My rollersets were always suspect but looking at this vid and using ur method has helped me to perfect my rollersetting technique. it used to take me like an hour now i can do it in like 30 minutes. Thank u :)

  • Brilliant.

I love this Video, everything is very well explained.

    Thanks for the upload.

    Peace. xx

  • I really appreciate the video. I spend so much money getting my hair done. I bought a hard hat dryer and some equipment so I can save some money doing my hair at home. Thanks for not being stingy with your secret techniques. I am looking forward to applying your techniques at home :)

  • Thanks so much, this is a great video!

  • LoL! You are so cute!

I love how you had like 20029043812 parts to the tutorial so I can see EXACTLY what you did. I'ma try this tonight. Thanks!

  • Oh my god thats a good idea, thanks so much for that tip, i have the hardest time rolling my hair, i just gave up, but im gonna try this method, do you stop rolling your hair once you get a particular amount of newgrowth, or do you roll until your next relaxer no matter how far post you are, ie. 8 weeks post

  • Gurrl I am so glad you posted this video now instead of going to the hair salon, all the time I can do my own hair! Thank You!

  • Thank you for this tutorial! It was great! I will be trying this method next time I roller set my hair!!

  • :0)

  • Did you start with the big rollers first or the medium?

  • @BuildableBeauty get ready for my questions because i have a lot!!!

    I'm relaxed/texlaxed...

what shampoo and conditioner do you recommend?

what should i use to co-wash?

    What moisturizer?

    how often?

  • Your tutorial is great!!! I am sitting under the dryer now after trying your rollerset method. I tried to aim for the "tension" you were talking about; my rollers are tight for the most part, however I can't get my roots straight. My roots start curling up as soon as I start moving on to the next roller. I don't know....maybe I should just stick to flat irons. Any advice??? U need to do a rollerset tutorial when u have a lot of new growth....

  • i started back dryin my hair wit a fan lol its quicker

  • You first clamp the second roller to the anchor roller & then clip the third roller to the second roller & so on. It works for me. I usually do the ponytail method but my roots are never straight. Just follow the video step by step & pause & rewind if you have to.

  • I have trouble with the pins...What do u clamp it to when starting the first anchor?? I hope u understand my question.

  • great anchor tip!! i used to always just put my pins in my scalp. this will keep my scalp from burning like it usually does :) hehe

  • what size rollers do you use?

  • ok, so i tried the roller set, and my hair came out horrible... i am probably doing something wrong... i used the keratin and green tea stuff, and the 2 minute reconstructor... i probably just need a perm...

  • do you use setting lotion?

  • No Just aphogee green tea, their leave in .

  • ok i will try using just water, aphogee's green tea and the leave in conditioner. i hope my design essentials works for me the way aphogee is working for you. But I do like the 6 weeks protien treatment by aphogee.

  • Some ladies told me to check out your video and they were right: You have a great roller setting method! I attempted a roller set for the first time and it turned out okay, but I'll definitely try your method next time. XOXO

  • do you know which shampoo ingrediant is not good for the hair is it sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate because on google it says that both are not good!!

  • both are not good.... they both go by so many different names you should check up on them to find out.

  • This is such a big help! Your hair has grown a lot you might need a bigger roller!! LOL

  • Where did you but your rollers and clips? How much were they? And the hood dryer?

  • u can buy the set of rollers at walmart for under 15 dollars..

it comes with a comb, 50 rollers ,and clips

  • Can you tell me whether or not you used a wrapping foam or lotion? Thnx!

  • No wrapping lotion, just leave in, green tea, and h2O :0)

  • Thank you for making this video! I am going to try this, myself.

  • Now I know part of the reason why my rollers kept falling. It was because I didn't attach them all together!

    Good tutorial!

  • i never new about the anchor roller,, it's a great tip :D thanks!

  • I don't know how many times i have watched your tutorial for the roller wrap. (Over 12 times, no joke). I like the way you break every step down. Thank you for this vid chica!

  • Thx Gurl <3

  • I love this method!

  • Yep it's me I used to work there, shoot me a email and tell me who your are cuz it was like a hand full of girls working there, so I'm sure I remember you :0)

  • This helped me... alot, now I can do it myself, have that salon look without going to the salon... Thanks!! I love your tutorials

  • This is great! Thanks for posting...came at just the right time. Now I just hope I can replicate what you've done!

  • How do you get the hair to dtay in the middle of the rollers. my hair always seem to come out through the side of the roller for me. So annoying

  • The clips make it stay in, or part a slimer section :0)

  • i like the anchor technique! it'll make it a lot easier to take the clips out.

  • thats a very good exponation great video

  • I been married?

  • thank sooooooooooo much for this!

  • aww man i have to try this, i hate roller sets cause Im tenderheaded but maybe if I anchored it, it wouldnt pull so much! Thanks girl!
