@DAWWEFAN78 It is basic Social Studies. It shouldn't be hard (at all) if you have made it to at least the 8th grade level in school. If you haven't been to at least 8th grade you might consider asking your GED provider for a GED study book that you can borrow and take home. Getting your GED will not be hard, it just takes time and perseverance and a humble attitude.

I am an ex-gangmember it doesnt matter what gang because thats not me anymore.. i dropped out of school during freshman year and before that ive always cheated my way through school so as you can probably geuss i dont know much straight up.. I really need help since im trying to turn my life straight but i dont know what to do.. i dont have the money for tutoring and i can say i really dont know much on any subject especially math (dont even know my basic timestables) please help im 18 .

I suggest you start research online, I am also a High School drop out because I hung out with the wrong crowd, my best bet is hang out with the right people now, because they will keep you out of trouble. Also you can go around and seek help from some programs out there, and don't let anything get in your way.

Wow reading all these posts motivate me to persevere even more to get my GED. Once I get my GED I'm going to join the Navy! - The reason I'm getting my GED is because I was stuck in private school all my life and failed 4 grades and then the private school sent my parents a letter when I was 16 saying that they didn't want me to attend at their school the following year. I was heart broken until I realized that I can be just a success with my GED and a few college courses! Here I come Navy!

@mattmoreira252 Good luck Matt, I think this is a wonderful idea. My sister joined the Navy after getting her GED and saved up quite a bit of money. She now owns her own place and has a hefty savings. I'm not going to say it was easy for her, but not everything will be easy.

School is where i learned how to read,write,multiply,divide,add­,subtract, and school is where i met most of my friends. But other than that it is pointless i never learned shit after the 6th grade its was just pointless. Im going to try to pass my ged without studying , and if i fail ill study and attack it again.

They placed me in a Special Educational setting for almost my whole educational experience in public school until 10th grade when I had enough and got out of it. Sometimes you have to prove to them that you're not dumb, but intelligent. Yeah, I have troubles with mathematics--my brain can't figure out some of it right, but over the years I didn't let it stop me. Pushing on is better than living in doubt.
