  • gracias, por subirlo. greetings from Mexico

  • where did krang get a mallet? this was never in the cartoons.....-_-

  • remember how krang used to beat the turtles with that mallet? ya me neither...

  • Well he ONLY is Shredders boss and rules of Dimension X :P

  • Hard and ridiculously funny boss. It was great tme kicking Krang butt on 2 player mode

  • I remember making it up to this point on a single continue the last time I played this...

I always preferred Mikey, since his special can hit both parts at the same time, thus getting him to recombine quicker.

  • Oh, that fuc**** legs used to kick my ass so much... hate them!

  • Krang used to be the most pain in this game, for me. I could beat him almost everytime when I was in my best, but only twice I could actually kill super shredding, because of few lives left... So, he is the hardest of the game! And the theme is the best too!

  • krangs an example of the cheap getting cheaper in sequels.

  • :56-:58

Look out for the Elvis Kick!!!

  • this is one of my firsts cartridges of nes

    really funny boss battle!!

  • love the crazy ass music

  • no wonder he bitched so hard at shredder to make him his body, its fucking rape lol

  • Chocolateman: "What was that guy's name from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?"

    Miller (The Killer): "Leonardo"

    Chocolateman: "No"

    Miller: "Shredder"

    Chocolateman: "No"

    Miller: "Oh, Krang! It's Krang!"

    Chocolatemans: "That's the one!"

.... so i looked up krang and found this video

  • KIll that krank brain :)

  • best krang so far....

  • Krang has the funniest song LoL!

  • "I am Krang the all powerful. I have never been defeated!"

"Well you've never messed with a turtle before dude!"

  • Man, I played this game over 5,000 times back in the day as a kid my father and I loved it more than any other game. This is my favorite boss, The music is awesome. Plus it's kinda funny, My uncle looks just like Krang's Android. Funny as hell.

  • LOL! When I was a kid, I and my cousin playing it all nights! :D I miss this days!

  • uhhhm! its actually called Krang's Android! Krang is the alien inside of the robot! DUH

  • @JohnnyHavenot Ultimately Krang is the one controlling the exosuit, so it makes sense. I mean, would you call the final boss of Bionic Commando "Master-D's Helicopter".

  • @lmphk No, I'd call it Albatross.

  • @corjonbett

Wasn't that the name of the fortress? The helicopter was just a helicopter.

  • @Alignn The helicopter really isn't a boss... You shoot it once and it goes boom. The thing before it, now that is a boss... if you don't count the robot on the escape, as well.

  • @corjonbett

Sorry, I was thinking of Rearmed (where the helicopter is a decent boss fight).

  • @Alignn Yeah, I was thinking nes version, where you actually fight the albatros, sorry...

  • @JohnnyHavenot its real name im pretty sure is super krang

  • @JohnnyHavenot uhhhm DUH it never mentioned "android" anywhere in the cartoon...its "Krang" and TECHNCIALLY the body was reffered to as "his new body" not "android"

  • the old glorys,in the Nintendo Entertainment System(nes) :D good video,thanks!!!

  • DAMN, Krang should've been called Final Boss #1, tough motherf*cker xD

  • he was annoying to fight, but I love his battle theme! (it's my ringtone)

  • esse foi um dos primeiros jogos que eu fechei , muito legal saudades......

  • thats right! poke him with your sausage!! haha

  • Playing that game would piss me off.. He looks hard enough but when his legs separated and started flying around kicking you that was just ridiculous.

  • Personally, I consider this boss as the hardest in the game - unlike Super Shredder he is very unpredictable and has very annoying attacks.

And when I saw for the first time his separation I was totally like WTF?!?!

Then I laughed, then Krang killed me...

    Sad story. :)

  • It was always weird how this TMNT game and the other one would label your remaining lives as "R," as in Rest, as in the rest of your remaining men. No other game calls it that...

  • Actually a LOT of old Konami games labeled the remaining lives as "Rest".

  • I'd probably hate Krang too if he didn't have such an awesome theme.

This game, 2 and 4 is on my list of games I want on Virtual Console

  • Ah, I remember owning TMNT II and TMNT III for the NES a few years ago and this fight was almost as bad, if not worse, than the TMNT II Krang fight and the Shogun fight combined. Then again, I pwned Krang in both games, too. To those jabronis that say that the arcade version of TMNT is the harder version of the game, I am sorry, but for the most part, the NES version has it beat hands down AND it has more enemies and stages than the arcade version, too.

  • As God as my witness, he is broken in half!

  • Bah gawd!! Climb that ladder kid, make yourself famous!!

  • vendo assim ate pace ser facil...

  • My God. Does he spam Rocket Punch or does he spam Rocket Punch?

