That smoke was god awful to walk through, particularly when you are in long enough that you have to breathe in. Glad to hear the guy who got hit with the tank ended up okay. Yeah, that cease fire was called rite as me and about 4 other Rangers got to the top. We were about 10 feet away from the flag that would capture the beach for the Allies.....
That cease fire was called for one of the ppl in my platoon. An unsecure HPA tank flew out of someones pack when they jumped in a trench and it hit him in the back of the head. he had to get staples and everything, he ended up ok though.
Ha ha, i was one of those "allies up on the hill" When we 101st pathfinders came out of the tree line behind the germans, the look on their faces was priceless.
Thanks for posting all these vids. It helps me show people who didnt go, how it was. Aside from cheaters who feel the need to hide what side they're on, I applaude you sir.
AT 2:13, when the cease fire happened, i was wearing my red barrel sleeve over my blue hopper cover, to look german, and was getting ready to hop into their trenches lol. (nj) :P and thanks for posting these vids.
