funny i saw the same band on the mercury falling tour and they didn't sound even close to this good. vinnie was obviously over the gig and the energy was lame.

Just saw the same trio in the Back to Bass tour, and wow they were really tight. Sting sounded great and the new additions to the band added quite a spark.

I agree - Vinnie is the man! A friend saw him with Sting and when he came out for a bow - the guy had his foot in a cast! Are you kidding....greatness.

Tomorrow he plays in Canary Islands, Gran Canaria, but I'd rather to see a Jazz Trio with Vinnie on it than Sting with all those musicians. Sting is a rock musician, what the hell is he doing with a philarmonic?. I'll miss you Vinnie !!!!!

Hey thedrumdoctor! Thanx for posting this! This is actually my favourite Sting concert.. Well at least for me and that is 'cos they played a lot of songs that Sting never played before and with great arrangements too! The one that really makes me wanna cry is that St Augustine in hell/ Straight to my heart medley.. Wow! If you could post it, I'd be in debt with you.. Anyway thanx again for bringing back great memories man. Greetings!

@drumseigo I've had so many requests for more postings from this gig that I reckon the best thing is for me to ISO the DVD and throw it up as a torrent on Bitorrent. I'd do more uploads, but it's the time factor...If only they'd released this officially, I'd have bought it ages ago. I had to transfer this whole gig from VHS tape to DVD to preserve it!

he removed the lines at the end from the police version and put them at the end of seven days. sounds great in both but i guess it would be weird to play two songs that end with the exact same lyrics.

Thank you for the upload. vinnie and sting are unstoppable. the whole band is amazing. if vinnie stayed w/ sting we'd probably have a dvd of this but i guess not
