Looks like you're making good progress. One thing of note, though: all the motion still looks like semi-slow (32 fps or so) takes. If you could speed up the movements they would appear more natural. Of course, if this is an effect you are trying to achieve then just ignore me. Heh. Everyone else does.

I like the style with this movie and the animation is pretty good. Some of the best stuff I've seen in a while. The art makes this trailer very cinematic as well. I hope you upload this on Youtube. Awesome job! Any influences while creating this movie?

Influences, eh?...  Mostly anime (anything by Makoto Shinkai, also Noein, haibane renmei, eureka 7, death note, etc) Although I've attempted to create a look that's unique and not anime.

In terms of cinematic look and mood, Dark City, Children of Men, and The Fountain.

I've seen both Dark City and Children of Men and they are pretty good movies. Clive Owen really did a great job in Children of Men as well. As for your style, I have to agree, it is unique and fits with the look of the movie. Great job!

I haven't seen Noein, Naibane Renmei, Eureka 7 or Death Note. I haven't seen The Fountain yet, but I have seen Dark City and Children of Men and they are both pretty good. Clive Owen did a great job on Children of Men though. As for Dark City, I have to say that movie was pretty interesting to see. Can't wait to see your animation when it comes out! Take your time with it, I'm still working on mine.

hehe.. when it's done ;) as it stands 25 mins and it'll prob be 60 mins or so. Year 1 down, so another year or a bit.
