  • nice song!!!!

  • Like both versions!! The Supremes version takes me back to when I was 5 and we were all driving to my big sisters hi school graduation....Bananarama takes me back to new wave clubbing when I was old enough to party.

  • Nathan Jones had to get the Hell out!

  • i'm nathan jones and i approve this song

  • Love the FEMDYK look!

  • love bananarama

  • They recorfrf this because they had become the most successful girl group since the Supremes. This when sung by the Supremes was in the earky 70s by that time Diana Ross had left the Supremes. I did like this version when it came out but now I don'y like it,the Sumpreme original I do still like!

  • @kieran196

bananarama are better, than the supremes.

  • @sadiq2008 no. they are just from a newer era with newer sounds. vocally they are shit.

  • @kieran196 my sentiments exactly.

  • the Supremes are much better

  • @lindsay3640

bananarama are much better, than the supremes.

  • this is so much more up beat.the nanas r legends.much love.x

  • @heidstar1

    yes bananarama are legends.

  • what supremes songs do you know anyway? Banarama was one of the the best bands of the 80s. So Shut it

  • @MrJtvander i am very familiar with both groups. i have the bananarama album this is is on. they are souless. okay to dance to back in the 8o's but really just fluff SAW. could have been any girls singing this in this style.

  • a white souless, whitewashed version of a great supremes song. it's insulting at best.

  • @wonderboyjoy

it is not insulting, bananarama are the best and they are legends.

  • @sadiq2008 you are kidding?????? they were voted the worst tour of australia a few years back.

  • @wonderboyjoy

not any girls have the chance to do like bananarama, and also the supremes and the three degrees never lasted long, bananarama had more hits and singles the supremes and better than the three degrees.

  • @sadiq2008 the supremes had 12 USA number ones. they lasted from 1961 until 1977. that was a pretty good run i would say. diana, lead singer of the supremes still had hits in the UK until 2004. when was bananaramas last top 5 hit? just sayin.

  • @wonderboyjoy but Diana Ross did not sing on this song, because of that it wasn't a big hit, it was long forgotten till the Nana's brought it back.

  • @troystar i know and i agree. but i still think it sounded better back in 86 when the whole saw thing was happening. now i listen to it i think it sounds piddly. each to his/her own though. cheers.

  • @wonderboyjoy

they were voted worse only once, but everytime they make a tour they succeed and many like them, they are still the strongest female group in history, not like shitty girl groups right in this crazy era and generation.

  • @sadiq2008 i agree with your last comment. bananarama really only had one huge selling album and i think they may have sold well in the 80's but to call them the greatest girl group in history is really pushing it IMO. i did love them at the time they were making it big...my fave song of theirs is still cruel summer. cheers.

  • @sadiq2008 they only tour here in australia as a package with others. if they're only on for half an hour...then good.

  • One of my all-time Bananarama favs! Great audio and video quality!
