  • In Portland they announced after the concert that Seals & Crofts were coming out later to speak of the Bahá'í Faith, allowing anyone wanting to leave the stadium. Jimmie gave the most inspired eloquent talk. He said that the successive Prophets down through time were like the lights above, connected to the same power source. Their professional courage was staggering. Unique in music. And for Warner to allow for it on tour was unprecedented. But the message was universal to thousands waiting.

  • 'Bro Holler'? There's a prophet named 'Bro Holler'? OK! I'll play along. What's up? Back at cha Bro. Wait a minute. Isn't this about how Jesus came back to Earth already (unannounced and unnoticed) without a peep? The Bible says'; that EVERY EYE WOULD SEE HIS SECOND COMING? OK,,,then. So Jesus came back secretly and resides in the body of Brohollah (or however you spell the guys name?) Do you know a bunch of people risk their souls and actually believe this? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @FacetsOfTruth

Risk their "soul"?you act as if though a "soul" is of the body.

I was never informed of a organ called "soul" ,Nor did I know that a physical part of the body can be damage by having an opinion that differs from yours.

hmmmm you know what. From your post i can see that you are most likely an internet troll (the post is to openly ignorant to be real), or a victim of a cancerous mind set called religion. For our sake i hope your a troll. if you not a troll then... *face palm*

  • This is still the friggin' jam!

  • Individually, they have great voices........ together, they make magic....... Thanks for posting, Albertan ........ I'm just discovering S&C .... who are of my mother's generation...... but then, they cross over to all generations which appreciate beautiful music.

  • Fabulous harmonics! Thanks for posting! A pleasure to listen to.

  • oh my thanks !!!

  • Born in 1981 here. My parents both blessed me with this music. As I grew older I listened and favored the Rap/Club/Metal stuff you even hear today. But, this music... this MUSIC right here, will never die. It will carry on, because I love it. And I may not have children, but, every child I come across I share this with them. Summer Breeze is by far my favorite work of theirs... but my parents and this era will forever live on.

  • you had to be one hell of a talented singer and musician to pull stuff like this off in the pre-computer era.........

  • A little spirituality, heart and musicality is what is missing today.

  • this is just smooth as silk . its very rare to find musicianship of this caliber in this day and age.

  • WOW does music get much better than this? What's happen 2 music of 2day. These guys take me back 2 my youth. And when I hear this song I go back to the best time of my life. • I went to an outdoor concert of Seals and Crofts, out in a wooded area, in the summer of 1975 or 1976 in Southern California. It was a small audience, beautiful day, butterflies floating by, and they played songs, Summer Breeze, and Hummingbird and other hits. I was in heaven... I'll never forget it!!!
