シドニーなつかしい!I was there last summer~! Kinokuniya, too. My friend published a book and I bought it there. 僕の彼女はサイボーグって試写会でずーと前に見たなぁ(笑)Sorry it's been a while since last time, meanwhile you've updated some videos! I want to make new videos but I need to buy a new camera... :p
The first season of Gokusen is great. The second is okay, the third is.. well.. I didn't watch much of it. But to be honest, "Trick" is even better so if you are in the market for another Japanese drama that is my recommendation. It's like a mix of Scooby-Doo and The X-Files.. with Nakama Yukie. :)
Ahh, I want to go to a store like that! It's like all the awesome commodities of Japan concentrated into one building! :D
Maybe it's better to live appreciating the few special things you can get your hands on but for a short while to also live in a way where you can get them easily... if that makes sense. :\ Like, for me and many other people, the dream is to live in Japan. I experience it as many ways as I can back home. Now I'm in Japan for a year and realizing how good I had it back home.
I miss friends and family, of course, but the thing I miss the most is being able to communicate freely. It's usually not something Americans realize they take for granted, I guess, until they study abroad. I came here after only a year of formal Japanese classes, which was pretty silly. So, I feel like I'm struggling a lot more than my peers, who have been studying for years.
I hope you're able to do the exchange! :) How long did you live in Japan the last time?
If you're gonna live in WA you gotta focus on the good points or move east if you can't deal with the dullness and view that as the non-big-deal that it is.
What's a non-big-deal? Moving over east? I think that depends on the person. I have a very close family, so for me moving over east would be a big deal.
That said, it was much easier for me to accept the dullness of WA before I knew how much we were missing out on. So maybe I will end up over there one day.

Yep that makes sense! My dream would be to have a home in Japan and a home in Australia and the money to move between the two as I please.
I'm hoping to go for a year long university exchange in 2012. What do you miss about home the most?

I watched 僕の彼女はサイボーグ and it wasn't very good lol. So I'm glad to hear gokusen will be better! :)
I'm glad you liked the video, クローディアちゃんのためでした☆
And yeh, being able to go buy a magazine is much better than having to fly across the country or pay heaps of postage from Japan.

Hey, Thanks for filming.
You're exactly right in this reply. I shouldn't Perth-bash though, I have to live with it aswell. :)
