@kingmcbrian Performance in the final game when patched up is much better than the demo, even more so with the Operation Arrowhead expansion. You need a fairly beefy GPU though to push through the frames. I wouldn't suggest anything lower than the GTX260, which you should be able to get for a pretty decent price now (even the 275 or 280 shouldn't be that bad).

You just need to know how to play the game. its not a game where you can jsut go out and buy it then be a pro at it 20 minutes later. It took me weeks to learn just the basic controls and functions. But once you lear how to play....this game is a gift from god. Its unbelievable. Even with the bugs it used to have it still got #21 in pc gamers magazines list of best games of all time!

I play CoD4 A lot i even pre ordered MW2 i saw couple of these vids of arma 2 and i have to say DAMN thats fucking realistic yes its a lot running but man those maps are HUGE!! I like the cam movement i just love it its like ur really running, Not like cod running in straight line also i noticed that you aint going to find enemies at every corner like in cod or BF.

You cant compare Arma and Operation Flashpoint, because they are both made by the same company. They both have the same graphics, the same vehicals and weapons, one is just a FPS Strategy, the other is a Infantry and vehical operator simulator.

I tried the demo, its somewhat unique but its really buggy and the blurr effect is over done. Even the slighted of movement will temporarely disorient you. Beside sthat. graphics are great. We need more PC games with this type of graphical prowess to separate the consoles from Pcs

The ArmA demo is laggy, but the actual game is not. The demo is 1.08. If you get the full version and update it to 1.14 (or 1.15b) its like 400x better.
