Honestly, there are hardly any books written any more that are worth reading. We wonder why girls are getting abortions right and left, just look at the garbage in the YA section at Borders. Sarah Palin was not attempting to ban any books. She was testing the loyalty of city officials, the librarian included. The librarian was not the only one fired. Many others who were loyal to the previous mayor were fired as well. Liberals, hell bent towards Obama, are making this to be a Right-wing Christian story rather than a plainly political one. All these reports are deceiving and painting a strong civil servant as a crazy one which is exactly what Obama is. A wolfe in sheep's clothing.

God is banned from schools and courts. Kids get suspended for bringing a Bible to school or praying, while at the same time they bring a bunch of perverts to teach sexual deviation to the same kids. There is a major discussion in US in reference to Separation of Church & State with the resolt of banning Christianity from any public building. A judge in GA lost his job for wanting to display the Ten Commandments in his court. There are many court cases relating to children showing Bibles at school. Creationism cannot be taught even as an alternative theory to Evolution (a very faulty concept, may I add) yet it's the ONLY one offered.

1. the fossil record of change in earlier species

2. the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms

3. the geographic distribution of related species

4. the recorded genetic changes in living organisms over many generations.

Mahadma Ghandi said Christianity is a great religion and that he would be a Christian himself if it wasn't for the Christians. That's pretty much what you're doing. So, both Mahadma and you both are missing out on the salvation offered by the Lord Jesus Christ, because of your attitude and hatred for Christians. You can't blame the church either for your decision to become agnostic. You turn your back of God on your own. Fundamentalists are not God. The Crusaders did not represent God. The Bible says: search the Scriptures for in them you find life. We are doomed to hell, but God sent His Son to take our punishment. No one's ramming any religion down anyone's throat. Operating term here is, "it will never be". That is a decision you've made. By the way, Jesus doesn't offer a religion. He actually broke with traditional Judaism to replace it with a "relationship". God called Abraham His friend. Jesus the same way called His disciples "friends". As I understand it, an agnostic is an ignorant who's trapped in his ignorance because he doesn't believe that God can be known. The knowldge of God is in the Scriptures, but ags will not accept it.

If the two were not connected then why in the hell did Sarah Palin even bring up the subject of removing the books? That's the question that needs to be asked. Also I don't think that many Evangelicals have the capacity or maturity to govern in a pluralistic society without trying to enforce their own rules and morality on everyone.
