Daily injections of insulin are needed. The exact cause is unknown. Genetics, viruses, and autoimmune problems may play a role. Type 2 diabetes is far more common than type 1. It makes up most of diabetes cases. It usually occurs in adulthood, but young people are increasingly being diagnosed with this disease. The pancreas does n

  • im getting my first airbrush do you know any techniques for beginners

  • There's no short answer for that question- I usually just mix as needed- but study the blush makeup colors/shades and you'll be fine if you can simulate them.

  • I typed that on my phone and autocorrect made me sound retarded but I'll show her tomorrow

  • I know that feeling with autofill- no sweat at all.

  • Steve very good job I am actually her husband and I would am don't think she saw that persons post on facebook but I am going to show her tomorrow as she is sleeping now I will make sure she gets in touch

  • I've sent you a personal message- check your messages.

I hope she feels I captured her likeness well.

Thanks again for the kind words.

  • hi steve, greetings from the netherlands. yes you have a big fan there, I think you are in a league of your own, absolutely fantastic. keep on doing what you do.

    Jan Meijer

  • Thank you Jan.......wish I could visit the Netherlands- heard it's great over there!!!

  • what colours and ratios do you use to achieve skin tones?

    Fantastic work as usual.

  • I usually mix as needed without a specific receipe......for the most part there beige paint mixes same as you'd see as a base or foundation make-up women use....if you can mix those colors you'd have no problem.

  • Steve you are definitely a HIGH CALIBER ARTIST, up there with greats like BORIS VALLEJO & ALBERTO VARGAS.

I do freehand potraits with dark pencils, you have inspired me with your work, to want to learn airbrush.

Do you always freehand sketch, and do you sometimes use a projector to speed things up.

  • Thank you Tom- that is super high praise indeed of which I am not worthy but do appreciate.

I almost always use a projector as it just makes the job much easier and since it's no art contest, I'm just looking to paint as quickly as possible. I do however draw a bit and it helps immensely!!!

  • Gr8 job Steve.

How many hours did you spend to do this job?

  • Ohh man- I don't know for sure but i'd estimate maybe 8 hours!

  • Hi Steive nice work , what did you use to outline the arm and body for creating the hard lines ..

  • I originally just airbrush them- but in this case I wanted a clean white background and painted over by hand with titanium white acrylic- giving me a clean hard edge (I softened it up a little by going over with airbrush in the end anyway.)

  • You are amazing! You should check out my speed paintings on my page. I basically do the same thing... except digitally. I use oil paints in real life... I need to invest in an airbrush machine thingy. I bet I would love it more than oils. Anyways. KEEP IT UP!

  • Thank you- yeah I'll check out your speed paintings- always liked those kinds of videos~

  • Probably the best airbrush Artist out of the Tri-State area with out a doubt, don't be fooled folks i know him for nearly 20 years and he has been doing this for that long, he has paid his dues and is one extreme artist with an airbrush. Stevie as i, and most of his best friends call him is the most modest individual one will ever meet. By the way go to a book store(Barns&Noble) and pick up a book where he was recently featured in where he explains how to airbrush pinups! Steve simply the best!

  • Thank you Sir Marklin, I appreciate the kind words....thank you all for the kind words- I'll keep painting and post them.

  • How much does a piece that big usually go for? Excellent work, she's gorgeous.

  • its is a good filling dont stop.very well..a pegeant

  • Dude, epic. You ever get the chance to show the people you paint these pieces? I bet they'd be seriously impressed!

  • I'd love to show it to her- but I don't know her personally but she's one of my favorite models. If anyone knows how to reach her- i'd love to contact her.

  • I posted the vid on what appeared to be her facebook page, let you know if I get any kind of response.

  • Her husband says he'll make sure she see's this- so let's hope she likes this!

  • nunez..you da man..!!

  • STEVE IS GOD! The best airbrush artist in the universe. I have to try and think of something better to say from the last comment I made on another of his works. I'm running out of thoughts.

  • Thanks Airscrew, GOD definitely not- but super nice compliment!!!!!!

  • wow you sure are top of your game a fantastic artist amazing talent..superb realism

  • i dont have words for how awesome this is...

  • Thank you all- super nice compliments.

  • hey steve phenomenal piece my brother. can i ask a question what type of airbrush gun do you use and paint

  • Peak C3 (Iwata HP-C clone)

    Paint is acrylic paint (Createx)

  • all i can say is damn

  • Beautiful piece, especially the anatomy of the wrists...do you ever user electric erasers or blades for details?

  • Thank you- I don't use electric erasers, but I'm open to try them (I know it's a common isllustartors technique!)

  • damn i would have so many chicks on me if i knew how to airbrush like you do bro ahahaha

  • You'd think so......~
