  • Guys who cares if not real baseball it's safer for the kid and at least he's hitting them

  • Home runs are hit with are baseball not a rubber ball

  • he is hitting them far becuz he is hitting rubber balls ;)

  • 3 letters M-L-B. If he keeps progressing that is. Im 12 and have never hit a home run because im not stong enough. I hit 4 in the lineup and have the highest batting average on my team ( 820) i hit doubles to the fence every at-bat i just cant get it over because i hit line drives not high arcing bombs. its so annoying!

  • The pitcher sucks he flinched at everything. Power to the kid he's got eye

  • those are not even baseballs

  • that kid had barly any strike

    thumbs up if agree

  • @dilo146 It's pretty tough to throw strikes to five year old with no catcher's mitt to throw to

  • Hacker.

  • damn your son is gonna be a beast keep practicing with him

  • nice

  • i love how he tells the pitcher when to throw, ahah

  • That's awesome but he needs better plate discipline (kidding, I know he's 5). I love that he's got a Yankees jersey and hat on too

  • he hits better than some kids on my high school team lol

  • godd but use real baseballs and hit them and see how far they go and dount use bouncey balls

  • Awesome

  • he swings like the babe

  • This is made even better by the fact he is wearing a Yankee, a RUTH jersey non-thee-less

  • baby babe ruth

  • thats no fare!!!!! he nos when his dad is throwing it!!

  • How does he hit like every one and he's 5? When I was 5, I was getting used to a tee!

  • Wow, thats amazing. Keep doing what your doing and your son will be an outstanding baseball player. For him even to make contact with the ball is impressive

  • I'm 10 and i'm jealous.

  • Ready? Set? Go..... haha love it... if only i could use that in a real game!!!

  • umm hes way better than me

  • LOVE THE SHORT SWING VERY FAST

  • This is great. Wish my dad did this kinda stuff with me. Nowadays i gotta ask him just to go over to the batting cages and pitch and hit cuz hes too involved with my sister gettin a softball scholarship and stuff... oh well. Hope this kid makes it big!

  • You need to teach him not to bail out of the box like that... Put some plastic bats in front of him and behind him on the ground ...and tell him he can't step on or over the bats when he swings. Get him in the habit now or he'll make that his swing for a LONG time.

  • wow

  • thats is not a baseball ball

  • i can hit the ball way further than this kid and im one and a half. i can also read and write

  • @titties100 and you can also lie!

  • very cool. the first thing you should work on is getting his lower body under control, he's got some bad habits going on.

  • lol he counts down the pitch that's so cool

  • his swing is pretty sloppy but i mean the kid is 5 years old what do you expect? haha impressive none the less

  • Keep up the good work kid

  • lol i love his pitching. the kid is great for his age though.

  • His hand eye is great and his hands are fantastic on meeting the baseball, but as a coach to older kids try to teach him to get his back foot down solid and he will definately flourish as a baseball player

  • Dude dont worry about what other people tell you hes

well on his way to D1 college ball. dont let him give it up!

  • rubber ball

  • He's the next Vladmir Guerrero!! He reaches out over the plate and crushes pitches that are balls for homeruns! We are looking at the Yankees 2022 Draft Pick!!!

  • keep your balance.

  • You pitch like a freaking goober.

  • RUBBER BALLS=SUCKY KID

  • @MrTexanBorn lol you probly start left bench

on your beer legue softball team right?

  • ur doing a good job but heres 2 tips

try to get him to take a SMALL step towards the pitcher with his front foot and keep his back foot planted

  • he has big barrel

  • FUCK THAT KID MAN IM BETTER THAN HIM FUCKING VIDEO TAPE ME FOR CHRIST SAKES HITTING A REAL BASEBALL! HE CAN HIT 60 MPH IN THE LOCAL BATTING CAGE BUT HE CANT TAKE HIS DADS LITTLE PUSSY TOSS TO THE CHEST? THAT KIDS A FUCKING PUSSY!

  • @NicholasRBell dude relax he is five and he has a good swing he prob hits better than you

  • @Yankeeboy612 I was joking, obviously.

Haha. Like I would freak out like that over a little kid thats not even half of my age, thought it was apparent that I was kidding, but I guess it wasn't.

  • Pretty cool. Good swing, kid! Keep the pressure low and he will do well.

  • Wow BambinoBryce, are you serious? your kid SUCKS. hes soo bad. yeah im a gay famous pitcher in history......sweet dude ur kid has NO talent. those arent homeruns retard ur kid sucks

  • he would have more power if he kept his back foot stable

  • does he play coach pitch or tee ball

  • How about some of you jerks try pitching 40 miles less than full speed, to a 1 foot by 1 foot target. i swear some of you people are just SOOOOO smart., Great job sir, i wish i couldve had someone to teach me to swing when i was younger.

  • he needs tp drive it not pop it up

  • im a 15 year old starting shortstop for my team....and i wish i could hit that often....this kid is amazing!!!!

  • That's Bryce Harper who is on the natioals now.

