you're good at making music videos better than me. however, if i make a suggestion, the bridge instrumental part would have fit best with car chase scenes, but that's just me. if TF3 comes out on DVD, are you going to put all three movies together and make another music video?
I still say the first Transformers was a good movie and a fun experience. The second one was shit. Let's hope they get their shit together for part 3.
@Leatherbubba As Transformers fans let's just hope they have the sense to reboot the franchise after this Bay fiascio -_-. Maybe they can convince Christopher Nolan to direct it.
@Leatherbubba You had the Joel Schumacher Batman Forever and Batman & Robin... and then Nolan came along. I'm just hoping for someone who can redeem the Transformers in a similar fashion.
@WolfGuyX I don't see why some people think that because Nolan made two good Batman movies that he has this god-like ability to take any property and turn it into gold. Not everything works when written like The Dark Knight.
@Leatherbubba Because every movie he has directed IS good to great. And I mentioned him by name because he understands properties and why they should be handled with respect. Which is why I trust him with writing the next Superman film for example. And like I said with my response, I'm hoping for someone with a great sense of respect to come along LIKE Nolan did for the Batman movies. It was just an example. I'm just sick of the hack job that is Michael Bay.
@WolfGuyX If they don't reboot after DOTM, I think the next movie should be a prequel. Show the beginnings of Optimus Prime, the rise of the Decepticons, and the fall of Cybertron. Also,no humans!
@Leatherbubba I'm all on board for "NO HUMANS." I've been saying that ever since I accurately labeled Bay's moves as the "Shia LeBouf" chronicles after the first film. I still stand by a complete Reboot. Just start with a 'War for Cybertron' beginning and go from there.
@WolfGuyX I'm annoyed that Michael Bay is so obsessed with the U.S. Military. His prime concern with these movies seems to be to make the military look badass, and storytelling and everything else is not as important to him.
@Leatherbubba Honestly, Michael Bay hasn't been in check since Don Simpson passed away - who produced the Rock (one of the only Michael Bays films with an actual story). Bay has been on file to say that he hates the concept of the Transformers... which says everything to me. He just looks to take advantage of longtime and new time fans with cheep effects and corny sentimentality... hence Nemoy as Sentinal Prime.
I'm just glad that both he and Shia have said that this' their last Transformers.
@WolfGuyX I hate how in every sequel there are new transformers who show up out of nowhere with no explanation. They mostly have no personality and zero to few lines. I want to know who these characters are! Really,I do! And would it kill them to not make all the decepticons interchangeable grey masses of metal? I can barley tell the fucking things apart. Every decepticon looks like Megatron and sounds like Dr.Claw.
@Leatherbubba Just take out all of the spaces of course. It's a pretty entertaining and rather EXTREME take on the third and second flicks. Granted, I don't agree with everything. But from a Transformer's fan, it's almost a must.
@Leatherbubba We can agree that we want a better flick actually focusing on the TRANSFORMERS. No US or foreign military... no teenager whining drama... no stereotypically, low-brow humor bots and human parents... no Psycho-pathic homicidal Optimus Prime... No cheap shots at the fans in general... Just a GOOD flick. Why is that so hard to come by? Maybe Beast Wars jaded me. Hell, I can squeeze more of a plot out of ARMADA, and that has my favorite version of Starscream... WHO LEBOUF KILLED!!!
@WolfGuyX Starscream was one of the major letdowns of this series. Here you have a villain who,in my opinion,is much more interesting than Megatron himself, and they do NOTHING with him!
@Leatherbubba Let's be honest. They didn't do anything with the bots other than what...? A total of 3 to 5 speeches including both Optimus and Sentinal Prime.
Starscream IS one of the most versatile characters throughout the various series. From a cowardly, power-hungry sycophant to a honorary warrior who wishes to free the Decepticons from Megatron's rule. Personally my favorite character, and all I got is a huge middle finger from Bay.
@Leatherbubba I pretty much gave up after the very first scene of ROTF. I was like, "WAIT... who was that... Sideswipe? Sideways? Side... who? WHO THE HELL IS NEST?! Why are they destroying China?! Why did Optimus just put a bullet between that Decepticons eyes?! Wait... Arcee was there to? When?" And later on... Arcee just got her face blown off? WTF?!?! Maybe she's still around. Oh wait... nope.
i dont know if u all seen the original movie (cartoon) btu this song and video fit that perfectly they should have made that movie over in todays way it would be crazy what would 'unicron look like ?'
HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER THAT SONG!!!!! THAT SHIT WAS SO INSPIRING THAT I BODIED LIKE 18 PEOPLE ON GOW2 BEFORE SOMEBODY FUCKED IT UP AFTER THE SONG WENT OFF!!!
I cant believe you would mix this bayformer crap movie in with anything from the animated movie. Do us a favor and use drowning pool "bodies" or something instead.
this was actually fairly decent by todays blockbuster standards. it had good effects, and a human grounding. The only thing was not as much autobots v decepticons battles.
The second i thought lacked heart because it was nothing but battles, with the human characters that were okay first time around being bland. I personally think the first one is much better than revenge of the fallen.
