Isn't it weird how the show sorta relate's to the real world and Sorry to bring this up but When Maes hughes say's Why would they make up a rumor about who ever get's close to the truth dies and then he say's but if they didn't want them to know why would they have so many book's about them and then he figure's out what's going on and when He tries to tell his friend and he dies it's like The illuminati if u get close to the truth and try and tell someone they either kill u or frame u

He was among my favourites, admittedly I teared up when he died.. Especially when his daughter insisted he was at work during his funeral... FMA is one of the best shows ever. At times it makes me laugh uncontrollably, at others it can bring tears to my eyes.

@MrRolflol I totally agree. Watching Brotherhood, and watching FMA are like watching a TOTALLY different anime. One of the reasons i loved FMA so much was because of the character build, and how it could litterally make me cry over ANYONE who died, and im not the, "crying-over-a-t.v-show" type. I broke down when Hughes, and Nina died in FMA but not so much in Brotherhood

Brotherhood's ending was MUCH better, but I missed the emotion from FMA :)

@notimportant789 well both shows are great both are not perfect while i still like the original more brotherhood had a better story line better action and better villains i say better villains because well Dante kinda sucked and so did warth and sloth but while the last 14 ep of brotherhood where great it just seemed like non stop action the ending to brotherhood was ok.. which is ALOT more then i can say for the original but maybe i like fma 1 more because it was my 2 anime ( first sucked)

@MrRolflol okay I TOTALLY agree with you there. Brotherhood definetly had better villians. I liked Wrath, but he wasnt really evil, and Dante, well...Dante was Lame -.-. FMA's ending was horrible, but I watched the FMA movie after it which made it a LITTLE better, but still not great.

Brotherhood also had better action scenes, and I loved all the new characters. The only thing I really didnt like from FMAB was the lack of character build/emotion in some scenes. It didnt make me wanna cry much:)

@notimportant789 part of that reason i think is because you saw it coming though 1 death did make me cry in bortherhood i wont spoil it but is in ep 54 i liked may alot but i thought she was a total moron when she brought envy back to central and about Conqueror of Shamballa you know i dont think world war 2 when some body says FMA which is ironic since alot of charters are named after world war 2 weapons/cars anyways i wish a villain more related was in the movie ( i do like mega gluttony)

I dont know, part of it might have been cuz i saw it coming, but FMAB just focused less on the old character's I think, because most of the ones I fell in love with from FMA werent that important in Brotherhood. But Brotherhhod does show more of Ed and Winry's relationship, which i like, and May is funny ^^. Mega Gluttony was cool in the movie, but i still think Pride from Brotherhood was one of the best villians.:)

FMA- had more character build then FMA Brotherhood. I cried for EVERYONE who died in FMA, but in Brotherhood ,I could (almost) careless.

However,

Brotherhood folllowed the manga ALOT better, making more sense of the story....not to mention a much better ending, but FMA's ending wasnt TOO bad, as long as you watched the "FMA Movie" after it ^^ lol.

but thats just my opinion :)

Envy's not a she. Envy was a product of Hohenhiem and Dante.

Before Trisha, Hohenhiem and Dante were lovers who had a child. But the child died. In their grief, they tried to bring the child back to life. Doing so caused the child to turn into a homonculous who later became Envy.