  • please learn how to throw strikes cause if he plays baseball like fastpitch he's going to be swinging at any thing he sees.

  • keep up the good work. by the time he's my age (11) he'll be the best in his league

  • im more impressed that u can actually pitch to him hahahaha but really that kid is good for being 5

  • i bet he could hit it further if you could throw a strike!

  • Got to keep that back foot planted. Stepping with both feet like he is, is going to make him late on his swing. Something to work on.

  • those arn't even real baseballs

  • awesome hitting (i wont be surprised if he ends up playing FOR the yankees)

  • That kids good

  • That kid can hit better than some 9th graders I know!!

  • his dad sucks at throwing and yankees suck.....you r turning that kid into a tool if you are not actually from new york

  • dude why are you making him hit shit pitches?

  • HES A LEFTY

  • hes goin to be a beast when he gets older

  • that kid can mash!

  • haha thats awesome im glad your workin with your kid i hope hes great someday keep it up

  • I used to be like this, but my biggest problem was my speed. I have great hitting abilities, a pretty good glove, and a very strong arm, but i am so slow that i won't play baseball past high school. I hope this kid has a set of wheels.

  • i figured it out.....it's the yankee jersey haha best team ever

  • leg forward and dont step on the plate!!good job cant wait to see yo in the major league!!!!!

  • Throw him some chin music.lol am kidding.

  • keep your son practicing, you never know what can happen. i see videos of myself at his age playing little league ball and i find it amazing. i stuck with it and am now playing high school ball batting .500 and hoping to play professional out of high school or go to college first. just don't stop playing.

  • this kid is legit

  • ur son is Beast at baseball!

  • You guys commenting on his form or the fact that the Dad is throwing foam balls are idiots. The kid is 5 years old and has incredible eye-hand coordination. Definite potential.

  • you guys are assholes. i played minor league ball and this kid looks great for his age.

  • no offence, but none of his hits went into the outfield. hes still great for 5 years old though.

  • hes on a softball field..he's 5 so he's in teeball. those would be HR's in T ball

  • YOU HIT HIM WITH THE BALL frequently??????

  • my lil bro is way better he turned 5 in august check his video kid can hit ball but he uppercuts not a good trend to start

  • This is gonna piss some of you off..but he needsa quit stepping on the plate...kid has a great eye for the ball tho...

  • @trunk516 He's 5

  • arent real balls so its alot easier....i mean yeah he makes contact but i wouldnt be going around saying he was incredible

  • wow u faggets who say he is good should slap yourself right now. those rnt real baseballs n there being thrown at hmmmmm.... 5 mph! dumbasses get a life. he only makes good contact

  • he is dropping his hands but he definetly has potential. I suggest lessons because lessons really improved me

  • lol! at 1:32

  • he has so much contact for his age very impressive!!

  • omg i love this kid. hes very good for his age also hes wearing a yankees jersey.

  • thats a fake bouncy bal

  • Very good for a 5yr old. My little cousin is about his age and hits the ball like that, dont let him take after the pros and how they bat, that will screw his swing and all the technique up.

  • shit that kid is B3AST! he hits it 2 the outfield every time!

  • you fucking fail kid.

  • hax

  • thats no 60mph!!!!!

  • What A Slugger!!!

  • He's def good but my little bro was much better than this when he is five.

  • Tell me his last name when he gets older, so I don't seem like a stalker, because if he goes to the MLB, I'll know who he was on YouTube. lol.

  • He's a great hitter, and I am sure he'd be great in the future, and I hope he has fun, but he's not hitting a baseball, you're throwing very lightly, and he's hitting a normal pitch.

Oh well. He's very good. I hope he keeps at it. I thought Babe Ruth retired! Heh!

He's a lefty like me and Ruth!

  • hes really good but sadly no there not homers. there using rubber balls. but at least he hits the ball.

  • You are doing a great job keeping his interest high and low pressure of course for his age.He seems to have a good natural swing for his age and this is good.I recommend that you gradually add other basics about hitting a baseball between the ages of 7 and 10.I am an expert of little league batting problems.Let me know if you ever need some advise.

  • Thanks Buckey! One of my tricks that another coach recommended was to make games out of it, so I pretend to be a famous pitcher in history and he can be famous batters each time. I actually would appreciate some advice from you. He was only eligible for tee ball this spring, so all his practice time is with me, but I guess that means he's experiencing pitching that he won't face for many years.

  • what kind of balls do u pitch him...........hes got a great swing

  • Thanks man. I pitch him the kind of balls they use in pitching machines, but they are dead flat foam ones so they have no bounce to them. I'm obviously not a good pitcher, so I hit him all the time and I can't hit him with hard balls. If you drop these ones on cement, they only bounce once and then just sit. I tried tennis balls but they fly back at me at 60mph and I don't want to get blasted.

  • I pitch these dead flat foam safety balls. When you drop one even on cement it won't bounce. They're meant for people like me who can't pitch and hit the kid all the time. The company is Slider.

  • He's doing a great job! Way to go!

  • i just hope the dad does not try and teach me how to throw