Absolutely. The fallen had to be one of lamest villains ever. He was a total wuss who didn't fight until the end and then died in a matter of seconds. The worst part was that he was supposed to be in charge of megatron! That's an insult to megatron and every transformers fan.
Not only that, but Devastator was a total dissapointment. In the cartoon he was awsome, but in Transformers 2 he was basically a big pile of living junk who also died before he could do anything significant.
One of the best songs to ever grace the Transformer franchise...don't really give a damn what people say about the movies, all that matters is that it's Transformers...the effects did justice and it's one of a kind that started a whole new trand of animation effects!
ugh...We were talking about the new Transformers movie!
They brought back Arcee, Sideways, Constructicon's/Devastator, Jetfire, Sideswipe, and Scorponok. They're going to make another Transformers movie because Megatron and Starscream were still alive in the Final battle in the new movie.
I wasn't whining, if you think that is whining then you really have not been exposed to a lot of the modern world.
The Original was the best in terms of story, character development and dialog. The first bay movie had too much side story and too many humans and too much camera shaking. At least the second bay movie was better, not as much camera shaking, more Transformers and less human interference.
No worries, Don't be so quick to judge, but I can't blame you
I love all the movies but the original always has a warm spot in my heart, especially the sound track, Stan Bush is still my favorite artist, kind of tied with Disturbed xD.
People need to stop complaining and realize that these things all still exist so like it or not there will be fans of all types and each movie brings something unique to the table. The bay movies have amazing special effects as well.
Yeah. There was too much slow mothion transforming and cgi and bits moving. My favourite part was when Starscream started playing ping pong with the US Air Force, it was fast paced and exciting, if short. I hate too much slow motion.
Your right, Bay was clearly just showing off the pretty effects. There was too many humans and not enough robots in the first bayformers movie. Oddly enough I read a review from a magazine which was stupid saying 'since when does a movie have more about machines then human beings' probably since it was TRANSFORMERS.
Second one was better in that respect and not nearly as much camera shaking thankfully.
If they do it slow but with a nice dramatic build up that is cool but yeah cut to the chase
You must be thinking about the original movie and series, Optimus dies in the 1987 movie and comes back after fans were in a uproar in the cartoon series.

They'll all get their character and personality in the sequel... There's gonna be 20 freakin robots approximately!! WHOO HOO!!
que recuerdos vi la pelicula animada y en ela nueva le hacen algunas reerencias ( cuando optimus y megatron pelean dicen el mismo dialogo de la pelicula animada)
I have some problems with the recent Transformers movie. The sweet thing about the old cartoon was that all the Transformers had distinct personalities and traits that made them unique, that's part of what made it so much fun. Micheal Bay's version didn't even try to do any character development.basically he didn't try to make us care. It was just lazy.Cool special effects aside it was lazy filmmaking. But for a summer blockbuster it did what it needed to do and set up for a sequel.
Plus there were a lot of instances of where the movie was being set up like one of those Blockbuster events ala 'It's a Mad Mad Mad World' with several B-list actors taking the stages from the Transformers. I hope the sequel just makes it about the title characters instead of pointless filler. I mean, come on, GIANT ROBOTS. That's enough.
He will be. I found some website that was like Steven speilbergs blog or some thing. Steven was the producer not director so please don't chew me out saying bay made it and all that
I love this movie(transformers) the original, and the new one r great. personally if there r any things i dislike about it is 1) The music isn't as good as the 1986 one, and 2) Too much focus on humans.
Man, when this film was about to come out, there was mixed opinions and even I wasn't sure if it'd live up to the standards of the animated series, I think it really did, it was hugely entertaining and I think they really gave the transformers justice!
now your talkin how much better the old school music sounds so much better than linkin park (no disrespect) mb would have been on a winner with the original TF songs.Well put together
I feel as if this needs to be said. I have watched the movie several times. Simply put I found very few places where this Grade A old music would have fit the action. Maybe in the fight with Devestator but not much else.
I think that Nothings Gona Stand in our Way would have fit a few places, as would Hunger.
I love these old song too but they just would not have fit well with the heavier status of the movie.
michael bay is a tool, the only good thing THE ONLY GOOD THING in this movie is the actual transformers and the company that created them did a fantastic job, the rest of the movie just sucks hairy balls and the music does too, stan bush and vince dicola RULE! if there is anyone out there listening someone needs to start a petetion to stop micheal bay directing the sequels and to get vince di cola doing the music.
Whilst I disagree with your opinion of the movie, I thought it was a good start to what COULD be a great series of movies(but will probably be turned crap like Star Wars, Matrix, Pirates etc). But absolutely Vince DiCola NEEDS to get on board, and put Grimlock, Omega Supreme, Soundwave and Devastator in the sequel and Unicron/Primacron/Vector Sigma/Alpha Trion in the Finale
They didnt use this music becuse stan bush's music was rejected from the movie. Its a shame becuse the music hypens it up. And it matches with words even his new song "till all are one" was rejected.

They needed this song in the new movie, it would have made it much better.
