He's a fucking professional drummer. Frost of Satyricon is fast as hell, but some will say he's all speed, no technique. Different styles, different opinion. If you're on some top list of best drummers...#1 or 100, you don't suck lol. You guys just wan't your favorite dude to be the best cuz he's the best to you. That's cool.

I'm with you. I personally don't like motorhead, but this drummer is technycally nothing. I do can play that. It's Ok that as a drum solo, it works out, but it hasn't got anything atall to admire. And wath really gets my coach it's Lars Ulrich... I hate that guy.. the olny thing he has to admire is his ncredible luck of being in such a band as metallica

i agree with you that lars ulrich sucks, but i have to say that the mikkey dee drum solo is the best METAL - drum solo ive ever heard.. if you look a bit nearer you will see very complicatet technically things like double stokes or advanced rudiment techiques. and in first line it has to rock, because its no drum concert, its a rock concert, its all show. he can do alot of more. but the people just like it that way :)

The drumming Mikkey did on THEM and Abigail with King Diamond is the GREATEST metal drumming ever in my opinion. I met and talked to him and he said that they rehearsed THEM for a couple months and then he went in and recorded the whole record by himself to a click. Conspiracy he learned in a day, King called him and said he needed him last minute. Mikkey was already out of the band. Vinnie Paul told me his favorite was Mikkey when I talked to him. Mikkey is very underated in my ipinion!!!