  • I think his arcade theme would suit this battle VERY WELL. This joker's a pure pain in the ass.

  • hehe nice work mate!!

  • the real comics were very rare for us kids back then.

i had one and my friend had 2 and 3 and that was all for my 20 or so friends.

most fans liked the show, games and toys and pizza.

  • OK, I admit it—Krang IS kind of a nuisance here. When you have to battle an android whose legs can detach from the rest of its body, let alone operate on their own, you've got problems. *laughs*

  • his legs are like a bunch of mexican jumping beans :P

  • A lot of the TMNT games build off of the other sources (i.e. the cartoons and comics, as well as each other). For example, all the 1980's and 1990's TMNT games were based on the 1980's cartoon series and Playmates' toy line. Also, these games used a lot of the same stages for each installment. Example: Turtles in Time used this very stage for the fight between movie characters Tokka & Razor (TMNT II) and used the scene from the Krang fight in the arcade game for the first fight with Shredder.

  • That would be Rahzar, not Razor, TherealRNO and yes, your observation was noted but the portal was not in the background on the Turtles in Time level.

  • Ooo how I hated his legs :P

  • i do like how Krang had much more variety of attacks in this fight

  • 5 stars to you sir

  • he walks in and he's like "LOL here iz teh Krang watch 4 mi Big Feets"

  • How Do You Make A Video Off A Video Game?I'm kind of new at this.

  • Well I use an emulator and a program called SnagIt. If you wish to capture footage from the TV (for example if you have an actual console connected to the TV and you want to record the gameplay), you need a capture card, but they are pretty expensive and sometimes pretty difficult to deal with. If you just wish to use the emulator and a recording device, using CamStudio would be pretty wise if you don't want to pay for recording programs (SnagIt's full version is not free).

  • to byla gierka, juz takich nie robią ehh;-(

  • si, si

  • I don't know if this is true, but it seems to me that beating Krang all ways gives you enough points for an extra life. It's like the developers are saying "Good job on defeating Krang, heres an extra life. You're gonna need it"

  • I always used to play this game with my big brother!

  • I just recently found a lil trick to beat Krang easily after his robot body splits and then reconnects. I got him up against the right wall, just at the bottom edge of the laser door, and would stand below him at the bottom, a little to the left. He'd just stand there and fire his homing missiles at me, and I'd run up and smack him some and then run back to the bottom and repeat the process until he died. I'll try it again today and see if it still works.

  • How is it in every game Krang is in, after you defeat his robot body he ALWAYS gets away!? It's just sooo annoying! He's nothing more than a helpless pink blob w/out his robot body! The Turtles should squish him...

  • Recently beated the game and he is freakin tough, i played with leonardo and when he connects with his body he walked to the left corner and i'd use Leonardo's special attack and Krang was defeated :)

Great video it's always awesome to see his body explode

  • The TMNT games for the NES are so awesome. Too bad the third title was not released outside the US.

  • Yes it was, nils920. They just called it TMNT II: The Manhattan Project for the Famicom. Go to Gamefaqs and they will have it listed for you.

  • Yeah, I knew that. What I ment was it's so unfair the third game was not released in Europe.

  • Hey, they use the same music against him as in teh Arcade game (and the NES port) Never noticed that before.

  • Yeah, Krang's theme was in the Arcade game, the Arcade game's NES port and this one.

  • Groovy...I clicked this link from my video, ona whim i posted one of the soundtrack songs form the origonal arcade game O_O

  • It's Krang's theme from the cartoon too, although it's usually played slower.

  • COuld you Send me a link with an episode that has the theme and the time psoted where it starts?

  • Why does Krang always get away? Would it be too graphic to kill off a brain in a video game?

I never understood why Konami made such a decision, particularly in part II, where Krang exclaims "I'm invincible!". Where's Robocop when you need him?

  • I suppose Krang couldn't be killed since he never was in the cartoons or in the comics (I think).

  • Really? I'm pretty sure that he was in the old school cartoon series. Yeah, he definitely was, now that I think of it.

You're right though, he did not appear in the original comic book series. I still don't see how not being in a comic book or movie would grant Krang immunity though lol.

  • Krang was certainly in the cartoons (I'm actually surprised you didn't know that) - they never created new characters specifically for the video games, I think.

  • I'm not sure after all this time, but I think I meant that he never was killed in the cartoons or comics.

  • the music is scared Y_Y

  • I like Krane's music from 2 and 3.

  • Krang aint shit without his body! Look at him run.lol

  • That boss is one of the toughest as I recall...

    Good old days.

    ~Trav.~

  • Krang is very tough, you can't use the jump-kick as freely as you could in II, because now he has the electrocution attack.

  • Holy shit...
