Great version of the Little Walter classic, later done excellently by the late great Paul Butterfield. Hummel is a modern harp master and his blowouts are great. I saw one at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz CA in Jan '09, featuring Charlie Musselwhite, Curtis Salgado, Andy Santana, Lee Oskar and of course Mark. I'll be at Yoshi's in Oakland CA 1/29/10 for Mark, James Cotton, Paul Oscher & others. And finally, Rusty Zinn is a modern master himself on that smokin' guitar.
Hello NicolletislandSlim and TwinCitiesBlues, I used to hang out at the Cabooze about 35 years ago ... wow. Maybe I'll check it out again on my next trip back...prob. Dec.
I was there at the Cabooze also! Great show, eh? Really impressed with Mark Hummel, and it was great to finally hear Whammer Jammer by Mr. Magic Dick Salwitz live, after all these years.

Mark Hummel continues to impress blues fans the world over with his virtuosity and showmanship.
There is not a better blues harp player nor a nicer guy.
