo war tribunal, to divert attention from the fact they massacred more civilians than any other nation in WWII (Except Germany) Only recently did the truth start going around, but too many still believe this fiction..

There's in fact declassified CCP documents in Taiwan that point out detailed instructions for the propaganda, including the utilization of bribed foreign journalists. There's an endlessly long list of evidence that disprove this "massacre", it's just a question of getting it out to counter emotional and ridiculously widely-distributed propagandas like "Rape of Nanking", which the Chinese is trying to push into Hollywood.

There was NO great massacre, if any massacre at all.

These officers would not be standing around in a hall smoking cigarettes and relaxing if they had to kill 300,000 people in several weeks.

If the Japanese considered the Chinese as such animals, it is bizarre that they would then honour the deaths of the fallen, both Chinese AND Japanese, with such a ceremony.

chinese historians aren't the only people who researched this event. and i'm not too sure about 300k.  possible overestimation. who knows
