I would also HIGHLY recommend typing in 'the cave castlecomer' and lending an ear to Castlecomer's cover of 'The Cave', it's absolutely killer. They're such a good band, they impressed me with that cover, and they've become my latest obsession!

In that case, they need the slow builds in order to preserve enough energy for their boot-stomping finishes. Besides, even with the qualities you pointed out in common, the new songs I've heard each have a vibe of their own.

This heartbreakingly sad song was written about a mothers anguish for her son who thought he was a rabbit.

No matter what the mother tried the son always reverted back to the unshakable belief that he was a rabbit called Barry.

He was always digging holes and warrens and when ever anyone asked her where her son was she answered "Somewhere below my feet"

The story has a very happy ending though due to the fact that the son finally stopped believing he was a rabbit.

He thought he was a badger.

@nguevara1018531 The new album is going to be mindblowing. The Cave is hard to beat.. When the album comes out I think this will be my listening preference, but in 5 years, I think they'll both have stood the test of time equally well.

At the moment I'm hooked on Castlecomer's cover of The Cave. It's absolutely amazing.
